When Arsenal started showing signs of competing for the league title at the beginning of the season didn't believe in them and so did a lot of people, but after watching Arsenal every week, I am more than convinced that they can hold to number one position in the league till the end of the season or at least till it is impossible for Man City to catch up.
Man City will face Arsenal but by then it would be like 5 games till the end of the season so even if Man City gets the full point in the fixture, Arsenal will still be on top. All Arsenal need to do now is not lose concentration or get ahead of themselves and take it one game at a time. Its a good thing they're out of the Europa, they need to be focused on the league.
Arsenal have given up a Premier League lead in the past but I think we are a different team and are the most consistent. People keep saying that Manchester City will catch up and over take Arsenal but they are the most inconsistent they have been for many years and I think it is unfair to call Arsenal not worthy of winning the Premier League. I think Arsenal will prove in the next couple of games that they are the champions and Manchester City will lose more points and prove they are more inconsistent.

The current situation is actually very complex for Chelsea, apart from having to spend more money, it is clear that the reshuffle will still be felt in the future, especially with a new coach, the players will automatically be new again and of course this will not be much different from before if it was like that.
Potter is actually good in terms of the scheme for ball possession, it's just that they are still not good in terms of how to take advantage of the opportunities that exist.
That's the reason I said Chelsea management did not do well to have threatened the coach with a sack few weeks back, because such statement could effect the coach motivation on the jobs.

-We all know the root of Chelsea problems and how politically motivated the challenges are, and if care is not taken, Chelseamay end up in the relegation zone soon.
I agree with this because if only when they didn't mix politics with football it was clear that everything might have been a little bit manageable. On the other hand, in this case, Todd's haste should also be used as a real lesson for them because in the end they are the ones who lose out here when they do everything in a hurry regardless of the situation.
For Relegation maybe not, but being in their current position is also bad enough for them.

Are we serious right now, why blame everything on potter knowing fully well how Chelsea problem pre-date potter's arrival at Chelsea,  remember being a Coach doesn't mean all the decisions in the club depend on his reasoni?

-Am afraid that even if potter gets sacked from the club it will still not make any positive sense and it will be important to rebuild the club.
Regardless of anything the coach will always be blamed in this case, especially when looking at the current conditions and before Potter's arrival it was clearly better than before the arrival of course. Even though we can't put all the blame on Potter, of course the coach plays an important role for the club and when the team's scheme and performance don't go well, then of course he will be the one who will be affected.
The coach will always be hold responsible when a team is not doing well with continuous bad results. This is a team that has spent money in bringing good players and yet their is still no improvement. After bringing talented players and nothing is still working,  the blame needs to go to the coach.

Only ten games left. Even if Manchester City win the missing game and decrease point difference to 5, that means Arsenal have to slip in two games and City  don't make any mistakes. It doesn't look like both teams make a mistake though. Both teams will play with Liverpool and Chelsea and they play with each other. There is no fixture advantage for any sides. I still believe Arsenal will go until the end and lift that long awaited trophy.

I think it's 8 points but since they have one more game than City, that means as long as City wins that extra game, the difference is still 5 points and nothing really changed aside from getting one more game closer to finish line.

Though it wasn't between arsenal and Manchester city, I can recall that this same thing happen in 2012. Where Manchester United and Manchester City we're having a very close points. Manchester city with much goals were favored.
I'm making this analysis based on the current situation on ground.  Manchester city hardly gives up when they have come this far, and will not give up this season especially now that arsenal isn't far from them in the standing. In favor of Arsenal I pray what happens in 2012 doesn't occur this year.

Newcastle are still in a really good situation in the standings right now despite having a bad form for some time.

They are still only two points away from Tottenham and they have a huge advantage against Tottenham at the same time. Because they have two missing games to play later. This can carry them into the top four once again. It must be still like a dream for Newcastle to fight for the Champions League this season. Because they don't have a very qualified squad right now. They are technically an average team but this is an important level of success for them. The key point for them is to qualify for the Champions League from now on. Because this would ease their job about signing bigger names in the summer.
The drastic improvement that occurred at Newcastle after changing ownership was extraordinary. and Newcastle's opportunity to shift Tottenham from 4th place is also very large and might happen quickly. because the 2 postponed matches are already a big capital to get more points. Newcastle even only had 3 defeats from a total of 26 matches. and this is an extraordinary achievement that proves they have a solid defense. but the front line of Newcastle seems to need additional players who are better. because they are sometimes not so prolific in scoring goals. so many draws they get.

Arsenal is 8 points clear but at the same time, Manchester City has played one match less compared to Arsenal. Now I do not think it is going to be a good idea for Arsenal to take things easy. They will have to perform better if they want to be the English Premier League title champion.

Its more like thats the only thing that they got to do now because they only got EPL left. I wish they win though because at this point, I dont think Manchester United is going to win given how tight our fixtures are so I dont want City to win another EPL trophy so Arsenal really needs to win this. Imagine that Arteta failed this season, I dont think that he will have a better shot on next season though as one of the reason that Arsenal manage to get to the top right now is because most of the other top teams are playing badly like Chelsea and Liverpool

I doubt you, bro. There will be a positive change if by any chance Potter Packs out of Stanford bridge. Chelsea was under pressure at the beginning of this season, and for that reason, it was sold out,  pressure only affected Chelsea's performance under Tuchel. But even at losing, chelsea's style of play with the losing team was far better than Potter's current team with new signings.
Apart from saying chelsea was in bad condition before potter came, try comparing his substitution in every match with that of other coaches in England,  u will know that potter is not working for that club cuz His substitutes affects every successful match that the club is leading.
So you are among those Chelsea fans who think potter is the problem of Chelsea and the sole reason for the club underperforming this season,  the ultimate question is why did Chelsea's management sack Tuchel who is perceived to have been far better compared to Potter?

