I still can't say for sure that will happen, but Mount has had a difficult time with Chelsea and has been under an incompetent coach. Currently he has not shown the maximum performance we expect. Pre-Season wasn't very exciting to watch, maybe for the Red Devils fans, something that was important to see Mason Mount's first game in a Manchester United shirt.

Mason Mount had a very good time in Chelsea. He graduated to the senior team from the Academy under Frank Lampard and from then he has had a good time in Chelsea. He had his best Chelsea experience under Lampard and it extended to the time of Thomas Tuchel. He played his best football under the German tacticians and he won some of his current titles. He won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, and FIFA world club with Chelsea.

Mount had his bad time just last season under Graham Potter. His last season was also marred by injuries which made him fall out of favor with the coach. The second coming of his benefactor Lampard didn't yield much result because he has already started having contract issues with the club. For me, I believe that he had a successful time in Chelsea. It is also too early to start judging the performance of Mount. He is still young and can perform for his new club.

Considering all the transfers we saw in the English teams and premier league, more than anything I'm waiting to see how Manchester City is going to start the next season because I think still Pep Guardiola and his players still got the best chance for the next season to win the premier league title.
However, Chelsea had some changes after they started working with their new coach but still, we can't make sure how they are going to perform in their new shape.

Manchester City is one of the teams that I am curious about for the next season. They are already quite successful and the team's staff was good. I want to see how they will succeed with new players. There is talk of an offer of 30 million euros for Riyad Mahrez, he can leave the team. There is still a lot of time for the season to start so many players will change Smiley

For now, not much movement has been made by Pep Guardiola even though they are also quite active in this transfer window. So far, only IIkay Gundohan has left for Barcelona. several other players, such as Riyad Mahrez, Kely Walker and Benardo Silva, are still being hunted by several top European clubs including Saudi clubs. it's just that, until now everything might still be just a rumor. several other names, such as Alvarez, are being approached by several clubs as options. although I'm not sure, that the rumors are true or not. however, if we have to measure the strength of Manchester City next season.
I still see it, that this team is still the strongest competitor compared to any club. neither in the Premier League, nor in the Champions League. As for the newcomers, I'm sure Pep wasn't wrong with his decision. so, don't be surprised if City can repeat winning as many titles as in the 2022/2023 season.

As for Chelsea, don't expect too much for the fans. if Pochettino can bring Chelsea to finish in the top 4, I think it's a successful achievement for him. because after all, next season the competition will be very competitive.
To be honest, I can't wait for the new 2023/2024 season to start.

I too am eager to see what Manchester City has in store for us and how they’re going to go about defending the title. I don’t know about them having the best chance of winning the trophy but I do know they’ve got a very good chance. Considering all the preparation and transfers, I’m willing to bet it would be an exciting season and Manchester City would have to step up their game if they want to win and retain the title. They would face some serious competition, that’s for sure. Although Pep seems more than capable to handle what is gearing up to be a really competitive season, he should be mindful of other clubs.
Right now, we can only hope that Chelsea sees the light under the management of this new coach after having been through a very dark and long tunnel.

Manchester City has the capacity and ability to defend the title in the 2023-2024 season. You don't need to doubt their quality and opportunities even though it is still possible for other teams to thwart them. Manchester City are still the favorites for the title next season, but I also think their dominance will very likely be broken if the other team actually takes every match to win.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pep Guardiola actually managed to win 4 Premier League titles in 4 consecutive seasons, that is absolutely incredible quality and dominance for the most competitive league in the world.

Well, Mahrez was getting into the main team less and less anyway, so I will say that this was expected. Al Ahly have shown interest in him and it is possible that they will leave City this offseason. Well, on the other hand, he can play for City under a contract for another two years. In this case, he need to evaluate how much he can guarantee himself a place in the main team in order to spend more time on the field, and not on the bench.

