Chelsea winning trophies will not come as soon as many have expected. Pochettino is building Chelsea from scratch with new players. Much shouldn't be expected from him. It will take years before we can see Chelsea comfortably lift a trophy. The least we can expect them to do at this season and the upcoming season is to fall between the top position of 3rd to 7th position of the premier league table.
Yep, it is not the right time to expect Chelsea competing for the trophy. I'm sure people only expect Chelsea to return to the top 5 of EPL standings. But, it looks like quite difficult for Chelsea because their squad isn't ready to compete with other teams which have more established squad. It is true that Chelsea has many new players, they need time to adapt with many things. We actually must understand if they are still difficult to give good performance, the new players won't suddenly play with their best only in few matches. However, TBH I'm also a bit surprising that Chelsea could be defeated by West Ham and Nottm Forest. Even if Chelsea dominated by many new players, their squad is much better than those teams.

Yep. Amrabat is a good player, and It was a good signing. Looking forward to him improving United's midfield
Now we wait till Brighton game to see him.
Many players were victim of rape, violence and other accusations that ruined their career before it ends up being totally false.. Benjamin Mendy is the latest victim that was acquitted.

And Drama still goes on...
Manchester United are under pressure to drop Antony after Brazil withdrew the footballer from their squad following serious allegations of physical assault.
Antony announced he didn't do anything and until a prove is given or a provisory detention was done, I find it abusive to reject a player that way.. There is political candidates with serious allegations that are running for top positions and not being kicked from the races. Are football players more important than those? So random Undecided

Arsenal are tough and fierce when it comes to games on Emirates ground. Mikel Arteta is acquainted with his players and knows exactly the appropriate techniques to triggered against his opponents. Manchester United were victims of fatigue in the game, Erik Ten Hag made big mistakes this summer by not signing Alejandro Martinez replacement, he had the available funds to sign rather he was reluctant. The Red Devils were devoured by Gunners in injury time, ofcourse no one was expecting that, because we have all concluded the game to be a  North London Derby draw tie.

Firstly the match wasn’t a north London derby. The north London derby is the game between Arsenal and Tottenham, Manchester United is a club in Manchester and plays their derby only against Manchester City. This game could be termed a Rival match because of the great rivalry or history both teams have shared in the past.

Secondly I would agree without you that Manchester United made a costly mistake this transfer window for not signing a new Center Back. But that is not a Ten Hag’s problem, because the united hierarchy were scared of FFP and only wanted to sign a new Center half only if they get to sell or loan Harry Maguire away but the Englishman didn’t want to leave and that is why they didn’t sign any CB. They rather went on to get former academy graduate Jonny Evans to sign a season contract after being released by Leicester City this summer.

The mistake made by Ten Hag in that game was substituting out Victor Lindelof who was actually having a great game along side Martinez. Evans came on and looked shaky at the back and that caused United the second goal scored by Rice.

Chelsea has a good defense, good midfield and attacking players but are lacking creativity that is why I don’t approve of their big spendings because they are not technically strengthening their weak positions but just signings players and hoping that would solve their problems. They have spend this much in two windows and still cannot comfortably win games or even compete at a convincing level. Pochettino has a lot to do, he’s been given the players he want, it is now his turn to win trophies.

So far we have only seen Arsenal beat Man United, the quality and depth of Arteta squad will be truly tested when they meet Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham. If you can secure points at the meeting with these clubs, Asenal will really end their title drought at the end of the season. Yesterday's win at home from United deserves appreciation, but we know this is just the start of the season.

On the other hand, Man United is still unstable, even though Ten Hag has spent a lot of money in the transfer market. I see United fate almost the same as Chelsea fate at this time, not yet completely stable.
Arsenal won Manchesger United with full pressing dominance coming in from gunners. However they have priorities to meet up this season, perhaps it's still early and we're waiting to witnessed more to come. Arsenal are promising this season, they have good chances of winning more elite encounters this season. Mikel Arteta is having a good time as manager for Gunners in the ongoing campaign. Whatever accolades he's accumulating, he deserved them without hesitation. He keep building the club for the past years and seems now is the time for him to start reaping were he sowed.

Arsenal won against Manchester United with a very good performance that shows how improved and prepared they are this season since they are able to win their matches convincely but until we see them do better at the middle of the season or before the end of the season I don't think they are to be praised yet knowing that they can play even 5 matches without getting a positive results. Arsenal's performance looks promising as you said but let's remember last season when they were unbeaten in more than 6 matches but when everyone expected them to utilize the opportunity to win the English Premier League they allowed the trophy slip out of their hands I don't think they will forget that in a hurry.

