when Kevin de Bruyne was injured it was clear that Manchester City's game had changed, it would be difficult for Manchester City if De Bruyne's injury problem was not resolved immediately by bringing in a new player on par with Kevin de Bruyne, so don't expect too much from Manchester City to repeat like last season,

Judging by the kind of quality Kelvin De Bruyne brings to the Manchester City side whenever he's playing, there's no doubt that his creativity in the attacking of Manchester City wouldn't be greatly missed.
Against Sevilla yesterday, City struggled to create goalscoring chances and that's because De Bruyne wasn't on the pitch. Pep Guardiola I know isn't a novice to this kind of issues and I know he'll find the perfect style that'll keep his City side going once again

The last season shows some signals that Manchester City and Pep must replace De Bruyne as within some months, the player lost his position and important role in their squad. As well as the player got more injuries and missed more matches and the injury in Champions League final match only put his career in Manchester City under bigger risk. Erling Haaland will need to have better performances in big matches but he is young and can improve himself. Fortunately for Haaland, he joined Manchester City that is almost a perfect squad before the last season. He gave them a kind of last piece of their masterpiece and together they became treble winners in the last season.

In a first match of Premier League 2023 - 2024, Haaland scored two goals which are his good start but I think he will have more challenges from defenders and clubs in Premier League. They already had one season and one summer to analyze Haaland's strength and weakness so that they can control him better and minimize his danger against their defense systems.

What I want to say is Cole Palmer is an underrated player, this guy have save Manchester City two times during Community Shield and Super Cup. There's no need Manchester City to look for other player who play in right wing position, they already have Cole Palmer.