To be honest, I don't think he'll get a chance to wear a lot of jerseys. So I think 30 million is a lot of money for such a player Cheesy
In fact, it may be better if they transfer 1-2 players who will be in the main squad. It looks like it will be harder to achieve success in Europe this year

There won't be any changes at Manchester City. Despite the addition of a few new players, Manchester City's starting lineup will largely carry over from the previous campaign. Even though Riyad Mahrez is one of those players that excels in every game despite his age, he is unconcerned by it. I'm not sure if he accepted Al Expert's offer for less than $30 million.
I believe that Manchester City will reject an absurd offer from Al-Ahli as well. If Manchester City accepts the offer, it will infuriate all Manchester City supporters.
Since this lineup is already very powerful, I believe Riyad Mahrez should at least stay at Manchester City for a few more seasons. If this is changed, I fear turmoil in the lineup.

Pre season games are pre season games; they do not mean anything; and they are only used to build up each individual players fitness; build chemistry between players and prepare the team tactics ahead of the new season. I believe Mason Mount and the other guys performance will improve as the pre season games kick in.
That's true but the result from pre match will be also showing how fast mount could adapt with his new club. Mount needs a lot of time to do that. It can be seen from so many chances missed by him against leeds.
Manchester united fans are always focusing their attention on the mason mount. It's caused by ten hag has bought with a lot of price him. The Red Devil fans are putting their hope on Mason Mount to change the club for the better compared to last season.
Mount can show better progress in upcoming match.
I still can't say for sure that will happen, but Mount has had a difficult time with Chelsea and has been under an incompetent coach. Currently he has not shown the maximum performance we expect. As for preparations for next season, it will certainly not be easy to predict until we really see Mason Mount performance with the Manchester United core squad.
Considered not important maybe because pre-season matches are not of any note, but after all pre-season matches are adjustment matches for new players with new teams, although this is indeed not very important to pay attention to, but we can see and assess how new players adapt with a different playing style to the previous team, and those who can adapt quickly are the ones who have the opportunity to get better and develop rapidly in real matches next season.

Masson really didn't play well in that match, and that's a natural thing in my opinion because it can be called his first match with Manchester Unted, that's not a problem in my opinion, and that's a natural thing, but if you look again at Mount playing quite good, and yes we will see how next season Mount can play freely with the Manchester United squat.

So you assume Mason Mount did not grow well under an incompetent coach (Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter). So I will look forward to his debut with Manchester United under coach Erik ten Hag.
But if he is still in the same situation as he was at Chelsea, then it is not Tuchel and Potter who are incompetent, but the players themselves who are not so talented.

That's right.
We must realise that pre-season games are sometimes just a warm-up for some big clubs because there are other things to consider such as giving opportunities to some players who rarely get this time to take precedence over looking at the schemes.
This is one way for the coach to measure how ready the players are after a long holiday.
Don't take friendlies and pre-season tours too seriously because sometimes they can be tricky and an example might be Chelsea and Liverpool in the season that has ended this time.

Pre season matches are exactly like you noted. A warm up for clubs and also to test player capabilities and fitness. Big clubs could also use pre season games to field players who barely see some action during the season and new tactics could be formulated and developed at this stage.
Friendly games are a great way to test player fitness and readiness but I also think it shouldn’t be used to predict or determine whether a club would be successful during that season. One could play very well during the pre season games and end up playing poorly during the entire season.

Now the smallest example for the Manchester United friendly match yesterday alone is actually already visible from the composition of the players and the significant change in strategy Ten Hag in the first half and the second half which is different can actually be said that this is just like a simulation in the hope of getting something good for them to bring to the upcoming season so there is no need to be too serious about friendly matches and pre-season tours because this will not really determine anything.

Pre season games are pre season games; they do not mean anything; and they are only used to build up each individual players fitness; build chemistry between players and prepare the team tactics ahead of the new season. I believe Mason Mount and the other guys performance will improve as the pre season games kick in.

This season 35 matches he did and only won 3 goals and 6 assists but in this case there may be some considerations because for this season all Chelsea players are also under performance which allows this to be one of the reasons for Mount's decline in performance as well. but when he was bought at a price that is actually still quite expensive this time then inevitably he must try more in this case because it would not be very funny if he was not too adaptable to the price given by Manchester United.
This must still be proven and we still have to wait for how he does his first season at Manchester United.

Yes, I think Ashley Young is more suitable to continue his career in Serie A and return to Inter Milan or another club, I think the SPL can also be a good option because the league is not as hard and competitive as the EPL. But continuing his career at Everton is also a wise choice, at the age of 38 he is not alone in being the oldest player in the EPL there is Thiago Silva at Chelsea who is almost the same age as him.

