Newcastle start to this season was very bad, their performance was very different from last season. Even as an Arsenal fan myself, I unfortunately have to agree with you , if you noticed here, I have not commented on the Arsenal against Manchester united on that match they player 2 days ago, I personally feel that Arsenal did not deserve the win, Manchester united won the match but 2 goals to one, but they were just unlucky to have VAR cancel the goal, this I believe distablized the Manchester united payers out of the shock and disappointment, Arsenal rode on this distability of the man united payers to immediately put 2 goals in which resulted in them winning the match, If VAR hadn't canceled goal from man united, man united would have won the match.

In this match there were several interesting moments after which the game could have changed and gone differently. Arsenal were lucky that the goal was disallowed after an offside. Both teams can be criticized and praised for the game as a whole and for individual moments. But still Arsenal looked more interesting, more worthy and won deservedly.

I think that if i just see newcastle's performance is dropping so hard. I meant to look at how newcastle could not win one from the last three games. The quality of newcastle is still questionable. I thought that if this club can do better than it.
Brighton was a strong opponent but newcastle could not at least get draw against it. The players are not feeling confidence anymore and i think that the problem was on eddie howe.

Howe's substitution of some important players caused the match against Liverpool to become a blunder for Newcastle. This coach is still doing the same thing against brighton.
I think that if howe has reached its maximum capability to handle the club. I think that newcastle will be stuck started from here. I don't expect a lot from this club in UCL.

The loose streak faced by newcastle was a horrible thing as for now.

Regarding the offside in the Arsenal vs MU match. I've watched some material about the VAR system and here's what I realized. VAR shows all moments with accuracy to the millimeter. It doesn't matter the angle of view. It can be from any angle, but the line will still be drawn correctly. Camera angles are different in all stadiums. The position of the players on the field is different all the time. It doesn't matter. The whole point of VAR is that it will draw the correct line from one angle, and from another, and from a third.

Newcastle and Chelsea well they really didn't live up to everyone's expectations at the start of the season. Especially Newcastle, who started the season well in the first game. But then they continued to experience consecutive defeats. Well that's a really disappointing thing.

You are talking about a downward trend but do you know how many points they had in the season 2021/22? They had 58 points for the entire season. That is when I thought there was a downward trend coming. But last season they have had a pretty impressive hunt for the top after a really bad start and finished the season with solid 75 points being 8 points ahead of Liverpool and qualifying for the Champions League.

If we look at the facts they lost two game away against Arsenal and Tottenham. Both losses better not happen, but can happen. Though I agree that their game isn't solid until now. They are not playing well, but they had the same issue last season and got it solved with every additional match and they became better and better. I think they could still play a good season, but indeed a few things need to improved quickly.

In this summer, their transfer looks very similar to previous seasons. They bought Hojlund with very expensive price and again, facing with a failed transfer with very expensive cost.

They did not improve their defense system in the summer and it will still be one of their biggest weaknesses in this season. Just a few first matches of season and they had to use Maguire, Johns in their central defensive positions. It's not a depth of a squad that can play in some competitions and can compete well in a long season.

Over the last few years we have seen Manchester United spending a lot of money building their squad. But even then their performance is quite poor. They can't pick the right players for their squad. And they are not learning from past mistakes. They have made similar mistakes this season as well. They added Hojlund to the squad for 75 million. Hojlund is a talented player. But he lacks the ability to score consistently. He might be able to play well in the future, but that too cannot be said for sure. Manchester United need an experienced striker this season. They are planning for the future without correcting their weaknesses. Manchester United could have added a proven scorer to the squad without Hojlund.

I personally see that the root of Manchester United's problems is the limited budget in the transfer market this time. Erik Ten Heg had to rack his brains to shop as effectively as possible with limited funds. And Erik Ten Heg also complained about this because he actually has many players he is targeting in the transfer market this season. This is related to the issue of ownership of MU which was rumored to be sold. But until now there is no certainty. So that it can be said that there are still internal problems within the MU club. So it's only natural that MU has experienced a slight decline this season. Because they don't shop much in the transfer market.

It's been a total disaster, and I must admit, I'm running out of patience. It looks like that Man United coach struggles to find quality players. Instead, they go for high-priced players who don't perform well. Sure, they might have a good striker, but there's a lack of effective support for him. The main issue here is the team's coordination. They consistently put themselves under pressure due to this.

Newcastle and Chelsea well they really didn't live up to everyone's expectations at the start of the season. Especially Newcastle, who started the season well in the first game. But then they continued to experience consecutive defeats. Well that's a really disappointing thing.

And regarding Manchester United, I still think that Erik Ten Heg has not been able to unite the players in the squad well. I think the players kind of played uncomfortably with each other. So that teamwork looks bland. Actually they are quality players. But I feel a little Dejavu because at the start of last season the same thing happened. Honestly, I'm starting to doubt Erik Ten Heg's expertise. But I also can't blame him because he is also struggling in the transfer market with limited funds.
