As always in delicate games usually is the referee that decides by giving a penalty in the 97 minutes while only 5 additional minutes were accorded by the fourth official.I have talked several times about such referees,have also an open thread clearly criticizing the referees who have the same behavior as this one but in England this is much less than in Italy and Spain for example where referees are doing real massacres to different games.It is funny how a referee decide the fate with a penalty in added time that was not accorded by fourth official but because of the main referee who continue playing for more than 10 minutes rather than stopping the game at 95 minute.

Looks like you don't know Brighton & Hove Albion very well, especially when they are playing against top Premier League sides. In fact, not so long ago, the held Manchester United all the way to penalty shoot-outs in the FA semi Final.

If there was anything, this was always going to be a very tough match for Manchester United.

there are no easy matches in epl all teams can have a chance to win, this is quite a competitive league it is difficult to say early that they have an easy way in the upcoming matches. I admit that the Manchester City team is highly favored against the opponents they face in the upcoming match. however something else can happen if they get carried away with the current situation which could be bad for them.

one of the things I like about them in every match is scoring goals and scoring goals so no doubt if they continue to do this in future matches I think they will be difficult to beat by their opponents.

I expected this game to go this way. Both sides aren’t showing any decline in performance both defensive and offensive. They have both had clear goal scoring chances but couldn’t convert them. For Manchester United, this is another of many games this season that they threw away. There were so many chances at the start. Especially with the play in the first 5 minutes. Not necessarily bottled physically but lacking in creativity, sight, passing. Te Hag needs to fix this team better than how it is now.

It's been a thrilling match between these two and it's really surprising with all the opportunity to have presented themselves for both teams in this game, non of them have been able to find the back of the net. Mitoma for Brighton have got what could be said to be the best chance in the game and he sent it straight to David De Geas head. He @Mitoma had yet another one though, he didn't have that clear view of the post and sent it wide.
Manchester United have had some good chances as well with Anthony, Martial and even M. Rashford but still no goals. The game remains goalless and could end as such from the play I've seen so far.

The first half ended goalless but the odds still look attractive now as Brighton are still favorites at 2.50 and Manchester United are 3.05 at the moment.