For them coach Arteta I think he's got the experience, learnt his lessons and ready to keep improving the quality players he's got in the team but until they get to face and win Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur we shouldn't take them seriously yet or see them as league contenders with City.

Chelsea has a good defense, good midfield and attacking players

Chelsea has everything you listed above only on "paper", when reality sets in and a premier league game is being played; you will find out that Chelsea good defense, good midfield and attacking players does not exist; neither do they have a good system too.

Quote
   but are lacking creativity
Chelsea creativity is truly poor; but do you know the worse one? even if they get the best creator in the league; they do not have a goal scorer in their team and their owners does not seem concerned to get any.

And I hope the next game will see a change. Let's see what Amrabat and Hojlund bring to the team.
Amrabat and Hojlund are good players, but they need to adapt with the tactics of Man United. I don't know if they will adapt quickly, but you shouldn't expect too much on them. It is not easy to give their best when they are still adapting with everything.

Yep. Amrabat is a good player, and It was a good signing. Looking forward to him improving United's midfield

There was a luck factor for Arsenal in their late victory against Manchester United. Arsenal didn't have many good chances to score although at the end of 3 out of 5 attempts their goal was enough to get them a full 3 points at home. Of course it's great, but I don't think I can beat Manchester City and Liverpool in the same way.

After watching yesterday’s game, I think teams should be wary of Arsenal in stoppage and additional time because  Arsenal are utilizing the additional minutes to yield productive results. Against Manchester United and Manchester City, Arsenal have gotten late comeback goals and win games this season. Arsenal really showed the red devils who’s boss at the Emirates, the fans will ride on this victory for the rest of the month.

Arsenal knows exactly what to do when they face big teams in England, and that is what I have loved about Arteta this season, winning Manchester City in community Shield is a sign that shows that Arsenal are all out for something this season. They show their solidity when they face big teams, but I think they will fumble when they face small teams because Arteta underrates them and give a wrong formation. If Arsenal had lost that game, then it would have been because of Mikel Arteta because Karl Harvetz has been a total flop since he came to Arsenal, and a good coach would have rather had him sit on the bench, than to spoil his Match. He contributes nothing when he is on the Field, and always very scared to hold the ball for some seconds.Arteta should change a formation that includes Harvetz,if not, teams like Necastle,Briton and even Totthenham will punish them this season.

City have been so consistent in the English premier league where even the least team in the league can put up a surprising show on a good day against even the best team in the league. I remember the season Liverpool were going unbeaten until watford defeated them by a 3 to nil scoreline. I expect even Manchester City will face such game this season that will stop their winning streak and it will be surprising that it could be Luton who will be the hero of the day.
Manchester City's consistency in dominating the Premier League title can still be stopped if other teams are able to perform well and take advantage of every match to achieve victory. The problem is that no team has performed like that, even in the first 4 matches this season, Manchester City managed to win 12 points compared to 19 other teams.

You can expect Manchester City's winning streak to stop at one game but I don't think Luton will do that. Last season Manchester City lost 5 times and drew 5 times, so their defeat can be expected this season regardless of which team will do it. I hope Liverpool and Manchester United, but United looks bad so far.
Manchester City is on a winning streak from 2020-2021 which is really surprising. No team can beat them. Manchester City's streak of wins this season has raised many questions. Some say that their victory will not stop and many say that it is time for them to lose. But whatever we guess if the players have performance on the field no one can stop them from winning.

In this winning streak may not last long if Tottenham, Liverpool or Arsenal can capitalize on their old form. However, no-one other than Arsenal was close to them last season when Tottenham were 8th and Liverpool 5th. Compared to that, the teams have come forward in this end. They are only 2 points behind Manchester City. By defeating a match points table can become more competitive.

