This season he has indeed made many blunders but look at what happened last season where he always struggled under the sticks of Manchester United and made some good saves from opponent attacks and even from attacks by his own teammates which were occasionally seen during the Ole Era at that time.
Indeed, this season he has made some fatal mistakes, especially in important matches, but in this case I think saying they (Manchester United) made the wrong signing in goalkeeper is a mistake because it's true that after 12 years De Gea has always been the first choice, it's clear that it's ridiculous to say it's a failure.

I agree, saying that David de Gea failed as goalkeeper for Manchester United, in my opinion, is not quite right, but I prefer to say that in his last season he was not able to perform optimally and made several fatal mistakes which resulted in losses for the team. Pochettino's job isn't going to be easy while trying to find the right game plan for this team. He will need to do an extra effort to improve the morale of the players as well after having a nightmare season. I'm at least feeling confident about he can't be worse than Potter. Grin

I think the first major task or assignment of Pochettino is to trim Chelsea squad and rebuild the team starting with many young stars but few old players while allowing the redundant players to leave now that the likes of Kante, Koulibaly, Havertz, Abumeyang etc would not be in his future plan Pochettino has a lot of work in the rebuilding process of the club, however Chelsea fans shouldn't expect an instant impact it will definitely that some time before the team begin to become formidable and compete with other top team it also an advantage for the club not playing in European competitions it will allow Pochettino to remain focus on way fixing the team.

for me actually chelsea doesn't need to change coaches because chelsea has changed coaches several times but in fact there is no change like Lampard has also given the best strategy for chelsea but hasn't given any performance. from what I see Chelsea need new players who can make a strong contribution at Chelsea.
and yesterday Lampard didn't need to be replaced and focused more on new players to be active in the transfer market and looking for the best players to strengthen Chelsea's defence.

I'm still not sure about Chelsea in the summer even though the coach has changed but the Chelsea players need to adapt to the new coach.
