Manchester United were good last season under the new coach, this season they will be better. It is two straight wins for the team now in the pre season games, and although these games are not the perfect games to judge how the team will perform next season, it is a good test that can show the direction of the teams progress and the progress of every player in the team under the manager. Some more players will join Manchester United, Onana the goalkeeper is almost a done deal for them, they will be strong in goal, defense, midfield and attack, they have the players and more are coming.

Why do you think United will get better? I am a United fan myself, but I think it will be difficult even to keep the third place, and even more difficult to climb higher. Buying Mount is good, buying Onana is just a replacement for De Gea. I don't see any major enhancements. If United got Kane or Osimhen, you could say that they are getting stronger, but in my opinion now +- the same level.

After failing to secure the league title last season as new Rivals Manchester City outplayed them and finished top of the table last season, the club has reacted well by investing hugely to boost the squad this summer. Arsenal now have another chance to compete for the league and every silverware next season. As Kai Harvertz has said that he is looking forward to winning a trophy with Arsenal next season.
There are many people who are not so sure about Arsenal performance next season but I as an Arsenal fan will say that I agree with your argument that although many doubt Kai Harvertz performance at Arsenal, I am sure that if a new player meets and is trained with an experienced coach, will definitely will create extraordinary talent in the next season with Arsenal.
Some people support Manchester city but I will support Arsenal because for sure City next season will have a target to win the Champions League again so consistent they will be a little disturbed by maintaining the physicality of their players so that this opportunity will be used by Arsenal to get more points to shift City position from the Premier League standings.
I hopes are not too big for Arsenal, I just want my favorite club to win the premier league, to prove that Arsenal can give the best for their fans.

Arsenal are reinforcing and relearning and with the way things went last season, Arsenal will use the disappointment of missing out on the Premier League title to Manchester City last season to come back even stronger when the new campaign gets under way. The recent signings to the team are capable of having a transformative effect in terms of bolstering the quality of the whole team. So I expect them to pull up a big surprise as the season unfolds.

Is it Kai Harvertz you are taking seriously? Kai has been a total flop recently and I don't see him improving soon. He plays awfully for Chelsea last season and Arsenal should not expect much from him this coming season. We understand Chelsea as a team has been faced with lots challenges but Kai performance as individual was not impressive.

Harry Maguire has made his best contribution at Manchester United since August 2019 by ending this year at a cheap price, so this will be an opportunity for Chelsea as they try to buy one of the best players from Manchester United. However, what must be considered for Chelsea is that Harry Maguire is already 30 years old, which means he is old, and Chelsea are trying to make an offer of $40 Million. Erik Ten Hag made a pretty brave decision because he had to let go of Harry Maguire for half the price of when Manchester United bought him at the start of his career at Manchester United.

You say that Mauire did well at Manchester United and he has made a significant contribution to the Ten Hag squad, well maybe you said that in previous years. Because for now it is clear that Maguire has had a poor performance at Manchester United, he often makes blunders and cannot balance Manchester United's defense at the back. This is the reason why Ten Hag wants to sell him and for now Maguire has no place at Manchester United. There is no reason for Maguire to stay at Manchester United, now is the time for him to decide to leave. The latest news is that now Chelsea has made an offer worth 40 million to Manchester United regarding Maguire, this price is indeed half of Manchester United's previous purchase price which is around 80 million and that means that if Ten Hag agrees to the price clause offered by Chelsea then Manchester United will little loss on the sale. I hope Ten Hag will consider Chelsea's offer because it is pointless if he maintains the high price clause in Maguire's sale, as it will only make other clubs choose to look for other alternatives.

It's a shame what happened to Arteta's squad last season, the trophy is in sight, but as we know, Manchester City is stronger in dominating every game by gaining full points. Now I see Arteta's seriousness in improving his squad by bringing in several quality players. I hope he will think more about the players on the bench so that when regular players get injured they have suitable and good candidates to balance in every next game. For next season I will only focus on Arsenal and I will keep an eye on whether they can win the title from Manchester City.

