This season Manchester United can compete better than last season, but unfortunately when one team can improve the other team decreases. If only Liverpool and Chelsea did not experience a slump this season, the competition at the top would be more interesting. Not only that, other teams like Newcastle add even more interesting competition. But unfortunately it was not what we expected, so we saw a change in competition at the top with the decline of several teams.

After Arsenal's relegation from the Europa League, they are only focused on the EPL... With 8 points to spare against Man City, I think they will be League champions this season... Man City really have a lot of challenges where they need to perform well... I think the Champions League is more important for them...
It's caused by EPL was the only trophy that can be won by arsenal this season. I see no chance for arsenal other than taking EPL to the emirates stadium. It has been a very very long time since arsenal was winning EPL.
In my opinion, if arsenal was not so strong. It's caused losing against sporting in europa league was making me believe if arsenal was not

Will arsenal make it? or will there be a dramatic takeover from city for EPL this season? That will be a very interesting story to be watched.

We can say Arsenal as champions if Manchester City lose against Liverpool in the upcoming match precisely in April
But if Manchester City wins then Arsenal are not safe the race will continue maybe until the end of the season
Arsenal can be said to be safe if they leave Man city with a difference of 10 points.
Even though at the moment their condition is pretty good but to say they are champions now in the midst of competitive conditions that still feel I think it's not right.
Arsenal's current condition also still needs to face big matches such as facing Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea. Not to mention the sometimes unpredictable clubs like Newcastle and Brighton.

The EPL always presents competition even until the final match so saying they are champions from now on even though the points are quite far I think this is rushing.

We know that Roy Hodgson is a veteran coach and has often managed top European teams such as Liverpool and Inter, his career has been quite good even though he has made little contribution to major trophies. But indeed Roy Hodgson is too old to handle a club at the EPL level and the option to make him a coach until the end of the season seems pretty good. For Patrick Vieira's dismissal, I cannot comment further because the results obtained were also unsatisfactory for Crystal Palace. Maybe from now on Crystal Palace will prepare another replacement at the end of the season.

It seems that the management of Crystal Palace are frustrated with what happened to their club and keeping the old coach or replacing with a new one is a dilemma decision, and I think the problem is finances where they don't have the ability to be able to hire a better coach, so giving Roy Hodgson a chance is only a short term solution but whether he will be able to make Palace better is still in the question

It looks like Fulham will have a problem with the rest of the games they have to play in the English Premier League as the incident in the FA Cup where their striker will likely be banned from playing until the end of this season.
This is a loss for Fulham if sanctions are actually applied, so far Fulham is in rank 9 and Mitrovic's contribution to his team is quite big by having provided 11 goals in all the games he has played this season, if he is really suspended from playing until the end of the season it will be difficult for Fulham and will affect their position until the end of the season, The coach still expects his striker to be able to get a fair punishment https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/21774140/fulham-news-mitrovic-referee-shove-charged/

Roy Hodgson has been appointed Crystal Palace manager until the end of the season. I don’t know how to feel about this. I mean they shouldn’t have let Patrick Vieira go in the first place. The team was always improving and with the extra cash they would have been better. Anyways Roy Hodgson has been a fantastic manager over a illustrious career in many countries, but he is out of depth in the current football league. I think it's a safe appointment with no aspiration. Hopefully Crystal Palace can aquire the manager they need going forward into the new season.

With the current 8-point difference that Arsenal has, it's definitely not something easy for Manchester City to follow. Despite Manchester City's performance, I know Sefang is committing massive aggression. But they also still have to be able to secure the condition of their players for the continuation of the Champions League.

But apart from all that I will admit that this season Arsenal are really closer to the trophy than Manchester city. The remaining few matches will be very carefully considered by Arteta.

The match with Manchester City is a biggest one for Arsenal in rest of season as they are two direct competitors for the Premier League crown. Arteta and Arsenal don't have to win that match, they need to have a draw, prevent Manchester City to reduce 5 points gap and move on to collect points from other teams.
Don't think like that there are still 10 weeks to go, it's mean Manchester City can earn maximum of 30 points, it's enough to beat Arsenal at the top position. Arsenal always lost against Manchester City, so Arsenal still need to win regardless they're currently in a quite safe position and 8 points difference than Manchester City.