It suprises how people risk betting in such kind of match, because it's one that involves two big teams and is expected to be very tough, in matches like this I know right that there would be too many goals because if you check their previous meetings they always have 3 to goals in the matches so to be on a safer side I  expect people to bet over 1.5 goals, which has always worked I'm their past 3 meetings even in the preseason.
In my opinion, to be honest I think the Var robbed Manchester united of the game and that call wrong because it was clearly not an offside and if the goal was given the game would had been in favour of united cause the would had blocked their defence line instead of coming out to score an equalizer anyways the decision is being made an there's nothing anyone can do about it, Manchester United are left with no choice but to accept defeat and work on performing better on their next match which I feel would be very tough cause they're facing Brighton.
Talking about VAR’s interventions in the game VAR did not intervene on Manchester United’s chance of getting a goal it also ruled out a possible penalty chance for Arsenal which no one is even talking about because Arsenal won the game at last. I have seen the photos from VAR’s assessment and it was shown to be an offside, I don’t know what other explanations Manchester United supporters want from the officials.
Sincerely, I think the last Arsenal match ended at 5-2. The days were Var wasn't involved, it highly likely that Manchester United would have won the game even after the var results were final.
The ball through to Rashford seemed more promising than when the ball was given to Anthony. I know Anthony got the pace and goal hungry, but I do think Manchester United has to find a creative winger who can dribble  and shoot on sight from outside the box 18.
There's no explanation, the evidence is clear and though it might seem the VAr decision is biased, I can assure everyone that video evidence has never failed to reveal the nature of any act, even in a court of law.

It looks like Mikel Arteta knows Manchstr United condition a bad state looking for opportunities to study United weaknesses and be used as a weapon to beat United at home so it only natural that Arsenal are more flexible in beating him because United condition is currently very bad regarding the selection of main players and problems with Erik Ten hag being difficult to compete with Arsenal.

If Manchester City was a team in the la liga, they would dominate the league and probably go unbeaten every season.
Fortunately Manchester City is still a team in the Premier League, but they have also dominated the title in the last 6 seasons. Lol
Manchester City coached by Pep Guardiola has won 5/6 titles from the last 6 seasons. They also managed to defend their title in the last 3 seasons between 2021-2023. If only Liverpool didn't win the title in the 2019/2020 season, so far Manchester City have won 6/6 titles in the last 6 seasons.

City have been so consistent in the English premier league where even the least team in the league can put up a surprising show on a good day against even the best team in the league. Manchester United didn't start so confidently and briskly last season, but at the end of the league they still managed to take 3rd place in the standings last season. So, I'm sure these guys will still be able to gain momentum even despite the recent loss to Arsenal (mind you with a difference of 2 goals).
The Premier League is still long, anything can be done by Erik Ten Hag to improve the inconsistent squad, but I believe the big teams can eventually complete the ticket for the Champions League next season, at the beginning they still continue to improve and do things that the coach thinks are suitable for his tactics.
Many of the players recruited by Man United have good individual skills but don't have a football brain and are used to being given freedom. So when they have to play with the system, they can't run it well, their decision making is bad. Maybe this is something ETH needs to fix so that it can be consistent in the next match.

What are the predictions for this season, my dear football fans? Will there be another confrontation (fight for the Premier League Cup) between Arsenal and Manchester City again or will one (or several) teams join the race for the title? Your thoughts? Who will represent a really serious competition to these two favorites? Manchester United?
I feel it will compete with Liverpool. Lol
Manchester City is still very difficult to beat they are too solid, so the title race will be between them or other teams but not Manchester United.  Grin
The two favorites of the title race are Manchester City and Liverpool.
In the Klopp era? During his time at Liverpool, Klopp has only won the EPL once for 7 years and he still maintains it to this day. Likewise, it took Man City several years for Pep Guardiola to win the UCL League. It's a pity that ETH, when it's only the second season, already wants to be told to step down. It took Klopp 5 years and Liverpool fans are patient. Why do Man United fans have such high demands? Look at the condition of the club since Sir Alex Ferguson left it, it really took a long time for Man United to return to the way it used to be. If it is replaced every two years, Man United's process of rising will not be completed. I mean, Man United this season if they don't win the EPL Trophy is still reasonable and ETH still deserves to be maintained.

Newcastle have really disappointed with their games, especially the game against Brighton... I'm not surprised they lost the games against Liverpool and Man City because they were really tough matches... Now they can't lose in the next ones and lose points...
Honestly Newcastle is a new team if you ask me, yes they are an old one with the name and all but they have been bought just less than two years ago, so they are building a new team and sometimes you could see results like these from the new teams and it happens, there is nothing wrong with that. They are trying to find who they are and they are trying their best to do as well as possible too.

I think it should be important to realize that we are not going to see something major with this team, not at the moment. I believe that we saw them do well last season so our perspective was skewed a bit, but the reality is that last season was last season and this season is a new one so we should be caring about that.
