I anticipated Brighton would present a challenge for Newcastle, and I insisted that they must play both defense and attacking at once. I am hoping Brighton does not tie the score since they are already ahead by one goal and the score is already 2:1. Newcastle has five attempts on target and is applying pressure on Brighton, who is resolute, but they were unable to fend Newcastle off in the end.
And now is full time already  with Newcastle  winning 4:1 wow thats a good revenge for Arsenal, Newcastle still maintains there position, next season is going to be hot am very sure of that.

Given how Brighton played against Arsenal—more than I had anticipated, in fact—and their ability to easily win, I had the impression that they would be able to defeat Newcastle or at least draw with them. So, anticipating the Brighton vs. Newcastle game, I was able to judge the situation before the game and came to the conclusion that Brighton shouldn't have a problem with Newcastle if they were able to defeat Arsenal at the emirate stadium easily with 3 goals. However, as the game progressed, I observed that both sides were playing well, but Newcastle stood out for having several impressive attacks, which quickly caused me to reconsider Brighton's prospects of leaving the game with a draw. Brighton also played well, but their attacking capabilities lacked depth.

Newcastle really deserve to play in champions league next season, I can't just wait to see how their performance will be there. Now Newcastle next game is against Leicester which i can say it will not be easy match for them because Leicester team at this point, they are in relegation zone in premier league table and I may say Leicester will be ready to play their best may be they can escape the relegation and same applicable also to  Newcastle which also play  their best to win and not to miss next season champions league.

Newcastle deserved the win. Watching them at the beginning of the season I knew that they got what it took to be top four this season and I have not been disappointed. And this success so far we owe in part to their manager Eddie Howe for doing such a fantastic job. Give them three years and they will be winning things certainly not with Eddie but what is happening right now is the seed being sown.
Their performance tonight was incredible. Newcastle were at some point wanted to behave like Arsenal when they started messing up with their games, I almost lost hope on tem, however they were lucky enough to have won this game as they may likely be finishing the season in third position. Brighton Albion victory against Arsenal looks like an error, flogging Arsenal 3-0 and lost the game tonight to Newcastle is something I'm still trying to decod if actually it was same team that played against Arsenal.

If Newcastle had this performance from the start of the season they could get much better results and they could have a much better place in the league however since they are in third place in the table with 69 points, this team reached the main goal to get the ticket for the next champions league however if they had this performance from the start of the season they could even race for the title with Arsenal and Manchester City.

There is no need to expect too much because Newcastle has just started a new era managed to get a champion league ticket is the best achievement in the Premier League
And Newcastle still have to go through a few more steps to secure it because several other teams still have the potential to take over like Liverpool.
besides watching the fight for champions league tickets, the competition in the relegation zone is also very interesting at least 3 teams have to fight to get out.

Pep Guardiola without much talks, Pep Guardiola occupies the top for me, he's always being exceptional, he is who he thinks he is. ( A genius ). Mikel Arteta lacks depth but taking those youngins this far in the league was wonderful. He's been the best manager arsenal have had since Wenger.
I'm so much impressed with Unai Emery, though he has experienced the Premier League already, he's taken Aston Villa from relegation fighters to European Position fighters. Though, I'm quite mind blown not to see Erik Ten Hag on the list. Congratulations to whoever wins.
Without any doubt Pep Guardiola is one of the best coach in the world with available sources which are surely also have good impact on any team's performance he has done amazing job, but Newcastle United is also done impressive under Eddie Howe because no one was expecting performance like this from them in this season while in last season they were struggling, but now they are in top four which is surely never been easy even things were also not favourable for them but still they achieve historic success.

Mikel Arteta still needs experience even his approach was also good but near the end they lost their momentum and lost title which is surely sad but still they have done good performance in first 33 weeks of this season and lead the league table without any problem.

Newcastle turned into flashmode in the middle of the season but they had some hiccup in the ending but despite all that has happened, I am satisfied with their position on the table, they are still strong and no doubt, they will finish the season and have automatic place in the Champions League by next season, their spot is guaranteed, they need to win atleast one match from the remaining match, even if liverpool wins there remaining 3 matches, they may push Manchester United to lower but Newcastle is guranteed.

