I feel Chelsea are not strong in terms of winning games because their coach has not learnt to use his players well. Money was spent to make the Chelsea squad tight but we keep seeing disappointing results and yesterday's game seemed to be the icing on the cake and also the last straw for Todd as they were beaten 2-0 by Aston and although Unai's men played well to deserve the win, I expected better from Potter's men.

Potter seems to have to realise he does not deserve to coach Chelsea. The 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa has given a huge disappointment to supporters. Indeed, Aston Villa played very well, kpier Emiliano Martinez successfully frustrated Chelsea players. He deserves to be the best player last night. Aston Villa successfully implemented a deep defensive strategy and scored from counterattacks. Mudryk also created plenty of chances but Martinez was always able to deny the ball.
Emiliano Martinez was outstanding in that match, so I think it's only natural that he gets the MOTM. However, the highlight was not Chelsea's defeat, but the dismissal of Graham Potter as if to give Chelsea new enthusiasm to return to competing in the Premier League.I would even say his sacking was pushed back too much and Chelsea gave him too much time which in turn only cost the team a lot. Now that Potter is over, he has earned an apology and a final tribute for his service to Chelsea over the past few months, I now hope that a new face that can freshen up the team's form can be brought in.
If I was the owner of Chelsea I would have fired Potter a long time ago. They should have fired him sometime after the world cup. But it was a good thing they gave him enough time so he wont have any excuse for playing so badly.

I wholeheartedly concur that Newcastle put on an excellent performance and deserved to win. On the pitch their commitment and intensity were obvious and their outstanding defence was impressive. Overall, if they qualify for the CL, it cannot be said to have been a bad season for them, and it is ETH's first season in charge, so he has done well. I think, the decision Chelsea president took by fire Graham Potter is very good because he gave the coach enough time to prove himself as a potential coach he claimed to be but he failed. The problem of Chelsea is not the players but the coach, I think their president will take time to search for a talented coach that can work on the team to recover from all their losses in this season.