There seems to be no official offer for Ahsley Young from the Saudi Pro League club, which is why she is still staying in the EPL. I think he will be in the plot to become a cover for young players at Everton and personal closeness with the coach makes Young will be trusted to motivate young Everton players. His experience and mentality are one of the logical reasons why Everton wanted to recruit him at a veteran age.
There is nothing wrong with staying in the Premier League even though Ashley Young is 38 years old. I think his performance last season was still very good so he managed to get 29 appearances for Aston Villa throughout the season. Ashley Young is an experienced player and that's what Everton were interested in signing him for, but he's not going to get worn out any faster now.

Ashley Young only has a 1 year contract with Everton which will expire on June 30, 2024. Everton might use him as an alternative to Seamus Coleman who is also 34 years old, but Young is not the oldest player at Everton or the Premier League. There are still players another who will almost turn 40 in October, he is also current Everton player, Andy Lonergan.

Coaches and teammates can help the adaptation process of a new player. If his new teammates don't like the new players, then they must be having a hard time in their new team. Lionel Messi is also having trouble getting his best form at PSG, that's also because his team-mates don't support his adaptation 100%.
It will be unfair that a club will still expect Messi's best form when everyone knows he has played well past his prime, and although he can still be significant in games, he can not be as good as he was when he played in Barcelona where he had his best form. He did not settle in in PSG because of what he complained about which was the club supporters. Messi for any team that signs him now will be a figure and not be as good as before, he will be signed because of the name he already has in the sport.

True, the adaptation process takes time. Every player has different qualities and they need different times to adapt well to their new team and friends. Not to mention if they don't really understand the coach's strategy and don't have a good relationship with their teammates. If during the adaptation period they don't get good support from their team mates, then of course these players need quite a long time to get into their best form.

There are some players who immediately fit into their new team and some who don't. Of course there are many factors that affect how fast or slow a player adapts, but in most cases I think the most important factor is the support of other players.
And I think it all depends on the personal qualities of the player himself... This is a professional sport and players regularly change clubs, teammates and coaches... Of course adaptation happens and there are probably psychologists in the team and a certain period for the player to adapt to the new club... But it seems to me that there is nothing difficult for a professional athlete...

Even though they are professional athletes, the adaptation problem really depends on their new teammates and coaches and game strategy. I remember Nunez having a hard time finding his form at Liverpool, Coutinho having a hard time finding his form at Barcelona, Hazard struggling at Real Madrid and all three players are professional athletes who have been recognized as star players.

Coaches and teammates can help the adaptation process of a new player. If his new teammates don't like the new players, then they must be having a hard time in their new team. Lionel Messi is also having trouble getting his best form at PSG, that's also because his team-mates don't support his adaptation 100%.

We sold flop players and now replacing them with quality and hurry players.. the old players will full of themselves because they didn't show any reason not to sell them, none of them could come up with any individual brilliance to win Chelsea games. I want Pochettino to kick off his era with back to back wins so he can build confidence in the new squad and use them effectively to win games. We shouldn't be settling for less as we'll get more disappointed doing exactly that.
In contrast to Graham Potter, who was unable to bench certain important players who were playing below par, Pochettino has accomplished a great deal already and has proven that he is a coach who can take full control and can take care of circumstances and govern the team to suit his style. Just a few weeks ago, he was hired, and what amazes me most about him is his decision to sell players who he has no plan for in the upcoming season. To have the guts to part ways with Havertz, Mount, and other players who felt the team was in their hands really demonstrates that he is not here to mess around; if they can't give their all, they should leave to make room for new players who are prepared to give their all. Pochettino's confidence as a coach will increase as well as the confidence of the club and the players if he can begin the season with a win.

I am not expecting Chelsea to start winning every game as soon as the league resumes but they will be much better than they were last season and gradually get back to winning ways again and competing against the top performing teams in the league.
I'm eager to see what Pochettino can bring to the club because I have complete faith in him to make a positive change. I'm hoping we can return to the top 4 and even compete for the title.