Maybe Arsenal have a slight advantage since Manchester City need to play at the other leagues, but it can put a pressure for Arsenal's players since Arteta will force them to win in this league, otherwise Arsenal will not get anything in this season.
Arsenal take an 8 points lead in the Premier League race into the international break, but for sure Manchester City will not let them rest easy as the campaign unfolds. Time and again this season, Arsenal have hit a crossroads and the same fear has surfaced, if they’ll bottle the league or win it. But one thing about this Arsenal side is that when they think they’ll drop their steam, they come through unbowed, if not unscathed. Now they’re all focused on the league title so they are going to eye the run-in with a healthier blend of caution and confidence. For Manchester city, the biggest issue facing them is the number of games that have to be wedged into the next eight weeks. 11 in the league, add an FA Cup semi-final against Sheffield United and a potential two-legged Champions League semi-final and it will be hectic. So I think fighting on three fronts could put City at a disadvantage against Arsenal, who only have eyes on the title.

The result from Manchester City's match against Arsenal on April 1st will be a very big one as it'll will decide wether Manchester City are going to battle for the top spot till last weekend if the premier league or they'll relatively be out of the race for who wins the title.
Arsenal knows how important that match will be to them and I expect them not to be nervous going into that match because they already has an 8 point gap over City.

Manchester City's main concern I think will be to win the Champions League this season which will be an added advantage to Arsenal who has been eliminated from Europa League.
Exactly, this match will determine which of these two clubs will win the league because both clubs are strong and don't want to be defeated in their matches. If Arsenal fail to win the match,it means that Manchester city will definitely win the league because Arsenal will be two points ahead of them. On the other hand, if Arsenal wins the match,it is clear that they will be 8 points ahead of Manchester city. This will bring a slim opportunity for Manchester city to be win the league. That match must be a very strong match since the fate of this season EPL winner will be seen.this

I really wonder how the match between the two clubs will be, arsenal now is 8 points ahead man city with one missed match for city, let's say the gap will be 5 points how arteta will start this match, I don't think playing defensively is a good idea because man city can score against any team easily so i believe arsenal must try to score in the beggening of the match
Playing defensively is making arsenal have a very big risk. I meant manchester city is also having a good attacker. Playing defensively was only making arsenal be under pressure by city. If this will happen until the end of game and that will increase the chance for arsenal to lose against manchester city. I can't even deny the fact that if city is also having best attacker in the world. it's better for arsenal to play offensive rather than defense.

Playing defensively was just making its players stressed due to the so many pressures that will come anytime. I think that you should aware of how good manchester city was when it was coming to attack its opponent but i would be so glad if arsenal will take such decision.

The pattern that Arteta stretcher is not a defensive game, but an offensive one. so, you can be sure that in the fight later the two teams will appear to attack each other. both City and Arsenal, both will try to score goals for each other to win his team. plus, this match was decisive for Arsenal to win the league trophy this season.
IMO, Arsenal have the ability to beat City but the problem is how Arteta motivates the overall mentality of the team.

But by the way before that match, both Arsenal and Manchester City will have a series of matches against other teams. which means, changes to the difference in points could have occurred before the City vs Arsenal match. these two teams have the potential to slip up, or stay on the winning path. on the other hand, Manchester City will have a series of busy schedules. plus, crucial matches. because before the game versus Arsenal, City will play matches in several competitions, such as the Champions League, FA Cup. meaning, Pep Guardiola's focus will be divided not only to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is only focused on one competition. their target is the Premier League, and do their best to keep the top of the table until this season ends. So, let's just follow the development of these two teams.

I thought Crystal Palace will sign Patrick McCartney as new manager but apparently McCartney only as interm manager status and seems this is valid news that Roy Hodgson has decided to come back from his retirement to being an new manager of Crystal Palace and the management targetting him to bringing Crystal Palace to avoiding relegation zone

And i don't know this is good for Crystal Palace or not although Hodgson is the coach with plenty of experience in premier league or other league but during his career his achievement is not too impressive for me and last year he was choosen as Watford coach and the management were targetting him to bringing Watford to survive in premier league but unfortunately he was failed and Watford was relegated at that time

Manchester City will have hard days in both the champions league and the premier league
Manchester City still have one direct match with Arsenal and assume they win it, the gap will become two points. However, if Manchester City go far in Champions League like semi final, they will be more distracted and lose concentration on Premier League. Risk to see Arsenal expand the gap is not small with Manchester City.

