While it would be still be classified as a friendly, it would be interesting to watch as I think both clubs may very well bring out some/all of their big guns in order to win the game.
The statistics on their 5 last games played showed Barcelona winning 4 matches of the 5. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have second guessed Barcelona to go ahead and win the upcoming friendly game but Arsenal showed a lot of spirit last season and also with their new signings, they’re now a force to reckon with. It would surely be interesting to see who would come out on top in this friendly.

Arsenal want to perform well above their last year's performance this year. The expectations of Arteta's students are to finish the Premier League as champions. I hope they can do it but they have to beat a tough team like Manchester City. They should continue the good performance from last year until the end of the year. If they play against Barcelona, I have no doubt that the match will be of good quality. Both teams are very good.

Arteta may look underated but trust me, he has work with Guardiola before and been a partner, he knows him better and he must have gotten some his strategy before coming to Arsenal, and that is why if yu observe Arsenal match in early 2022, the goals between Arsenal and Manchester City is between 1 goal to nill and in addition to the statistics, you will found out that Arsenal does has more ball possession than Manchester City, the only reason for the goals are always bad Midfielders and defenders but I believe that will be sort out this season.

My problem with Manchester City is there has never been a season they don't dominate the Premier League, even if they don't make it to the Champions League final, they always find away to dominate Premier league in first or second place and no team in England that has been able to neutralized them so far but who knows if Arsenal previous season was a testing phase, they may do more than what they play last season and to accomplish that, I will take the state of Declan Rice as he belive that Gunners are on the right track to win the Premier League once again.

Combination of new signings and old players who still have contracts Arsenal aren't really bad but I think there is room for improvement, as long as the talent is there, blending wouldn't be hard because if you look at how Arteta handle 2022 and went well, even 2023 will be super with time when the season kick start.

Next season Arsenal will not only compete with Man City, especially in the premier league because a number of other clubs have also made major changes to the players they will recruit. Man United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle also still have the chance to become strong challengers to Arsenal next season and the dominance of Man City or Arsenal will definitely get interference from other clubs who have undergone some major changes at this time. Arteta must be able to try to continue the positive trend next season and target several new players that can help them compete with other teams.

The Premier League will be more competitive next season and many clubs will also surprise them. I saw the friendly match that Arsenal had with Man United and these two teams played with high intensity, so we can see an illustration of how the competition next season will be even more interesting in the premier league.

Kyle Walker will turn 34 in May, so it may be important for him to adapt to the relatively easier competition compared to the Premier League. The Bundesliga is not as strict as the Premier League, so it might be good as one of Kyle Walker's considerations for the upcoming season.

Kyle Walker is still very fast for a right-back, but as he gets older his performance and speed will certainly decrease. I still think Kyle Walker could play for Manchester City for the next few seasons, but I don't think it will be more than 2 seasons. Pep Guardiola must convince Walker to stay until he at least finds a suitable replacement for him.
Kyle Walker is one of the few right-back that would be able to compete with 50/50 speed with attackers. However he's getting weak but that doesn't mean he's a flop, he gaining every strength and experience. Bayern Munich interested in the English right-back, his chances of moving to the bundesliga side is 80%. Afterall he declined in performance and not consistent in league games for Manchester City, frequently recording severe injuries that would hindered him from giving his 100% energy for league games. Pep Guardiola is an ambitious coach, who wants his result to be winning at all course, no time for reluctance attitudes, ready to take on his opponents in league games.

These pre-game seasons are quite worthless when it comes to their meaningfulness for the real season. Of course you could say that Nunez scored a few goals, but against whom? Yesterday they played against Greuther Furth, a 2. Bundesliga team from Germany and they played 4-4. Now is that a good result for Liverpool and does it mean that Nunez is the right guy because he scored 2 goals in an 8 goals game against a 2. Bundesliga team? This is really meaningless in my opinion. The first real test will be against Chelsea when the new season starts.

I'm not praising Nunez I'm just comparing it to when he first joined he did the same as yesterday's match scored a lot of goals in pre-season matches but when he goes through a real season he couldn't do much the result is not as expected that's why I said don't be too quick to praise Nunez because he could have repeated the same thing as last season, very good on pre season and bad in real season. I know we can't jump to conclusions in pre-season games because it's just a strategic experiment, just look at most of the mainstay players entered in the second half whereas in the first half Klopp played second tier.

