These days Liverpool seem interested in only defensive players.
Liverpool are more interested in improving their midfield rather than their defense, they have quite a lot of problems in midfield and i think that's where most of their troubles stemmed from last season (though they were also bad defensively). Liverpool have signed both Mac Allister and Szoboszlai, two very good (and young) midfielders, i still expect Liverpool to sign at least one more midfielder as well as a defender and a striker. Jurgen Klopp's team were unable to challenge City for the title last season, but i think they are going to do that next season, but City still remain favorites of course.

I believe Lukaku unwillingness to rejoin Chelsea has to do with the fact that he had to deliver for the club based on his huge sign on fee, he is expected to score goals consistently and any thing short of that won't please their fans, unfortunately Chelsea had lack a good striker for a long time, Abumeyang who ought to have been an option flopped and I don't think their new strikers Jackson and Nkunku will have an instant impact on the Chelsea being their first season in the club, personally I think Pochettino should include Lukaku in his plan I.e tactical formation and the fans should encourage him to give them his best by not putting too much pressure on him to deliver no doubt Lukaku is a very competent striker.
As Lukaku loan with Inter Milan comes to an end the timing for his return to Chelsea and incorporation back into the team practises looks appropriate. He has a contract with Chelsea thus he has an obligation to act professionally and help the squad out with his talents. The forthcoming campaign has promise and I predict Pochettino will keep honing the Chelsea team in order to assure a great start. Lukaku must seize this chance to move past any unresolved issues and show his maturity by re joining the team. Even though his comfort level may have changed it is still critical to recognise his connection to Chelsea and breaking his contract would create a completely different story.

Arsenal sold Xhaka to Leverkusen for 25 million euros. I think it was a very good transfer for Arsenal who wanted a change in the midfield.
Atletico madrid, on the other hand, added both cesar azpilicueta and çağlar söyüncü to their squad for free. In defensive terms, adding these players for free is a great success for them and we can say that they are strong.
Masoun Mount was transferred from Chelsea to United for 64.5 million euros.

But i think, maybe would be great if Granit Xhaka and Kai Havertz can play in one team because then, then i'm sure Arsenal's midfield will be very good. But yes, the composition like that seems cannot be realized because it looks like Arsenal also need to sell some players to be able to bring Kai Havertz in this transfer window. So, if Arteta prefers Kai Havertz over Xhaka, then it looks like Arteta next season will play even more attacking than last season, it's like planning to build a squad that is more aggressive in attack.

All coaches when in office of course the main goal is like that because it is impossible for a coach to want a setback for his team, as well as for Pochettino at this time who wants
This season the burden for him can be said to be big because after 2 failures in the previous coach there will certainly be a lot of attention for Chelsea and Pochettino next season.
Communication and mental improvement for the players especially for their young players is really very important in this case. When they manage to make some changes both in chemistry and spirit improvement then this will indirectly improve their performance but if this is still the same as before even if their possession is good like last season it still won't have any impact.
A big burden awaits Pochettino, since being appointed as the new Chelsea coach, he has been given the freedom to choose the player he wants. Chelsea also did not hesitate to spend big money to bring in players labeled stars. They also did not hesitate to let go of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount in order to be able to bring in the players Pochettino wanted.

Chelsea have high hopes for Pochettino due to the failure of his previous coach, Pochettino needs to make big changes to Chelsea appearance so he can compete in the top four positions. He must approach the players internally, the closeness of the coach to the players will create a harmonious atmosphere which will have a positive effect on their appearance on the field. Apart from having to choose the players according to his wishes, Pochettino needs to create good chemistry between the players, he must learn from Guardiola to form a team with a winning mentality.

The team is still new and there is a lot missing. Pochettino will try to fix things. It will be the goal of the championship or the champions league from the first year, but this is very difficult to achieve. Other teams have a team that is compatible with players who have been playing together for years.

He cannot complete all the deficiencies and has to accept it himself. Chelsea are not playing well, they need to fix that first. Of course, there are loss of points, but there is also playing good football and losing, there is also playing bad football and losing. First they have to play good football. Chelsea must first accept that the quality of their team is not very high and must create a playing style accordingly. Or he has to transfer many players to the team and it becomes a strong club. But financially this seems difficult.

I highly doubt that the Chelsea owners will accept another average season for Chelsea. I am sure they have defined ambitious goals and Pochettino's position as a coach is anything but safe and comfortable. He is now the coach exactly because they want someone who solves the problems and who brings Chelsea back to the top. That is why excuses and hiding behind past mistakes of the club won't help him. If they are not among the top six, I think there is a high chance that he will get sacked in this winter already. The standard talk like "we need time because we had to chance so many things" might work the first two or three months, but results will count pretty quickly.

