I really don't see confidence in Manchester United style of play when mc Tominay is featured in the center. The best of tominay may be seen a little if he is paired with Eriksen, but Tominay and Fred or any other midfielder will put the entire team in the Doghouse cuz when the midfield leaks, the defense gets much troubles from the opposite side, making the attackers to fall back and be doing more of marking than attacking. This was exactly what manchester united went through in the hands of Newcastle attack

But it seems he suddenly lost his potential immediately after he was appointed as Chelsea's coach. I don't know how Bruno Saltor will be able to resuscitate the team and bring it back to its winning ways. But as you rightly pointed out it is unlikely that Chelsea will make it to the top four. It will take an extraordinary effort from the team to achieve that feat. I think they should focus on winning the Champions League which might be the only way to secure a spot for continental football next season.

This defeat pulls Manchester United back to reality that they are not strong enough as clubs which can win 3 or 4 titles in a single seasons. They are very dominating teams in those seasons but it is rarely seen and those clubs have to sacrifice unimportant competitions. Manchester United are opposite as they are not too dominating strong but they did not sacrifice any competition. Weeks ago, they hope to win 5 titles and now they will have to face with reality that they even can lose a position in top four.

Newcastle United actually deserved their winning because they played with a lot of determination knowing that they were targeting the top three of the English Premier League. Unlike Manchester United who played as if they were on training ground.
There was no force. There was no motivation, that is not known for Manchester United.

But the league doesn't look good, they were clearly third, and looked like they would finish third, but they slowly started to lose their chances and that became a bit worse for them. I would highly suggest that it would be better if they could end up getting better results in the long run in order to make a come back.

I had no idea Casemiro played such an important role in Manchester United's defensive organization until yesterday when Callum scored their second goal for Newcastle. Manchester United had 5 men defending and couldn't stop Callum from scoring, which was really disappointing. In fact, I never expected to see Newcastle so quickly in that top 4, but I noticed they have crawled there and because they are good, there was the potential to make it back to the top 4, but there is no difference for now at least because the two teams have the same point, only the number of times they lost matches were used to determine their standing, next matches will confirm who will take between 3rd and 4th place.

It's hard to say who is available, but I would consider Stefano Pioli or Spalletti. They have shown very well that they can set the game perfectly with not the most stellar players and quite modest budgets.

My guess was off the mark because I thought Man United's performance could be much better. But in fact not, and became their worst performance after winning the Carabao Cup trophy. 3 times in a row without a triumphant victory and Man United really doesn't have good games anymore. Without Casemiro, it turns out that the midfield is very easy to penetrate. Newcastle managed to take revenge, which brought Man United down to 4th place in the standings, and even then they will receive threats from Tottenham.

Throughout the game, Erik Ten Hag's strategy looked messy and ineffective in building attacks. Man United is continuing its negative trend again and it will be a problem if it continues to lose in the next match.

The sad thing about Manchester United is they work very well whenever they have full teams without problems but just after a player replaces another player because of some reason they can't fill the role of that player and that's what we saw in the match against Newcastle since the players in main squad of Manchester united are much better than other players they need to do some rework with these players because, in the case of emergency, he will need to use these players.

Seriously I was expecting better performance from Manchester united yesterday, I know Newcastle is not a small team but I was not expecting them to win Manchester United yesterday, I was thinking Manchester united will win the match before they started, but when the match started and I saw how the two clubs were playing I knew it will be kind of difficult for Manchester united to win the match, but I was not even expecting Newcastle to score two goals yesterday.

We've all seen how Manchester United have worked in previous games, and it didn't show in this game. They can't do anything when Newcastle play with the ball, and when they get the ball Manchester United can't show what they have done this season. Do you think this has something to do with their fatigue factor? or are they thinking more about the Europa League?

Technicality and player shortage were the major reasons for Manchester's defeat in the weekend game and if you watch the entire game you will discover that Newcastle United we're not all that impressive in their play but yet their we're able to secure 1 goal in the match.

-Manchester United really have some home work to do to refill the gap and space left by the two front-line players.