-The current coach of Chelsea will give way at one point or the other, but the question will be, will there be any change just as I asked in my previous comment.

I also think that if Potter were fired what would be a loss would be Chelsea having to build a team from scratch again. Indeed, in Chelsea's last match in the EPL, it was Potter's mistake when substituting players, Potter experimented too much in the EPL and it has happened until now. I think it's Todd Boehly's own will, for the selection of players who will enter and leave this season, Chelsea's focus this season seems to be only the UCL.

I agree with the fact that Chelsea spent a lot of money on players in the last transfer window, but then it shouldn't become a basis to blame the coach for their underperformance since the coach has not spent enough time with those players to be able to fix them in the right places.

-And also, there is a big difference between spending huge money on players and getting good performances from such players.

It certainly not about spending money on signings but buying the right players, currently I would say Chelsea are still not there with those quality most especially at the attacking area. Chelsea should have prioritize that area but they didn’t. Potter is taking much of the blame because in football it always that way and it seems biased to me. Although I would blame Potter for lack of tactical thinking when ever it boils down to making substitutions, he usually gets it wrong and an experienced coach would have been winning with this players easily. We all saw how Tuchel won the UCL after he replaced Lampard without adding any player.

We should also place some blames on the fact that since potter arrival he hasn’t had a full fitted squad and it is affecting his selection.

West Ham, Bournemouth and Southampton are currently in the relegation zone, but they still have a chance to get out of the red zone. Acquisition of points is still very close to the position that is currently safe in the standings. Perhaps the difference now is the number of matches played by the clubs. They have just played 26 matches, 27 matches and 28 matches. Just one different match is very important now, because it is very possible to change their position in the standings with just one match. The bottom board has very tough competition.
West Ham, which has 2 matches postponed, still has a great chance to get out of the relegation zone. and tough competition is indeed happening in the lower ranks now. the difference in points from Rank 12th to 20th in standing is actually not that big. so that in the remaining matches this season it looks like the teams that enter the relegation zone will continue to change. and I'm pretty sure West Ham will get out of the relegation zone. because at least West Ham has the most number of games remaining, namely 12 games remaining for West Ham.

I think with Arsenal going 8 points clear at the top of the league table will increase the pressure on Manchester City to want to get a must win in their next premier league game. Manchester City are currently distracted with the champions league, they will be facing Dortmund in the UCL soon and I think Pep will prioritize winning the UCL over the epl because the champions league trophy has eluded him for so many years at Manchester City. He would not want to lose this chance. This gives Arsenal the advantage in the race for the trophy, Manchester city is not a team to underestimate so Arsenal will have to be at their best performances to win the title.
Arsenal fc will be the champions of English Premier league and there's nothing anyone can do about it. Same as Barcelona is the champions of Laliga.
Barcelona crashed out of the Champions League and Europa league and focused on Laliga and last night they became the champions.
Likewise Arsenal crashed out of the Europa and they will focus on the English Premier League and become the champions.

Arsenal is 8 points clear but at the same time, Manchester City has played one match less compared to Arsenal. Now I do not think it is going to be a good idea for Arsenal to take things easy. They will have to perform better if they want to be the English Premier League title champion.

I don't know if Manchester City is actually 100% interested to win the English Premier League title. At least I think they are not more interested in the English Premier League title this time, at least not more than the Champions League trophy. I think the main target of Manchester City is to win the Champions League trophy and finish in the top three of the English Premier League. And that gives Arsenal a little more breathing space.

When it comes to English premier league title I am always very careful before making assumptions of who to win.  What happens in the case of Barcelona may likely not be the same for Arsenal. La liga is a less difficult league than English premiere league. Cases like teams from religion zone trashing teams in top 4 zones rarely happens, unlike EPL where top 4 teams can come out with a disappointing result at any moment.  considering the matches left and the already existing point gap between Manchester city and Arsenal, there is a lot more work left for Arsenal to do.

I also think that if Potter were fired what would be a loss would be Chelsea having to build a team from scratch again.
Graham Potter was only recently appointed manager, it is not like he has been at Stamford Bridge for years, thus even if he was fired today, Chelsea wouldn't need any rebuilding, with all due respect to him, he hasn't really built anything, Chelsea look like an ordinary team most times, and that has got to change.
Chelsea's focus this season seems to be only the UCL.
I'm afraid i don't think there any chance in hell that Chelsea is going to win the CL this season, i can't even see a way for them to get past Real Madrid. It is becoming glaring that they wouldn't play CL football next season, because they aren't going to enter the top four, neither are they going to win the CL this season.
your doubts will be real and true chelsea will be a team that is not very consistent in the Champions league. Even in the EPL, Chelsea can be sure they will close the season outside the top 10 which will be the worst point for them. One factor may be that Chelsea have to find a new coach for the following season because Graham weakness seems obvious which has failed to bring change to Chelsea this season.

with a fairly good quality squad and the massive investment made by tood boehly will end in vain this season because chelsea is in pretty poor performance. zidane and joachim low are probably good enough coaches if chelsea really fires graham potter.

Obviously Arsenal is still doing fine, there was this week or two where City looked like they might take over and ever since that moment Arsenal has been doing well enough with that 5 points difference and I do not think that they will give it away soon. There is this possibility that they could even keep this difference until the end, who knows? But that doesn't mean that it was this week that sealed the deal or anything, this wasn't anything special all by itself.