I recently heard that Chelsea are very interested in rescuing Maguire from Manchester United and are considering signing him. I read from some news that now Chelsea has made an offer to Manchester United worth 40 million pounds. On the other hand, my question is whether Pochettino is sure he will bring in a player who is experiencing a decline in performance because it is clear that we know that recently Maguire has often made blunders at Manchester United. Chelsea is in the recovery phase and that means Pochettino really needs to choose a player who is performing well and then who can make a significant contribution to his squad.
That rumor can’t be true because everyone is aware of how Maguire has been a total flop for Manchester United and the blunders he commits are too silly. The rumor came up because of the injury wesley fofana sustained during the week and would be out for couple of months or probably out for the whole season. Fofana is part of the coachs plan for the season and so they are looking for a replacement to fill his space. I don’t think there will be any need to sign a new since Levi Colwill is available and the team has decided he is not for sell, Brighton are doing everything possible to sign him and they are even planning to include him in Caiceido’s deal.

Maguire is being linked to chelsea not because the manager wants him, pochettino clearly will have no use for maguire so why add such player to squad when the team is already flushing out players that are under performing. The team already have Silva and Badiashile already with Chaloba and Colwill to back them up in case of injuries.

At the moment it is still very difficult to get a major title with Manchester United and it will be his dream to win a major title one day.
I thought they can actually build on last season's success, release some fringe players, recruit new players and challenge City for the title until I heard about the resigning of Johnny Evans and I gave up on Manchester United. Based on the club's activity on the transfer market, they don't look ready to me. In my opinion, Arsenal looks more ready than Manchester United. Except they will have to sign another established center back and a striker before the transfer window closes to stand a chance.
Man United can attempt to assemble their team and attempt to contend for the title, but I don't believe they would pose much of a threat to City given the players they intend to bring into the team. They did well by replacing De gea with Onana, but no matter how excellent the goalkeeper is, he will still allow goals without a quality centre back.

TBH Arsenal are now looking like a purposeful club again, i love the manner in which they are going about their transfer business this summer, they are buying like a team that has the ambition of winning the EPL, this kind of mood has been missing around Arsenal for many years, but it was reignited after they came close to winning the league last season.

Having said that, whilst i don't think Arsenal are going to win the EPL next season, i think they are getting closer to winning it, and if they continue with this same drive and vision, they'll be champions again, sooner rather than later.

That's just my example because if you look at the current conditions, Madrid don't seem too interested in Kane and now Bayern are so intent on bringing this player.
Currently there is something interesting with the drama given between Kane and Bayern because Ange Postecoglu made a statement that was quite sure that Kane would still stay at Tottenham and survive the pursuit of Bayern.
Is this really going to be like before when City just gave up a few seasons ago? Bayern are still quite eager to continue to bid for Kane but currently there are still no real results for that and Bayern's movements are also actually still quite stagnant without much change.
As I said, ''Harry Kane needs to drop loyalty and add cruelty to save himself''. Harry Kane continues to receive a lot of attention from big teams. However, the possibility of the English striker leaving Spurs is very low, if not impossible. Transfer fee is a big obstacle. Harry Kane is the ideal striker, Erik Ten Hag wants him at MU, and Bayern is very enthusiastic. But everything seems so complicated. Tottenham's position is that Harry Kane is not for sale. Because they know that if they lose an iconic player, the club's reputation will be reduced.
It's not the first time Harry Kane has gotten a lot of attention from other teams and had the desire to sign him, but at the same time we've never heard anything coming out of him saying he wants to leave Tottenham or anything like that.

He seems to follow what Tottenham decide, when Tottenham want him to stay he will be happy to stay. When Tottenham intend to sell him then he will accept it.

You are right, a great desire must come from himself, he can rebel if he wants to leave. But he is still in a situation in his comfort zone, and does not want to be released from it.
As I said earlier that for this Kane was too passive so that when many clubs wanted him to join especially with his contract running out he still did not really budge on the grounds that he only wanted to focus on the remaining contract.
In this case the decision he made was not wrong but the problem with statements like that made him seem to lose momentum to leave and in the end stayed at Tottenham as his club while making Tottenham feel a little calm because they set a high price no problem with Kane's condition like this.

Kane is a great player, things like that are often heard but when someone is not too concerned with trophies and only focuses on what he has at the moment especially when there is an opportunity I think it is something that is not very good and that is happening for Kane now.

