The work of the last two managers at Chelsea has really made the job of rebuilding and making Chelsea a very competitive club once more to be a very big task. It was started by how clueless Graham Potter was with his style and ultimately ended with Frank Lampard's gambling style of of football.
However I have a strong opinion that Mauricio Pochettino will definitely make everything work again at Chelsea. He has the potentials to turn the club's fortunes around I believe he'll definitely do a good job at Chelsea come next season and beyond
Pochettino's task next season to make and change the Chelsea team for the better will not be easy even though some people may believe that Pochettino has the ability to make Chelsea better. Because apart from the players who have to follow Pochettino's own direction and style, the team must also provide better players for Chelsea so that there will be more significant improvements for Chelsea next season through their new coach.

The contract of David de Gea with Manchester United is going to end this month, and the club is expected to sign new contract with Jordan Pickford. But the news is still not confirmed yet that if he will sign the contract with them or not. The Manchester United team's coach Erik ten Hag is highly interested to hire Jordan as the new goal keeper of the club, and if Jordan agrees to sign the contract then the team will finally have a better goal keeper in their team.

I have heard that they have offered £45 million for Jordan, but Everton club is demanding £50 million for the goal keeper to be transferred in the United team. I'm pretty sure that Manchester United will finally sign the contract with Jordan Pickford because they are doing their best to have him as their new goal keeper.
Yes, his contract is ending soon but so far I still haven't heard about his contract extension, now David De Gea's contract has less than two weeks left and there are still no rumors circulating about an extension regarding his contract. De Gea has been in talks with the club for months over a possible deal, but so far nothing has been clear. Yes, I think it is unlikely that Ten Hag will give him a contract extension and maybe now the management is looking for a new candidate to replace him. Now reports linking United with another goalkeeper are increasing and England star Jordan Pickford has opened the door to leaving Goodison Park and it is reported Manchester United are preparing a significant bid to sign him. 45 million euros will reportedly be the purchase price offered by the Ten Hag squad to be able to bring him in. I think this deal is imminent and Manchester United has a great chance now that, the Toffees are in need of a cash injection.
If Ten Hag had wanted to renew De Gea's contract it would have been settled long ago, but it seems Hag is now more interested in Jordan Pickford and that mean a new club for De Dea. And since the price difference between what United is offering for Pickford and the amount Everton is demanding for isn't that much, there is high chances that United will have a new Keeper for the season

Well, the problems started originally with Graham Potter. His invitation was probably the key mistake because before Chelsea he had no big clubs and the result was average in Chelsea itself at first, but after the purchase of star players it became even worse. Apparently with the arrival of new stars Potter finally lost control.
The invitation of Lampard was also incomprehensible, because before that he had been sacked just because of poor results.
Graham Potter can't be blamed for Chelsea's slump, but he is responsible for not doing a great job for his team. Chelsea experienced a decline in performance not because of Tuchel, Potter and Lampard, but I think the truest reason was the politicization of the war between Russia and Ukraine which caused Roman Abramovich to sell Chelsea to Todd Boehly.

Poccetino has experience working with the most star players, so at least he shouldn't have a problem with discipline. The main thing is to show results in the beginning to return everyone's confidence that Chelsea are still a top club.
Chelsea have been a top team in the Premier League for a long time, even before Manchester City dominated the Premier League in recent seasons. Chelsea just need time and patience to build on the mentality of a team that is breaking down so I think they are on the right track when they manage to bring in quality players as well as an experienced coach.

So, it's now about pointing out the goalkeeper's faults, I hardly see this here maybe it's because of the resting time...lol. Frankly, there is no perfect teammate, as much as many think that David de Gea has enough faults, you should also think of how good and connecting the entire team is. If the team is not good enough to the point that goalkeepers would be more pressured, there is no way you will not see many faults.

