It's likely that injury is why Manchester City struggled to beat Bournemouth. Things are worsening when some players, like Walker, Foden, and Kovacic, underperformed. I don't know what hell is wrong with them. They are slipping further from their best performances.

It's very obvious the players' poor performances hurt their gameplay. They were slow in build-up, and their defense was too slow to react to counterattacks. They're getting mental slowness probably due to a lot of injuries that happened to the club.

I don't really take injury as an excuse because even before the injuries they were not playing well since the beginning of this season. If you observe very well, they concede too much and quickly this season and always looking for a way to do come back. They are champions for God sake and should not be playing too bad using injuries as an excuse. Maintaining their standards at all odds is what make them to be champion.

I can't just imagine City playing against Liverpool like this because an heavy disgrace will awaits them. They could win or draw that game but they choose to romance the ball until they get perfect opportunity to score goals and that's not longer working again. None of the players is attempting to shoot the ball from outside box and Haaland seems to lost his usual finishing touch.

Yes it was a surprise and I didn't expect it to happen to Bournemouth and what was even more surprising for me was that they were able to beat Manchester City and I think and probably most people thought Manchester City would win. And this victory was very historic for Bournemouth because this was the first time they were able to beat Manchester City, and this victory brought Bournemouth up to eighth place in the standings with 15 points which I think Bournemouth can still go up if they can maintain and improve their game and also their defense. And in the next match they will face Brentford who are below them in the standings with a difference of 3 places, Brentford is a tough opponent and can Bournemouth beat Brentford.