Arteta did what every manager would have done this season, but I think the players failed to put more effort at some point and Manchester City exploit that opportunity and became threat to Arsenal until they became the alpha and they dont want to stand down again. No matter what happen, Arsenal still remain the Goat of this season because we even had 2 players that were nominated for the player of Premier League season.

He brought in good players that have improved the quality of the play. I remember how almost last season they were in the relegation zone but see them now almost champion league material. They need more top players in their team and they must take advantage of the next transfer window.
The change in their condition after the new management from the top brass with his money is obviously very painful for this which of course makes this a good thing and a real threat for the big club.
This season they are definitely in the top 4 with their very good conditions like this and of course this should be a concern for the top 4 subscription clubs next season.

Brighton did play quite well and had more ball possession than Newcastle. But I give a thumbs up on the defense built by Newcastle. Even Brighton couldn't do much to penetrate the Newcastle defense. and in the final minutes the motivation of the Brighton players seemed to be dropping. and Newcastle scored 2 goals again in the last minute. And the final score of the match was 4-1 with a win at the hands of Newcastle. Newcastle really taught me that possession really isn't everything in football. but a solid defense is indeed something that every team needs to have if you don't want to lose. Brighton were too focused on breaking through the Newcastle defense and made mistakes in defence.

The moments when Newcastle scored the goals were perfect for them. The second goal in the fourth minute of extra time in the first half hurt Brighton a lot. Going into the break with being two goals down is never easy.

But as you pointed out Brighton had a lot more ball possession. The stats of this game are weird. While Brighton had 66% ball possession, Newcastle had 22 shots whereas Brighton only achieved to finish their attacks 8 times. Isn't this weird? With so much ball possession you would also think that Brighton a couple of more shots or shots on target, but no.

For Liverpool this win is bad news. They were hoping for Newcastle to fail in order to preserve their own chance to qualify for the Champions League somehow, but now it is all about Manchester United and how they will be doing.

Although Newcastle already have the lead from an own goal from the Brighton forward Deniz Undav, they still need to be careful of this Brighton team that embarrassed Arsenal in their last game. Brighton have most of the ball possession in this first half and they have really attacked the Newcastle defense, but Newcastle's defense is not easy to penetrate and they will struggle before they will be bale to score. The first half win is a good result for Newcastle.
It feels good to see that Newcastle United is already leading with 2 goals and this gives me an exciting feeling to see how the predictions are turning out in this match and I am sure Newcastle United will defend this goal till the end of this match.

Brighton squads on the other hand are trying to make equalizing goal but the Newcastle squad already have their backside on a lockdown that doesn't allow any possible score.

The game between newcastle and brighton was entertaining, i did not expect a large win for newcastle but they totally deserved it they were more dangerous and had more goal chances while brighton team had ball possession but thanks to newcastle solid defense they were unable to creat chances that's why they only managed to score one goal even though they had 66% ball possession.

Liverpool will be disappointed with the outcome of Newcastle's match against Brighton today; they must have been hoping for a draw or a loss in order to improve their chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season. We just have a few games left to decide Liverpool's fate and their potential presence in the Champions League or Europa League next season. Newcastle deserved to win, and Liverpool deserved to be praised for their efforts in getting this far in the league towards the end of the season.

This is undeniable when it comes to the true Goat of the Season; will you still call Arsenal that after they've thrown away all of their efforts from the start of the season until now to Manchester City? I won't say they didn't do well this season, but they could have finished what they started and won the trophy this season.

