Actually, Antonio Conte's performance has been considered quite good. and I don't think his dismissal was due to his poor performance. but there are other reasons why Conte was sacked. Some news also stated that before Antonio Conte was sacked, it turned out that there had been an incident, namely about the comments made by Antonio Conte after the game against Southampton, which seemed to have offended the Tottenham boss a little or something. but I'm not sure about the other reasons either.
With Conte style, it is better if he takes coach position in national team than in clubs. Because with national team, he will have less conflict than if he works in a club in one or two long seasons. Many things will be enough to made up of conflicts between Conte and club President as well as other staffs especially Sport director. He is a type of person who want to be winner and he will request to be supported by club with player transfers.
Honestly it is very hard to find consensus between Conte and club in player transfer and strategy to build up a winning team. Sooner or later, with Conte traits, he will criticize a club on social media, in press conference and his relationship with club will be broken.
because Tottenham's overall performance is still considered quite good because even now they are still in the top 4 of the standings. although lately Tottenham has indeed experienced a slight decline but overall this season I think Tottenham is still on a positive path.
Performance of Tottenham is somewhere between acceptable and unacceptable but it is actually not too good.
