This is slightly wrong; why do i say so? Liverpool generally had a poor and inconsistent season; but their attackers did not underperform, instead Liverpool struggled in midfield and Defense and Klopp has been wise to work on those weakness in the summer transfer window.

There is no point in talking about Mbappe this season he will stay with PSG for one season Liverpool don't need to waste time to negotiate and also the Premier League is not the main target of Mbappe. I think, Liverpool management are still working seriously to get a good striker who can join Salah to improve the team in the area of scoring goals in every match next season which is the desire of the Liverpool management. Real Madrid are very ready to sign in the Mbappe in this summer, so that he can occupy the position of Karim Benzema so that there will be hope of winning many titles next season that will give their coach and fans joy through out the tournaments.