Mikel Arteta without doubt has been outstanding for Arsenal this season and would've unarguably won the premier league manager of the year had his Arsenal team finished the season with the English Premier League title. Pep Guardiola on his own is a great manager and the records are there to prove that he's one of the greatest managers in modern day football but one thing I think is lacking in his managerial record is the fact that he's never managed an average club and go on to achieve great results with such team. His Manchester City team I think would also be performing at the top with so many managers because of the depth and quality of the squad.
The best manager in the Premier League this season if you ask me is Eddie Howe. He's had an unbelievable campaign with his Newcastle team and finishing the season in the top three would be an ice on the cake

Brighton showed better improvement level under the new manager, with Potter they were good but with the new manager they have become even better and playing with determination and focus. Making top four was a more difficult task for them to achieve when Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United were top and Liverpool picking up momentum at the finishing stages of the season and Newcastle United firing in top form this season, Europa league spot has always been the height they can achieve.

Today Newcastle has no choice but to win if they still want to maintain their position in the top three in the standings, because Newcastle's current number of points is the same as Manchester United and only one point different from Liverpool. So that Newcastle only has a very absolute choice, namely they must be able to win at home even though the team they are facing is Brighton, which in general is not so bad this season.
Newcastle has no choice but to win their match against Brighton to stay above Manchester United with 3 points gap, and Liverpool 4 points gap.
It's the end of the first half and Newcastle is leading with a goal victory over Brighton. If Newcastle is to continue with this pattern of play(playing with their full might) they display in the first half, they are likely to win Brighton at the end of the match no matter what tactics Brighton comes up with.

Honestly I was expecting a big challenge by Brighton against Newcastle after their comfortable 3-0 win Emirate unfortunately they lost 4-1 to the Toons, the host were absolutely brilliant thanks to Eddie Howe whose managerial expertise had started yielding positive results for Newcastle who are now in a verge of qualifying for champion league with just a win in their remaining matches this will consolidate their qualification, meanwhile I must commend Brighton effort this season despite Graham Potter departure to Chelsea and subsequent appointment of Roberto De Zerbi the team still main their consistency and might likely qualify for Europa league if Liverpool failed,

Big win for Newcastle tonight as their flugged brighton with several goals and to wulify for the next round of the premier league,  this is a big win for the club considering the performance since the league started.

Its not over yet Brighton scored and its 2-1 for Newcastle with 20 minutes to go. The match is really open and i think anything can happen. Both teams are attacking hard,Newcastle also missed a few good chances to close the match but now they can get easily punished.
Newcastle are leading and the game is already getting towards the end of it, Newcastle stand good chances of winning the game. I predicted that Newcastle will win the game because they won't like to lose their position,  and with thus victory it is sure for Newcastle to remain in the third position. Newcastle has really performed very well against Brighton,  Newcastle is able maintain their position from Liverpool to catch them up.
I think Newcastle are just good enough to make it into the champions league because for every game they play a win is a must and they need to do that to keep their chances of qualifying alive because the race is now tough as Liverpool and Manchester united are red hot on their tail. They did brilliantly this evening and its good to see them bounce back from the defeat they suffered from the hands of arsenal and now they are back to winning ways.

Now you believe that's over for Brighton since the match have ended, Brighton attacked hard in the second half of the match but they still conceded two goals in second half,  immediately Newcastle scored the second goal in the first half of the match, then I knew Brighton have already lose the match and I was even expecting more goals from Newcastle in the second half which happened, before the match started I was expecting the make to be a tough one for the two teams, but everything went smoothly for Newcastle, they were able to secure 4 goals in the match.

Newcastle performance was nice today and they really deserve the win, I hope they will be able to maintain top three till the ending of the season.

That doesn't mean he never archived his goal for the season. For a fact, every tea hopes to win the trophy, yes. Arsenal indeed had this hopes or should I say wished it, where the best for it at a time but lost it to a more better side, Manchester City but, that doesn't mean, Arsenal didn't attain there goal.

I could almost be certain that, the goal at the beginning of the league for Arsenal would have been a place in the top four, yo secure a UCL slot and the dreams of winning the league arose as a later possibility with fhe runs they were making the success that preceeded it. We all saw it and most of us believed it but, they just couldn't hold it up to the end of the season.
Manchester City which have been close behind and losing on chances to gain in on them finally did and just like that, the league is lost for Arsenal.
Still, it's Arsenal in the top four and UCL.