For me, Man U should work more on players, the stand-off between it and David de Gea is for a reason. Well, it's a good time spent with both the thick and thins moments in the club for 12 years. Let's see what Jordan Pickford would do if eventually signed.
Lol it's true that it's very rare that we talk about the mistakes of a goalkeeper, that's probably because indeed the things that make them lose a lot of goals are also because of the mistakes of the defenders which then the defenders who get a lot of attention. Because if for example the goalkeeper is facing 1 on 1 then the opponent is the favorite and considers it normal when the goalkeeper fails to make a save. It would be a different matter if it was an easy ball which the goalkeeper failed to save, as happened to Karius, whose career had to be ruined due to a fatal mistake made in a very important match at that time.

I think as long as they hire a good manager and they keep on being willing to spend money on it, that means its going to be easy thing to handle and we are going to end up with a good Chelsea eventually. Thats not going to be easy to do in a single year, but that's the right road map for the team. Any team that has a big deep pocket president and a great manager will end up becoming a good team eventually. They have one of those already, unless it changes and president stops spending money, that part is done, so get a great manager as well, pay whatever you have to and then yo will do better eventually as well. I think they have a bright future, a top 4 team through and through. It will just take some time to get there.
We've seen from before during the Potter era that Chelsea spent a lot of money with large numbers but has that made Chelsea any better? In the end Potter was fired even though many players were bought but did not match his expectations, even with the owner of a deep pocket it is not a guarantee that it is only good to push the team better but to be better in a team it returns to the management and coaches who do nya if they manage to fix what is the problem of the team then it will slowly get better and back on track, now look at Pochettino to do it he already has some line-ups for next season so there we will see how he does his tactic .

At least Poccetino can become a better coach and bring Chelsea a title for next season because I'm sure Poccetino can be a better coach than Frank Lampard.
The worst Chelsea coach in my opinion is Frank Lampard and I really regretted Chelsea's appearance when under this coach.

I don't know what the Chelsea management thought so that they recruited Lampard.
Hopefully it will be the last time he manages Chelsea because I really want to see the strength of Chelsea back to how it was a few years ago.

In general, Poccetino will have a lot of work, but he knows how to work, he has character and he will manipulate himself, so maybe he will get something good this season, at least to return to the top five teams in the league, it will already be a success.

One of the problems that occurs is that managers are constantly changing. Remember they are managed by three different managers in one season so that the balance of the team is ruined. The selection of managers is also very poor, they don't seem to have better criteria. They seemed to be in a hurry. Another view is that they don't have a great No. 9 striker. Kai Havertz appeared unstable, Aubameyang was also rarely trusted by coaches. Let's wait for this season's transfer what Pochettino will do. Of course they have a lot of money ready to be used for shopping.

I agree, saying that David de Gea failed as goalkeeper for Manchester United, in my opinion, is not quite right, but I prefer to say that in his last season he was not able to perform optimally and made several fatal mistakes which resulted in losses for the team. But overall, as long as he's been in a Manchester United shirt I can say he deserves a lot between the sticks and that's not a mistake.
After all, David de Gea managed to show the best that is in him, especially during bad times, as you said during Ole's coaching, how he struggled in the defense of Manchester United.

Everyone does mistakes and De Gea does too but I don't think his contribution towards the club can be easily forgotten. He has pulled off lot of saves and I don't know but I think there will be points when other clubs interested in him but he still choose to play for United saving them lot of costs going out and looking for new goalkeeper and let alone secure it. Yeah he did mistakes but I don't think he deserves the sticks at all despite the contribution he made.

Right now, if you ask me there are only few goalkeepers that have been that committed to a club for such a long time. So in my books, despite the mistakes De Gea made I still consider him as one of the legend of the club.

So, will David de Gea get a contract extension or will he really leave? Considering that David de Gea's contract will also expire at the end of this month, and so of course if David de Gea does not get a new contract then David de Gea will leave on a free transfer. What's more, David de Gea's age is no longer young but indeed, at 32 years old, of course David de Gea can still play at other clubs. But indeed, if Manchester United don't extend his contract then Manchester United will indeed make an overhaul of the squad, and I think that's good too.