€40 Million offer by Chelsea is good enough, it's crazy if Manchester United really want to sell him for €80 Million because they don't want to lose their money. It's better for Manchester United to release Maguire to join Chelsea before Pochettino change his mind.

This could be good for Maguire too, maybe he just not comfortable playing in Manchester United, if he can play very well in other team, this would be very interesting.

I don't think there are not any Primer League teams interested for signing Harry Maguire but highest transfer fees offer from Manchester United make it difficult for signing Magurie. West Ham United linked as serious teams want to sign Maguire but he has announce about loyal with Manchester United and stay until his contract over although can't guarantee with regular position next season. Its difficult position for Harry Maguire right now, after loss position as captain teams, he has chance loss position as regular player for next season.
Actually, Harry Maguire have looking for new teams who guarantee with more minutes playing although not participants in Champion League, Chelsea is the best option for him but he need to ask Pochettino about chance as regular player or not.

West Ham actually did want to sign Maguire but they are insisting on a loan move at the moment and Manchester United are only bent on a total sale. They brought Maguire’s valuation down to £50m but every club that are approaching are actually wary of a complete buy because it might turn out to be a bad buy. United on the other hand truly want to get rid of him totally, Maguire is still a decent player but I think the pressure at United as actually contributed to his career downturn. The stripping of the captaincy to me is still a great move for both player and club. Right now with Chelsea’s Fofana out for probably a year it will be ideal for club to actually move on to maguire but just like WestHam United they would want a loan move and I don’t think Manchester United will actually love that.

Also, so far Manchester United still have not brought in a new goalkeeper to replace the main position of De Gea who left because his contract was not extended. With that, maybe Manchester United still haven't made any better preparations for next season. In fact, Manchester United next season must play in the Champion League which of course, at least preparing for the main players and reserve players must be a top priority. Because of course, with a tight schedule, at least it will require Erik ten Hag to rotate frequently to maintain the fitness of his main players as well.

Manchester United clear favorite to replace the departed De Gea is Andre Onana, although the deal has taken way too long which is typical Manchester United way, I feel it is done already because as at the time of these posts they have been reports from reliable sources that Onana is already in Carrington where he will have is medical sign papers and then meet up with the team in the US. With Onana arrival I doubt United would sign any more Goalkeeper again because the young Kovar has actually shown in the last two preseason matches most especially the one today against OLympique Lyonnias that he is ready to be a great back up keeper. He won the Czech Republic League last season and could save united the money they need to buy another goal keeper.

After Onana signing I think united will move towards Atlanta’s Rasmus Hojlund as his there number one priority for the striker role. United have actually offered players like Fred and Van De Beek in part of the deal for the younger center forward but Atlanta are looking for an outright sale for a fee close £70m. United on the other hand are looking at other options because they feel the fee is quite outrageous for a raw player like Rasmus Hojlund. So possibly next week we will see United direction in who to bring in

For starters, I think Manchester City are very much beatable at the moment based on the fact that they are rebuilding their team and some big names have left the club who we all considered instrumental to their success, but with them leaving this could be their only weakest team!

As for United, these guys sometimes just run out of ideas and their signings just don't make sense...and what's with this business of recalling players that left the club???
Its high time such transfers come to an end, btw i streamed the game between United and Lyon was really surprised to see Johnny Evans and I couldn't believe my eyes..what's the deal here ? Didn't he retire  Roll Eyes

The season has been 22/23 over since last June and EPL teams are the most active in this transfer window. Several teams compete with each other to bring in their newest recruits and I'm trying to take some of the newest recruits here. There are Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Alexis MacAllister, James Maddison, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mason Mount, and finally, currently the most expensive English player, Declan Rice. If from me from that list, I choose Mateo Kovacic as the best transfer so far because he joined the best team at the moment, namely Manchester City. His talent would be a shame to continue at Chelsea and with the ingenuity of Pep Guardiola I think he will be even greater. Who do you think is the best transfer so far and state why?

Actually, Manchester United are serious about releasing Harry Maguire in the current transfer market. It's just that no one really wants Harry Maguire yet. West Ham actually made an offer to Manchester United. But it wasn't an offer to buy Harry Maguire. But West Ham only made an offer to borrow the former Manchester United captain. And of course Manchester United immediately rejected the loan offer from West Ham. Because Manchester United don't want to lend Harry Maguire. But Manchester United want to release him in full. And the latest rumor is that Chelsea are also interested. But I also doubt that these rumors will come true.