These days Liverpool seem interested in only defensive players. Romeo Lavia is a young defensive midfielder who they are interested in recently. Other than that they are looking for some young centre-back transfers. But I don't see any rumours other than these. But I don't still think that they would close this window without signing a striker.

When a team is having good strikers in playing for them with poor defensive line, then the effort of the attackers will always be futile. Just like a striker is important in a team, a good defensive line is more important than that. You can’t have a poor defense and always be at comfort when winning or wanting to keep the game to a draw. When there’s a little error in the defense line, it could lead to a loss or even a draw in a match you thought you’ve already secured.
All positions should be balanced, which means they can do their best. A strong defense won't make them win if they can't score goals, and if they have a good scorer, they're not guaranteed to win if they have a fragile defense. Likewise with the midfield position, it is a very crucial position considering its role as a connector between defense and attack, if they don't play well then the game will look lame and even the opponent will be able to dominate.

Because Firmino has newly left the team and there is only Nunez left as a striker now. In case of an injury Liverpool can have serious difficulties. They had better find a good alternative to fill Firmino's place. I think they should sign a striker who is as skillful as Nunez at least. This would create some nice competition between the players to push them both to play better.

This depends on the formation the manager is trying to use for next season, if he has full hope on Nunez and some other wingers to help in the attack, he doesn’t need to play top 9 always. Nunez can do the job and I’m his absence, he can still use false 9 and still excel in the game. A striker is important, but even if they don’t sign any now, I think they’ll still do better next season.
Yes, it is workable, but the second option must be included in their plan. After all, the coach must have more than one scheme of play and cannot rely on just one player, which means he must have many options to work with. We all know anything can happen in football, we have to look at the worst case scenario, if something bad happens and there are no players who can be trusted then it's the same as showing that the coach is out of options. Things like this should not happen.

Xavi didn’t need too much time to give Barcelona a turnaround, Tuchel won the UCL with the same set of players Lampard said were not ready to compete. The entire idea of ‘trusting the process’ is a mediocrity mentality, which should be among small teams with lesser budget.
As a big club, you always have to demand high work rate from your players, and have a set vision plus a defined style of play.

I think Graham Potter made some tweak by bringing in some players like Enzo and Felix and he didn't make use of Aubameyang again that were favorite of Tuchel and when Lampard came around, it became a laughing gig for people that never like the team, even booed Boehly on why he brought Lampard as an acting manager and now Pochettino and when you look at all this managers and some previous ones they have had like Mourinho work with Tottenham. I don't know if there is this cordial relationship Chelsea had with reuse of Coaches but I hope to see Chelsea among the top teams by the beginning of the season maybe Pochettino will be a moving train for them.

Pochettino had his first conference in Chelsea and he promised to have the best results he can get however they asked him about Guardiola and he said Guardiola had enough tools for it, so if they give him what he need he can achieve something for Chelsea.
The thing about the conference was bout Lukaku, he said this player should return soon and come to his office and say hello, if he is still under contract with Chelsea.

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12916838/mauricio-pochettino-promises-to-win-in-first-chelsea-press-conference-as-he-puts-faith-in-owners
It's very natural for him to say something like this, but when he says that he can when he has enough tools, for now Pochettino actually has more authority in my opinion because seeing from his actions when he came, he has been given high authority to overhaul the team he will project for next season.
There are currently rumors about Chelsea wanting Dybala and actually it's quite easy if Chelsea can activate Dybala's release clause of 12 million at Roma, but there are other options too at the moment if they are serious about this player because Roma also want Ziyech for this season after failing to go to AlNassr. This could also be more options for Chelsea.

Talking of Lukaku, it's a little complicated because there's so much drama in it that I'm still confused about how this drama will end because they will definitely be very difficult as long as the negotiation process continues.
Romelu Lukaku without doubt is a big player who's capable to face any defense anyday and still out a great performance which one quality that is not possessed by all strikers.
However, I think Pochettino should allow him stay at Inter Milan or better still move to another club because from what we've seen so far, Lukaku wouldn't be happy to rejoin the Chelsea squad and if there's no other option other returning to Chelsea, he'll return but not play for the badge of the club.
Lukaku's performance is unpredictable, because sometimes his performance is very impressive but in the following season his performance has dropped dramatically and this is not just happening once because looking at the track record at several previous clubs he was very good at Everton but failed at Chelsea and Manchester United, then he also returned very brilliant at Inter and failed again at Chelsea in the following season so this is still difficult to predict Lukaku's performance.
Regarding him at Inter for Chelsea he could have released it but until now the tug of war over the price seems to be still going on because there is still no match about this.