I definitely agree with you and this happened quite often that a player performs so well in the pre-season or in another club because everything around him fits his inner expectation of a comfort zone that makes that specific player perform, but then they get to play under pressure or change their environment (club) and it is like it's game over for them. 25 goals in a season in club A, then 5 goals in a season in club B. Every time we think that this shouldn't be the case because a player has proven his quality already, but to be honest most human beings are no different in that they function better in certain places. There are a few exceptions like players like Messi, but most aren't like that. Nunez is a kind of guy who needs the perfect environment around him, for him specifically. We'll see whether he finds what he needs in Liverpool.

I do not think Kyle had this in mind. As a member of a team, they are all aware that there are games where their strength is needed and other games where other people's strength is needed in the game. Kyle Walker is a fast defender and against some very fast wingers like Vinicius Jr he is an excellent choice to close them down, but for some other types of wingers in the champions league, Pep had a better choice. Everything is to the teams success. It is like he wants a new challenge, maybe that is why he wants to leave to another club.

Fulham introduced their latest signing from Wolves, namely Raul Jimenez. The duration of his contract is up to two years and of course he is very happy to still be able to defend a team in the EPL. Raul Jimenez was a striker who was arguably not so good last season and maybe Fulham brought in Raul Jimenez as a result of the departure of Aleksander Mitrovic who recently got closer to reaching an agreement with Al-Hilal. Fulham must have expected this to happen and although they did lose one of their key players for next season they did well after securing the services of Raul Jimenez.
Looking at the Fulham transfer market this summer, Raul Jimenez is their first recruit. Even though he didn't perform optimally last season with Wolves, Fulham chose Jimenes to fill the striker position if Aleksandar Mitrovic officially moved to Al Hilal. Reportedly a personal agreement has been reached, just waiting for one more step to officially become part of Al Hilal.

Jimenez time together with Wolves must end this summer after defending him for five years, and his best performance was recorded in the 201-2020 season. His presence is considered to be able to contribute to Fulham even though he is 32 years old, at least he can be a commensurate option for other striker Carlos Vinicius.

Testing new players as well old ones too and watching, assessing their capabilities while playing all the while formulating new strategies too. Seeing the performance put up by Arsenal last season, it wouldn’t be wise to underestimate them but Barcelona is no push over either.
Both clubs have their tradition to use young players from their own academies. Quality of young players provided by their academies are not stable and they have to use more old or more young players in some seasons but as all other clubs, finding good combinations between young and old players is important.

If young and old players can support each other, performance of a club would be good. A good coach is able to use players and get that balance in the squad.

Both teams are top teams in their respective leagues and it would be interesting to see who would come out on top.
On the matter of if Gundogan would be fielded in the game, I’m also curious. Gotten so used to seeing him in a Man City jersey.
They are rising in the last two seasons and are reclaiming their positions in domestic leagues. In Champions League, both Barcelona and Arsenal have yet belonged to top and they still have to improve many things.
Right from the days of Arsene Wenger up to this very moment, Arsenal is the only English Premier League club that many thinks they share much similarities with Barcelona especially their style of play.
Arsenal's performance last season has shown that they've significantly improved which is a good news for the North London club. Against Barcelona, Arsenal has the capability to give them a good run for their money but I think the Spanish club has a better chance of winning

The fact remain that Pep Guardiola will sell Walker this summer, it may look impossible but by the end of the deadline,he will surely go to Bayern Munich, it's seems Coach Tuchel take Walker as his priority side two this summer.
Guardiola may be doing U turn for walker. I read in some news that said that guardiola is still trying to re thinking again regarding his decision. Pep said that if it's possible to prevent walker to go to the bayern. I hope that guardiola will consider him to stay even longer in manchester city despite his old age.
The personal agreement alreayd happened between walker and bayern but i think that if we must wait the decision from manchester city regarding walker's future. I do believe if walker gonna stay even longer in manchester city.
I agree that with the schedule that awaits Man City next season, it will take a lot of energy, especially the health of its players. And at this time Man City financial support, which fully supports, should be used as best as possible. Has more replacement options. Having lost several players who have been part of achieving success must have had a huge impact on his departure. I'm sure Pep Guardiola realized earlier and we'll see in the transfer window that's still open he can still buy players. Walker is still really needed by Man City even though other options have been prepared, but it seems that Walker's end result will go. Here, if Bayern Munich gets Walker, it means that Bayern is lucky and can strengthen their defensive line more.