Chelsea are currently looking and exploring the chances of getting Harry Maguire signed. Chelsea's defender Wesley Fofana has currently been rumoured to be Injured and won't be back early enough for the start of the Premier League. Chelsea are currently monitoring the situation to see if Harry Maguire can be a back up for the absentee ( Wesley Fofana )

Just exactly what Manchester United Legend Wayne Rooney has said about Harry Maguire, he needs to find his way out of the club because the Coach has already stripped the Captain armband off him which displays that he's not part of his future plans for Manchester United. The info is obviously clear.

Manchester United constitutes the exterior club that demands the services of good players, of whom Marcus Rashford is one. United's players are more seasoned and practical on the field than they appear. Marcus Rashford is a bright player, and he is one of the excellent strikers who should be kept at the club at all costs. He's still young and strong enough to play more games for Manchester United. Erik Ten Hag transformed his role into a more capable frontline, and as a force attacker, he most likely became acquainted with the entire region spots.
Manchester United is a giant football club in England and Manchester United was once a football club that was feared by several other clubs.
Marcus Rashford has been a player in attack for Manchester United and he has had some pretty impressive accolades.
But actually I really miss Manchester United's game when Wayne Rooney was still playing and captaining because at that time Manchester United really had a very perfect game.

No matter how things turn out today, Manchester United will never be the same as they were when Rooney was on the pitch because it was when they were still in a good position. When Rashford is on the pitch, the team plays well, hence his performance is another factor that aids the team's advancement. Some footballers have a negative impact on the team's performance while they are not on the pitch and I think  Rashford is one of those players, in my opinion, as evidenced by Manchester United's satisfaction with his contract extension.

The Manchester United team squad is in good shape right now, so I don't think they'll suffer like they did in the past when they lose to weaker opponents who can't beat them. I also think that when they compete in the Champions League next season, they'll take it much more seriously than they did this year because every team will want to reach the Final stage.

I also quite miss how Manchaster United won the Red Devils title, if I'm not mistaken when there was Rooney, Manchester United was really like his nickname and many were unable to be his opponents.
Although not the same, Rashford deserves his display contract, and indeed the day Rashford is increasingly mature in the game which makes Erick Ten Hag very satisfied, 359 times wearing Manchester United clothes with 123 goals and 68 assis, it is a pretty good acquisition and he is still old 25 years, of course that age is still quite young and very productive and has the potential to develop even better to strengthen Manchester United, he might be one of the legends in this Red Devils squad.
Last season does not mean they are not serious in winning the match, to find defeat even by a weak team, it's just that they have not found stability in every strategic position on the field, which makes it like a limp.

Another slow day in the transfer market. A lot of teams trying to play the long game until it becomes the final week and then it becomes frantic. There seems to be no bigger name to be traded than Kane at this point. Anyone else from the Premier League?

[....]

He's already at the tail end of his career so Maguire doesn't have the leverage to be dictating terms of his transfer or how he'll be utilized. He's only being considered by Chelsea as replacement for the injured Wesley Fofana.

Harry Kane has no desire to leave the club at this point; he wants to continue getting credibility in England; after all, he's a fantastic striker who has earned an extensive number of goals on the goal-scoring leader board. Harry Kane is Tottenham's most valued player, and he has an acceptable possibility of enchanting the frontline next season. The Englishman has been on the rise for some time, with Bayern Munich interested in buying him, but Spurs are demanding a large fee before they will listen to any prospective approaches. Ange Postecoglou, the new Tottenham Hotspur manager, has been appointed on a four-year contract. He will use his time at the club to ensure victory over their opponents.
Harry Kane's remaining contract with Tottenham has 1 year left and until now Harry Kane has not been willing to sign his new contract, I think with what happened to the Tottenham team that never wanted to develop, Harry Kane had to leave to improve his football career.
Now Harry Kane is still 29 years old and that is the most mature age for a football striker, now he has to determine his career, if he doesn't go to a better team now then his career will never develop again and he is the only top player who doesn't have a trophy for now.