Quote
right now Arsenal is just focused on the premier league and they have more time for recovery and save the potential for the rest of the league while also there is eight points gap between these team which can be the reason to say Arsenal have more chance to take the title for this season.
In theory, Arsenal will have good advantage in coming weeks but not sure will they or Manchester City lose points. I love the beauty football Arsenal are playing and their strong mentality in this season so I really wish them the best to win Premier League. Then Premier League next seasons will no longer dual competition between Manchester City and Liverpool. Together with good growth from Manchester United and Newcastle United, Premier League will become more exciting.

Roy Hodgson have end his retirement as Crystal Palace reappoint him to be the head coach until the end of the season campaign. The club is currently worsen, after departing ways with Patrick Vieira. Roy Hodgson understands the system of the club and knows how to operates his formulation for the club. He's experienced and the fans believe he will improved this time around. The eagles are witnessing poor results in league games, they need to step further on the table. Let's give him chance see if he can turn the club around into winning games.

Manchester City will be the toughest team which Arsenal faced if we compared to other teams on their schedules this because only Manchester City is the team who Arteta cannot be defeated in the last 5 meetings but regarding the match indeed i don't think playing defensively isn't an option for Arteta because Arsenal under him were never been playing with this style even during this season we can see Arsenal almost be dominate for each matches and playing full attacking
The match with Manchester City is a biggest one for Arsenal in rest of season as they are two direct competitors for the Premier League crown. Arteta and Arsenal don't have to win that match, they need to have a draw, prevent Manchester City to reduce 5 points gap and move on to collect points from other teams.

However, Arsenal will have to meet two other big clubs, Chelsea and Liverpool. Between two matches, I see a match with Liverpool is harder for Arsenal because different than Chelsea, Liverpool are still fighting for top four and they don't play against Arsenal without clear task like Chelsea.

Maybe Arsenal will benefit a little because Manchester City must share their concentration on the Champions League and also the FA Cup. But I'm sure Arsenal will lose points again when they face Manchester City. So in my opinion Arteta has to maintain that two-point gap that is very likely to happen. This means that if you want to keep the chances of winning, Arteta must not let his guard down in every remaining match.
It is a big advantage for Arsenal but Manchester City have enough deep alternative players so that they can manage to begin matches with strong alternative squad if they are suffering from Champions League matches. Arsenal actually do hope Manchester City to go as farthest as possible in Champions League then they can get bigger indirect advantage.
In the impending Arsenal versus Manchester City duel, anticipation bubbles, as Premier League supremacy hangs in the balance. Though Arsenal's past encounters have seen City's dominance, the tide may be turning. With an 8-point buffer, Arsenal stands firm; however, complacency mustn't take hold. A voracious desire for victory is paramount, especially as Haaland awakens the beast within.

City's attention is divided among various leagues, potentially weakening their Premier League focus. This may be Arsenal's moment to strike. Arteta's unrelenting drive could provide the catalyst for an extraordinary upset, etching this match in the annals of football history.

The rest of the match is still long enough, at least the results obtained later for Arsenal and Manchester city will not always be the same. Even so, Manchester City does have an advantage with a small number of matches, this could be an opportunity for Pep Guardiola's squad to cut points from Arsenal. However, it looks like now the players will be preoccupied with the international break match and I hope that after the match is over, no players will be injured.

I don't think it will affect Manchester City's concentration during the game in the FA Cup, because they have a reserve squad depth that is balanced with the main players, but in the Champions League I think it will affect Pep Guardiola's concentration, because they will face Bayern Munich who have a balanced game with them.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have to undergo two big matches in the Premier League and are quite worried because the matches against Manchester City and Liverpool will be the toughest test for Arteta. If Arsenal lose concentration and fail to secure full points, then the potential to maintain the top of the standings is in danger of being taken over by Manchester City.