The contract of David de Gea with Manchester United is going to end this month, and the club is expected to sign new contract with Jordan Pickford. Pochettino must work hard and immediately choose his squad. Chelsea have indeed been reported to be releasing several players in the transfer market this season. and of course Pochettino must carefully select players, or will bring in several more players accompanied by the sale of players who are of interest to other clubs.
however Pochettino has a huge job to rebuild this team. even with so many players they were tough last season. Pochettino will need a lot of time to work things out. so there is no need to expect too much at the start of the season later on Chelsea.
You are right that don't expect too much from Chelsea next season because the repair process will take time. It's no wonder that this initial process doesn't show maximum results. Pochettino was faced with quite a lot of Chelsea problems so that with his current capacity any coach would not be able to if he was required to improve as a whole. Give Pochettino time to finish his job, both Chelsea fans and owners must be patient with this process and don't rush to change coaches just because Pochettino can't fix the team in a short time. Like it or not, everyone has to realize because Chelsea's condition is really messy.

Indeed there is a need of making the squad better in this summer. I have talked about a need of a striker only but it isn't the only problem in this team of course. Besides they have actually signed Nkunku for the attacking line which would be a really nice improvement. But I don't know if they are planning to make do with this about striker transfer.

Apart from that I hope another thing not to happen. You know they signed Werner as well from Leipzig but there was no impressive performance left in him after coming to the Premier League. He was a great scorer in the Bundesliga. I hope the situation with Nkunku doesn't become similar to that as well.
They have a lot of failed purchases and it's just a waste of money they do. Of the many players they have brought in this season, how many players can make a big contribution? I can even say that not a single player has contributed this season.
Like it or not, they have to reshuffle, unless their new coach can convince that the existing players he can rely on and give something he wants with the strategy he has. But would he be able to do that, if not much change? I wouldn't say I could and I wouldn't say I couldn't either.

For example Mudryk has been brought here for 70 million euros. He played in quite many games with Chelsea this season but couldn't make a big contribution. I don't know maybe he has had adaptation problems but we would see whether it was really the reason by the beginning of next season. I agree that they couldn't benefit from their transfers very much after all the money spent.

Pochettino's job isn't going to be easy while trying to find the right game plan for this team. He will need to do an extra effort to improve the morale of the players as well after having a nightmare season. I'm at least feeling confident about he can't be worse than Potter.  Grin  I think they will be in top 4 race if they make a decent start and keep a good form for a while.
Despite the fact that Mudryk hasn't gotten as much playing times as people who had known his football prowess on the pitch before he arrived at Stamford Bridge would wish, I'm of the opinion that Mudryk is a great talented player that still possess the potentials to pick up himself and become the great footballer many of his folks would wish to see him be.
I think the player's major problem last season was the fact that he wasn't familiar with the kind of playing style that was adopted by the managers of Chelsea last season. Chelsea now has a new manager in Mauricio Pochettino and hopefully his style of play will give Mudryk that freedom to operate as an attacking midfielder that he is.

and this is a big sign of potential troubles for Manchester United because if they make the mistake of signing the wrong goalkeeper,
The worst thing that will happen to Manchester united is signing a wrong goal keeper, De Gea made some silly mistakes in the season that ended which really affected Manchester united, if they didn't sign a experienced goal keeper, then they are going to end the season in the position which they don't expect.
Wait what? are you kidding here?
It's ridiculous to say Manncehster United made the wrong signing in goalkeeper now that Manchester United have tasted De Gea's ability even more than a decade lol.
This season he has indeed made many blunders but look at what happened last season where he always struggled under the sticks of Manchester United and made some good saves from opponent attacks and even from attacks by his own teammates which were occasionally seen during the Ole Era at that time.
Indeed, this season he has made some fatal mistakes, especially in important matches, but in this case I think saying they (Manchester United) made the wrong signing in goalkeeper is a mistake because it's true that after 12 years De Gea has always been the first choice, it's clear that it's ridiculous to say it's a failure.

