I like many others I believe were deceived by the bookies and bet on Newcastle to win,something in normal circumstances I would never bet on them and bet on Arsenal on that very good odd of 2.85 but as dumb as I am I thought that maybe Arsenal had lost motivation to continue fighting for the title,something clearly wrong by my calculations.

I have bet on Manchester United to win as they usually win even away when playing against mid table teams or a bit lower like West Ham but West Ham just scored and is winning the game,funny enough Premier League is not being good and I had a feeling about this as rarely I have seen a game on Sunday in the Premier League to be played at 20 PM European time,hopefully Manchester recovers or they will lose to Liverpool that spot for Champions League during these last games of the season.

The game between West Ham vs Manchester United is 40 minutes into the first half and West Ham is ahead by one goal. I’d like to think it’s still too early to be fearful of a Man United loss but I don’t know. Manchester United hasn’t been playing so badly and they’ve got more of the ball in their possession but they haven’t still gotten a good chance that would be a threat to the West Ham goalie. Having tried some shots so far, none has been on target.
The first half is almost over at this point. Manchester United needs this win if they’ve got any plans to remain and finish amongst the top 4.

Newcastle were unlucky today in terms of getting goals, but I don't think that Newcastle's position in the top 4 of the standings is now threatened. I think Newcastle will qualify for the Champions League next season, but they need a few more wins to secure it.

Arsenal was the better team today and they deserve to win the match after several missed scoring opportunities by Saka, Ødegaard and Martinelli whose effort also hit the woodwork, though Newcastle started the match on a good note they hit the woodwork and had their penalty ruled out by VAR, thereafter Arsenal took control of the match with calmness and created clear scoring chances unfortunately were very unlucky, however it was an entertaining and competitive match bearing in mind that this is second time of Newcastle losing at St James Park, Newcastle will definitely put in their best to qualify for UCL because of their one match advantage.

West Ham has just netted the post of Man united. I don't even know whose fault it was,either De Gea or the 3 defenders who allow Benrahma to pass through them and took a light short which De Gea couldn't stop even if his hand touched the ball. Manchester united are not playing pretty good,Anthony just missed a good right angle shot which he played but West Ham goalkeeper push it to the corner side of the post. The host are playing confidently at home and the game is getting interesting right now.

Arsenal victory today was a surprise to me, I couldn't imagine Arsenal wining Newcastle by 2:0 without the Newcastle side replying even a single goal. Today's victory has really kept Arsenal hope alive once again, if they can continue in wining their remaining games ,it definitely gonna increase their chances of lifting the trophy. However Manchester City on their side, is a team that can't give up when it comes to a situation like this in the premier league, when it's clear that they're on the top of the table, the chances of them losing their games is something that won't be considered easy as they're such a strong team to get defeated in the premier league right now.

Not that it would change a lot at this point, but at least we can be following the premier league with some curiosity about the next games. Brighton is not to be underestimated and Manchester City is still going to play there. Who knows it seems unreal that they could lose two games. There could be a tiny possibility between the Real Madrid games as well should Guardiola decide to rotate a couple of players in and out.

Arsenal's victory away from home today was crucial, 3 good points to close the gap on Manchester City. But anyway, I wouldn't worry too much about Manchester City's chances of securing the title this season because City still has one match in hand to make the points gap back to 4 with Arsenal. Manchester City are going to Goodison Park on the 14th of May, so I think it's an easy match to predict.

Now Manchester City is only thinking about and concentrating on the Champions League first leg match against Real Madrid. It's an away match that will probably be very difficult for Pep Guardiola, but I think Manchester City have a good chance of winning it.