You are right, As there is still a lot of time before the transfer period ends. Hence, several more changes can be seen within Chelsea's squad. However, the main weakness of Chelsea's squad was not their players last season. Their match strategy was not good. If coach Poch's match strategy is good then maybe better performance can be expected from Chelsea. Another important point is that Chelsea will not play in the Champions League or Europa League. So they can fully focus on the Premier League. I would say everything will depend on coach Pochettino.
So far I won't be overly impressed with the few players Todd will bring in before management makes anything significant to his game. Bringing in several good quality players is not an obstacle for Todd, but if in the end it doesn't change management in it I think it will be difficult for Chelsea to experience change, because we all know that management cannot build chemistry with players, even quality players. With the arrival of Pochettino I think Chelsea have the opportunity to get a change going forward, we can see with some of the big maneuvers he has done. But in my opinion, no matter how big a step Pochettino takes, if management does not give Pochettino the freedom to manage Chelsea, then it will be the same and will be in vain and it is unlikely that Chelsea will change.

I wonder how things have changed this much about Joao Felix for Atletico Madrid. Not a long time ago Simeone didn't seem to be a fan of him. Atletico Madrid were even thinking of selling him for around 50 million euros as far as I can remember. But now the situation is the opposite. Now he has become a more indispensable player for his team.

According to news Atletico Madrid even want 100 million euros for him to think of selling him to any team. PSG and Milan have been the rumoured teams with him recently. But after hearing about the price I don't know if any of them would be keen on signing him that much. Maybe a loan option would be okay depending on Atletico Madrid's plans for him.

I was also very surprised at this news. It is not right to explain this with inflation, because there has not been such a serious increase in the football market in the last 6 months. However, the number of quality football players above a certain level is very small. Therefore, they may not have wanted to lose Joao Felix on the cheap. Of course we all know that Joao Felix doesn't fit Diego Simeone's game system. If Diego Simeone continues to be Atletico Madrid's coach, Joao Felix may find himself less in the starting 11 of Atletico Madrid next season.

Inflation? What does inflation have to do with it? Do you mean because energy prices are rising lol?

Atletico Madrid is doing what every club would be doing when they are about to sell a player that they bought in the past for far over 100 million. It is normal that they are now trying to talk the price up and say that they won't sell him below this number or that number. It is also part of the sales strategy when Simeone now out of a sudden says how much he likes Joao Felix. This is so obvious, but when they get a decent offer they will sell him.

I don't think Pochettino will be able to build a title-worthy team in such a short time. Chelsea were not in the top 10 of the points table last season. Their performance was poor. The state of the party was shaky. Such a team needs time to strengthen and bring stability in performance. Next season Chelsea will be aiming to possibly qualify for the Champions League. And qualifying for the Champions League will also be challenging for Chelsea. Because there are several teams better than Chelsea in the Premier League right now.
Qualifying for Champions league is already impossible for Chelsea because Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle United are active in the transfer window, unlike Chelsea where they let their good players joining other clubs. Chelsea performance in this season might be similar like the previous season where all of the players don't have connections. Chelsea's owner need to keep Pochettino for the next season, changing a new manager might affect the current players' chemistry.
I wouldn't say that qualifying for the Champions League is impossible for Chelsea. But it will be much more difficult for Chelsea. Chelsea is a Renowned team in the Premier League. And they have the potential to be in the top four of the points table if coach Poch is able to stabilize the team. But so far it looks like we won't see Chelsea in the top 5 of the table. Because Manchester City, United, Liverpool Arsenal and Newcastle are all stronger teams than Chelsea.
Everything and everyone starts from scratch this season. Some things could be an advantage for Chelsea. Not playing any European competition means they can focus 100% of their resources on the Premier League and the FA Cup and maybe the League Cup. I know they would have preferred their situation to be differently, but they have to make the best out of it and having less games could be used as an advantage. Since the transfer period is going on for so much longer, I wouldn't dare giving a prediction of how they will be doing in the coming season. There could still be several transfers.

Pochettino is a good coach who wants the betterment of the Chelsea team to begin to win matches as they were previously during the era of Tuchel as the head coach of Chelsea.
Pochettino must keep in mind that the outcomes of football games are not always predictable. A match that a team was expected to win may end up being a lost match for the team. In the Premier League, things are not always rosy at the start of every new season for a new coach. No matter how skilled a coach you are, it takes time to assemble a team.