On the other hand Arsenal too tomorrow will facing Laliga champion Barcelona and based on people prediction Arsenal and Barcelona possibly will playing with their best of starting lineup and according to the statistics i can see Barcelona is the favourite because from 3 recent meetings Barcelona were unbeatable from Arsenal and for Arsenal they still unable to displayed good performance and got dissapoint result from Manchester United few days ago and today lets see their progress whether they can able to beat Barcelona or they will lost again

If we have to go through their recent performances in friendly matches that both clubs have played in this pre-season, I will say each club's chances of winning are 50/50 because the club's performance is not bad with matches the two clubs played, but if I follow their previous statistics, I will say Barcelona is the favorite team to win the matches because it is Barcelona that has the highest winning percentage in their all-time meetings. But this is a pre-season match that an unexpected club can win because many clubs don't take friendly matches so seriously compared to any competitions. Because of that, they don't use all their full squad at the same time, and many of their first eleven players don't put more effort into playing pre-season games because they are preventing themselves from injuries before the season starts.

Well, even though it's just a pre-season match, the excitement of the match will definitely be felt. And I'm really looking forward to this match. Arsenal have always struggled when facing Barcelona in previous meetings. But Arsenal's condition at the previous meeting was completely different from Arsenal's current condition. Well, we know that last season Arsenal has proven that they have returned to their best performance which they had lost in the previous few seasons. So the fight this time might be even more fierce than we thought. I personally favor Barcelona but I don't want to underestimate Arsenal either.

This match may not show the best performance from each team. Because the two coaches of the two teams will definitely not show their best strategy before the season starts. But testing new players who are brought in and trying out some new formulas will indeed be an interesting thing in this fight. I personally am curious whether Gundogan will be played by Barcelona in that match or not.

Perhaps you’re right. Coaches of the both sides wouldn’t want to display some new moves and strategies just yet. That would be saved for when there’s an actual competition to be won.

Xhaka had a leader character and he was the captain of Arsenal as well. Now he has left and Arsenal have brought more young players to the team. I wonder how this will affect the team next season. Odegaard is the new captain of the team. He is a very young captain who is only 24 years old. I don't have any idea about his leadership for now.

By the way Arsenal are planning to part ways with another player. Nicolas Pepe will be sent from the team as soon as possible. His first times were really good here as far as I can remember. However his performance dropped really sharply and became a disappointment.

It's laughable honestly. Granit Xhaka is a player who on several occasions have found it difficult to control his cool, emotions and feelings on the pitch. I guess you have forgotten about that. He's always wanting to take revenge and fight back which are not even mandatory in games. For me I'll say he might be playing at a top level but lacks discipline. A midfielder that can't control his emotions is useless, how do you expect him to control the midfied in tight situations and tougher games? Haha.

Odegaard is a correct lad, for me Mikel Arteta made a good decision making him the leader of that great squad. About Pepe, what's with the delay, Arsenal should part ways with him since he won't excel with Mikel's plans.

For Pep Guardiola, The case of Kyle Walker is a tough and hard decision to make but he has to make the conclusion and decisions finally, for the growth and introduction of a new right fullback, I really do think Pep Guardiola and Manchester City would part ways with Kyle Walker. For me he is just too good to be sitted on the bench. With the return of Cancelo and Pep Guardiola wantin to introduce a younger talent, he'll leave for Bayern Munich. Anything can still happen in between.

I see two players have different roles in Manchester City and they have different reasons to leave Manchester City. Gundogan had a more solid position and role in the club but it is not what Kyle got. He lost his position in their squad late of season. Suddenly he was used in two semi final matches against Real Madrid and contributed well to block dangerous attackings from Vinicius. Unfortunately, he was missing and not chosen in the final match. I believe Kyle felt that he is less important in Manchester City and decided to leave.

I feel that it's not that Pep doesn't need his services, it's more like Kyle Walker wants a change now. It's natural when you have achieved everything for consecutive years, a player always wants a change. It was same with Gundogan and it's same with Kyle.