And now Mauricio Pochettino is the new Chelsea coach who has to solve all the problems that exist at the club. And rearranging all the players in the team is very difficult. because there may be a lot of players to let go to streamline the team to make it more manageable. then bring in some of the players needed. And I personally see the problem that Chelsea have not only up front. but on all fronts. there are weaknesses behind and in front. So I feel if Mauricio Pochettino can fix Chelsea in such a short time then he is really an extraordinary coach. because I think the problem that Chelsea have right now is the most difficult compared to other clubs in the Premier League.

Nice move, hopefully Chelsea will return to its previous form or even better. The club disappointed its fans too much lately..
No problem. Chelsea has another chance to perform better this season as the club will be fully focusing on rebuild the club again. Pochettino has been trying to create a good composition for chelsea right now.
I trust him right now. In my eyes if pochettino is far better compared with lampard or even potter. As long as pochettino can repeat his performance when totenham reached its prime and almost won EPL and i think that chelsea can give the first trophy for pochettino.
City will always become the main competitor next season. I hope that all of players targeted by chelsea will able to go to the chelsea.

Honestly this will be a very nice deal. I feel happy whenever I am viewing matches and I see the club sponsored by stake. I will automatically want the club to win. Grin
It appears to me that I am working for both stake and the club. The last time I followed up, Stake was sponsoring Watford and after a few season they started sponsoring Westham also. But we all know that Chelsea is much more a bigger club and have much more exposure than the other former two clubs.
Stake will have everton and chelsea next season. It sounds good.
With the news of Stake having talk with Chelsea to be the official shirt sponsor of the club, it seems everything is positively changing for the good at Chelsea at the moment.
The club's new manager is manager that's very enough to change the fortunes of the club around and I hope he goes on make Chelsea a club to watch out for once more

If we look at Chelsea, all the players have problems in that team so their contribution is very minimal and causes the team to be so bad in the 2022-2023 season, because of course if they are able to make a good contribution Chelsea will not end up being ranked outside the European competition zone, all players are expensive what they brought in was in vain, whether for the new season whether there will be very significant changes that their new manager can make quickly because of course if it is slow in bringing changes to this team it will be left behind by other teams so that what is targeted is not achieved and Chelsea again can not play in European competition, not a good thing after Chelsea has changed into a big club. Everything Pochettino does will be in the spotlight of the media and Chelsea fans, he was quite good when he was manager of Tottenham but it will be different at this club.
In the last season, Chelsea did not have any improvement and even continued to experience a decline in performance throughout the season. even when they brought in more players in the second half of the transfer market, it didn't bring any change to the club. Even at that time, Potter, who was still a coach, complained about the difficulty in managing the playing minutes of all the players owned by Chelsea. because the number of players owned by Chelsea was too much at that time.

De Gea has been at Man Utd since he was a very young man. I think he joined when he was 19, that’s 12 long years. I don’t think many foreign players stay at one club that long. Maybe he needs a new challenge, perhaps he wants to go back to Spain. I think Man Utd fans should respect his service to the club and wish him well, whatever he decides to do. The decline of Man Utd since Fergie left has nothing to do with him.

That's quite a long time, but every player has the right to leave the club. I think it's not because he's bad but of course he wants to find new experiences. But right now it's all just rumors. Indeed, until now there has been no agreement for De Gea's new contract which expires in July.
The issue seemed to have been anticipated, it looked like they were closing in on the Inter goalkeeper.  He is Andre Onana, he is able to perform brilliantly with Inter Milan in the Italian League. It is rumored that he is worth 50 million Euros. That is, it is not too expensive. Onana has also played for Ajax, so it is likely that he will not be difficult to adapt.