Pochettino is merely setting a pace for himself that he cannot match in the Premier League. He ought to lower his expectations and exercise caution in his interactions with Chelsea's players.
Chelsea hasn't easily won a game in a very long time. Giving Chelsea's fans and owner hope that the team will undergo a significant turnaround would not be a good thing if what is expected doesn't turn out as predicted

The end of an era

One last man standing officially parted ways with Manchester United. For David De Gea manchester united is his home and during his 12 years of service for the red devil he also managed to present various titles and he is also the only player who won the last EPL title in season 12/13. Surely the memories with Manchester United for more than a decade will be difficult for him to forget and now he must be prepared to say goodbye to the Red Devils fans who have admired him. As a legend, the name David De Gea will always be heard at Old Trafford and this is his decision so that Manchester United can regenerate better with new players.

I think, David De Gear is among the best goalkeeper in the whole world and Manchester united will going to miss his performance next season because it will be difficult for the team to get a potential goalkeeper like David De Gear in this summer. With the 12 years David De Gear has spend with Manchester united, he has brought positive changes in the area of goalkeep and he has saved Manchester united from many matches that made Manchester united to embraced some titles. I don't think, it will be easy for Manchester united to cope without David De Gear next season because Manchester united defenders understood him very well and their cooperations is too strong.

That's right, of course the figure of David De Gea will never be replaced by fans of the red devils and while defending Manchester United he also made several achievements for the club and even individual awards. It's been 545 appearances with Manchester United and I'm sure David De Gea is very proud because he joined Manchester United since the era of Sir Alex Ferguson, who was still a coach at that time and it doesn't feel that long he has become part of the Red Devils. I think that for next season Manchester United will likely have enough trouble keeping its defense from conceding goals because even last season David De Gea also won the Golden Gloves and that just proves how important David De Gea's role is.

Now seeing that Lukaku has ended his loan period with Inter Milan, it is appropriate for him to return to Chelsea and return to training in the Chelsea squad. He has to give his professionalism to the Chelsea team because he is a Chelsea player who is still under contract. For now I think Pochettino will continue to make improvements in the Chelsea squad to get back into a squad that is really capable of giving a good push at the start of next season.

Lukaku has to forget all the bad memories and he has to return to the team, that's the maturity he can show for now. Even though he is no longer comfortable at Chelsea, he is still a Chelsea player and if the contract is terminated, maybe it will be a different story.

But that is exactly what he wants Chelsea to sell him or terminate his contract, it's just that Chelsea don't want to do it they are still waiting if there is a better offer from Inter Milan. Chelsea spent 112 million when signing him and now they're willing to let him go for 40 million meaning Chelsea is ready to lose more than 50% I wonder why Chelsea didn't let him go to the Saudi League when there was an offer.

Underestimate- nothing

Chelsea spent 112 million when signing him and now they're willing to let him go for 40 million meaning Chelsea is ready to lose more than 50% I wonder why Chelsea didn't let him go to the Saudi League when there was an offer.

Since he wants Chelsea to sell him, they should do so, and aside from being a club that provides entertainment, they are also businessmen, so they are waiting for a better offer, and since Inter Milan has enjoyed Lukaku's presence, they should just go for him, and Chelsea loosing such a large sum of money just to let him go is not a good business, and I wouldn't advise anyone to go to Saudi if it wasn't for the money.

Yes, Lukaku has been included in the list of players that will be sold by Chelsea in this transfer window. Well, it's very natural if he really reluctantly returns to Chelsea or to say hello to Pochettino. In the previous few weeks there have been several offers that have come to Chelsea regarding their interest in Lukaku one of which is a team from Saudi Arabia and Ac milan but now there seems to be no further development of the two teams in the signing of Lukaku.

On the one hand, only Inter Milan is the leading team to buy Lukaku again. But they can't afford to buy him at a price of 40 million and this is a big reason Lukaku's status is still unclear until now. But as a player's professional attitude, of course he must listen to all the direction of the Chelsea management because he is still under contract with Chelsea.

Since the list has been made to sell Lukaku and others, and Chelsea wants to do a serious sorting for their players, because last season was a mess, and now they are doing everything possible to be redeemed, which is good, let's wait and see where lukaku ends up, and I'm sure chelsea will want to consider the club with the best offer considering the money used in signing him, personally I don't buy the idea of any player going to Saudi If it weren't for the money, and 40 million has become a lot of money, I believe Lukaku still has some fire in him.