Chelsea will never ever try to sign osimhen. I will recommend the club to get mbappe rather than osimhen. Napoli's president already made another clarrification of the club will not let osimhen and kvarat to leave from the club in summer.
Osimhen will stay for another year. No chance for the new club to sign him as a new striker.

Chelsea has loss a lot of midfielders and defenders. The club needs to make fast movement to add more midfielder and defenders. The club was dealt a severe blow with the loss of Azpi as their captain.

In my opinion,?it will be easier for Chelsea to sign Victor Osimhen than Kylian Mbappe, recently the player has also hinted that if he was to consider playing for an English club it would be with Arsenal because he admires Arteta’s work and what he has done with Arsenal. On the other hand I feel Victor Osimhen fits in Chelsea’s style of play and will make an impact if he signs for Chelsea.

There were some strong reports of Kane being in the United's list but as of now nothing has progressed yet. Yes, Spurs might reject PL offers as selling Kane to rival is like making their way hard getting back into the title contender's list. Maybe that was also the reason why they rejected City's bid two years ago. Well, its Levy so you kinda expect such type of actions from him. Still I feel it wouldn't be hard for Man United to get back the player they seek from Bayern a season later but sure would require a huge fee for the move.
These speculations have gradually died down since the transfer window opened, I guess Manchester United are not agreeing with the amount Tottenham are demanding for his signature, the club still considers Kane as a very important piece in their plans for the coming season and have offered him and improved £400,000 a week wage to keep him. Could this be enough to convince Kane to extend his stay with Spurs or will he leave to a club where he can win trophies?

But yes, once again it was only a friendly match and of course, Erik ten Hag will also not take a big risk because the most important thing is, maintaining the stamina and fitness of the players is more important. Therefore, applying excessive pressure in pre-season like this would not be appropriate.
An opportunity for Erik ten Hag to see the potential of all the young players in pre-season including Mount.
Only three players included in the Manchester United squad were not played by Erik tem Hag. The three of them are Bishop (Goalkeeper), Collyer and Oyedele (Midfielder).

I agree on the importance of maintaining the fitness of every player from a friendly match.
With Mason Mount starting against Leeds in Oslo and being substituted at half-time it means that Erik ten Hag is not taking any chances on Mount.

Celsea should be challenging for the title next season and that's how they can get back the honor of the club. Chelsea isn't known for how they ended last season, they're known for winning. We aren't over expecting them to win the race but they should be in the conversation and be challenging other top clubs. It's better we're competing with the rest of the clubs then just settling for finishing top half of the table. . Pochettino isn't under any pressure but he should used this opportunity to mark his name in the premier league, this is his return and he should make use of the opportunity well.

I admire the moves and decisions Pochettino is taking at this early stages of his appointment to turn things around. He has successfully removed players who are not giving everything to improve the team and giving space for new recruitment to boost the strength of the team. I am not expecting Chelsea to start winning every game as soon as the league resumes but they will be much better than they were last season and gradually get back to winning ways again and competing against the top performing teams in the league.
I think Pochettino's arrival is a little different from previous coaches like Lampard and Potter. Pochettino has managed to take some of the best steps for Chelsea, selling several players who were unable to make a significant contribution to Chelsea's progress, this is a good move and I am impressed with some of the other options Pochettino has taken. Yes I agree, I myself would not expect anything significant from Chelsea in the Premier League next season, because obviously Pochettino is quite difficult to make a significant impact in some competitions. But at least there will be a little change from The Blues that they will show, this is good enough to start the progress of a club that is on the decline. I hope the fans can understand what a proud club they are, and don't expect anything significant in the Premier League next season.

But it remains unanswered whether those players were unable to contribute because they didn't have enough quality or whether they didn't have the right coach who understands how to make them play their best. He is making some decisions now and any new player that he is now signing will be under scrutiny and eventually it is Poechettino's responsibility that the team works again. A new start is good for Chelsea as everything is put back to zero and that ensures that nobody will abuse any excuses that are based on what happened in the past.

As for the fans I think they do have high expectations and that is quite normal. Otherwise they wouldn't be real Chelsea fans. They can fully concentrate on the Premier League and try to achieve the maximum there. Not qualifying for the Champions League would be a bummer.