Pep is smart and never stop trying new ideas, new tactics and players have to accept requests from Pep as well as be smart and adaptive enough. We saw how Joao Cancelo and Ruben Dias lost their positions in Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola, has many potentials in that wing, if he sell Walker out this season. It won't be a problem to the Manchester city treble team.
City has got gvardiol for that but walker is still very important for manchester city. He has contributed a lot for manchester city last season in winning treble winners.
That's why city is still insist in fight to defend walker from bayern.

...therefore Pep Guardiola still needs Kyle Walker's services at least until next season.
Of course, but the problem is that Pep wouldn't need his services throughout the season, he will be picked specifically for certain games, just like what happened last season. I'm pretty sure Walker doesn't want that, he wants to move to a team in which he can start nearly every game, and he knows City can't give him that and this is why they are offering him just a one year contract. If kyle Walker leaves City, it is because he knows that his game-time at the Etihad would be quite limited next season.

It will be better for a team to have excess players than to suffer a deficit. Manchester City might think Kyle Walker is not important until they lose some players to injuries or suspension. That player you think is not important will suddenly become the backbone of the team. City will be competing for four important competitions and they are defending three. It will be a tight schedule for the players and most of them will be prone to fatigue and injuries. City needs more players than before.

For me, it will be good to keep the English international for more seasons until they get the right reserve player. And from all indications, Pep Guardiola is not willing to let the 33years defender move regardless of interest from Bayern Munich. Although Walker is not pleased with seating on the bench, it is also a privilege to play in a club that has achieved much. He didn't play in the champions league finals against Inter Milan but he also got a gold medal.

Some things that must be noted here

1. MU use youth squad in this game instead of main squad gonna face real madrid tomorrow.
2. Evans was the only experienced player in the club.

Well. it's still a big shame for manchester united caused by it's second squad was even weaker compared with wrexham. The main squad gonna face real madrid and MU will come with full power against madrid.
That's why the main squad was not playing in this mantch. Im watching it now in MUtv. MU uses the youth team to face wrexham.

The youth team of manchester united looked very weak. It's embarrassing result if youth team of MU gonna lose against wrexham caused by it will prove that wrexham has better quality compared with youth team of MU.
Wrexham seems to play in the fourth division and it is necessary to beat such a team even with the youth squad, to train it to win, but it is impossible to lose to such teams, otherwise it seems that there is no point in such games?

But this defeat is not the worst thing that could happen, there is still time to analyze.
I think the management of Manchester United should pay attention to the selection work of Ten Haag. Most of the newcomers from the Dutch championship, in fact, Ten Haag takes not the strongest players, but those who know from the Dutch championship or saw how they played there. Onana and Mount are prime examples of such selection.

Some time ago there were rumors that Kyle Walker would leave Manchester City and join Bayern Munich. But Pep Guardiola has stated that he hopes Kyle Walker can stay in Manchester City and we are even ready to fight to keep him so that no club can touch him. I think Pep Guardiola's actions were very appropriate to retain Kyle Walker and if we think his role is still very important in maintaining the defense of Manchester City.

Kyle Walker is a right-back with incredible pace and if he were to leave, who would replace him? even in the champions league against Vini, he was the one who managed to stop him and in the England national team he also managed to stop Mbappe at that time. So I think now Kyle Walker has more of a role to stop players at high speed because he is able to keep up with these players.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1683776160998596608

I don't think, Pep Guardiola will allow Kyle walker to leave the team in this summer, because he is among the Pilar that made Manchester city a strong team, which the Manchester city coach is aware of it through the concluded premier league competition last season, that is why the coach is doing everything possible to make him to enjoy the benefits of his performance by retain Kyle walker. If Kyle walker by mistake leave Manchester city, it will be difficult for Manchester city to get a potential defender like Kyle walker that will make the team function like the way they function to embraced many titles last season. If Kyle walker will still play for Manchester city this season, I believe Manchester city will still display well to remain champions through out the tournament.
In as much as Kyle Walker isn't consistently in the starting vi of Manchester City, there's no doubt about the fact that he's a very important member of the City squad. When City where to face Real Madrid in the semi finals of last season's UEFA Champions League competition, Pep Guardiola understood that there's no other Man City player that can deal with the pace of Madrid's Vinicius Jnr than Walker and the England international did exceptionally well to silent the Brazilian in the second leg of that tie at the Etihad.
City has already lost some members of last season treble winning squad leave and wouldn't afford to let me leave the club again
