You're saying a different thing entirely from what she meant, then at the same time, you're contradicting yourself ...
Man city's head to head stats this season can't be compared to arsenal's... That'll be a big flattery, I believe that's what you wanted to say?
I think arsenal still stands a chance to win this match and claim 'em 3 points that'll be added to their grade-point average. But you know, in turns, since arsenal is already giving in much effort to maintain their position in the premiership, they might as well perform less tonight.
I hope both teams play to their best regardless of whatever makes them compete in the Premier League.
Manchester City must be ahead of Arsenal because this match is played at the Etihad Stadium. They need to take advantage of this opportunity to win, it will change their bad record against Arsenal in the FA Cup.

I'm really expecting serious match from both teams, no one is taking each other for granted and it will be reat encounter when Arsenal are in top form. At the same time I want to get proof that Arteta and his team are better than Manchester City, this is an opportunity - but it will be difficult.
Like I said previously, it will be difficult for Arsenal to beat Manchester city even though they(Arsenal) seems to be on top of their game this season.
I was searching some old time records on Google some hours ago, to see the result of all the matches where Manchester city have played against Arsenal in the previous years, I discovered that Arsenal have never won or beat Manchester city on any of their previous matches in the last 2 to 3 years.
So if they(Arsenal) manage to beat Manchester city on this game coming up, it will really be a big achievement for them and their fans..
All the same, I wish them the best of luck..

Underestimate- nothing
I am wondering, if we look back at the point difference in the standings, is it still easy enough for Man City to defend the EPL title?
Considering that the Premier League has only 16 matches left, not to mention Arsenal's consistency is a barrier for Man City to defend the title

I have little doubt that the EPL title will still belong to Man City this season

It is difficult for Manchester City to be able to win the Premier League title again this season, because Manchester City's performance has not been very good this season and even that happened before the World Cup break. Even though Manchester City has a good squad like Haaland but still, Manchester City still cannot guarantee to consistently achieve good results in every match they play.
The only way for Manchester City to win the Premier League title this season is to expect Arsenal's performance to decline.
This season is not for Manchester City; instead, they should concentrate on the Champions League, where I believe they have a better chance of success. This season is for Arsenal, and after watching how they played Manchester United, I am confident that my team will prevail. Saka is currently the star player for Arsenal, but his performance cannot be compared to Gabriel Jesus presently, so how they perform in the FA Cup tonight will determine how their matchup in the Premier League will go.

Yes maybe the FA Cup isn't the main focal point for Manchester City and Arsenal both. However this doesn't mean that they don't care about the match.

I'm pretty sure about one thing that we will see the usual starting elevens in this match. Because the FA Cup is the second prestigious tournament in England after the Premier League in my opinion. As you can see nearly all the time big teams have won the FA Cup title so far. This isn't a cup that Manchester City dominate though. Because of that I will also be giving Arsenal a chance to eliminate them. Even the match is going to be played in Etihad we never know what will happen.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
despite the head to head history of the two teams, man city is superior but arsenal this season looks very extraordinary, i agree with you, surely arsenal will give a big surprise in the FA cup match against man city later.

I agree that it is going to cause why it is like this, and I believe that we shouldn't be expecting either of them to stop. I believe that both teams will try to win the title as much as they possibly could and it will definitely be something fun for us viewers for sure.

I know that not many people are greatly fans of it, but that doesn't mean that it should be as much of a fan if you are fan of those teams since it would be nerve wrecking to watch. I am not, I am not even English, so for me it is just great football that these two teams are playing for me to enjoy and have fun, which is why it's such a great thing that it's happening this way and they are so close as it is.

Honestly I feel both coach will give chances to good players who sit out in bench last game or some new players for example like Trossard, Tomiyasu, Alvarez, Phillips, Walker. Eitherway I am sure both teams will give in their 100% before they face out in PL game for real. Arsenal don't counter much so I am bit curious to see what's the game plan also at the same time keep the PL highscorer beast Haaland at bay in today's fixture.

Won't say their form have not been good this season just that this half of the season Man City have been having a confused style of play. Is like they don't know which game to take serious any more, with time I feel they'll get back to winning ways but emerging as champions I don't think so because Arsenal are not ready to back down in the fight to be EPL champion. They have been having this hunger right from last season and now is time to pass those hurdles, and although there's being the debate that they'd pass this game tonight up for the EPL, I still believe the Gunners would surprise us.

We will be entertained in the FA Cup between Arsenal vs Man City because as many people have said, the impact of Arsenal vs Man City game is expected to have a big impact. The result is indeed very important so it cannot be underestimated just because the FA Cup is less prestigious. For both parties, this match will be taken seriously. Given the hot status of the two clubs in the Premier League, they could be taken into the FA Cup tie before a more important meeting in the Premier League. It was clear that the match, which had been postponed, made the two of them look forward to the meeting. Testing the quality of each player and also bringing together two coaches who had been in one chair.
so true. both teams will definitely play to the maximum. even though the FA Cup is not a priority for these two teams. But still, both Manchester City and Arsenal definitely want to win this fight. especially Arsenal. I think Arsenal will fight pretty hard to win in this game. because in the last 5 meetings Arsenal have suffered 5 consecutive defeats by Manchester City. So at this time of course Arsenal will be very motivated to be able to win. And we also know that Arsenal are currently in quite good performance and consistency. well at least this fight must be awaited by all of us.

That's true and sad for Manchester City to say they actually don't have any chance to win first place this season because currently need 15 points to reach Arsenal and 15 weeks are already over so there is no time for them. Maybe that's because they didn't show any good performance at the beginning of this season and they lost many points while Arsenal is 15 points ahead and they even have the chance to become the champion a few weeks sooner than the end of this season, while ManchesterCity also bought many good and effective stars but it didn't work for them.

Chelsea have made good signings in January and I'm really wondering what they will do from now on. The match against Fulham should be a starting point for them to improve their results in the league. Chelsea have such a good potential under Potter's management as well actually. The thing they have lacked so far is finishing. But after these additions to the attacking line they should be more capable about that. Mudryk and Felix both seem promising with their efforts.

Mudryk has made me more excited to tell the truth. Because his effort in his first match was impressive and he is a permanent player unlike Felix as well.

this is the match I'm waiting for as a Manchester City supporter of course I want Arsenal to play with a full squad so that this match will be great to watch later, of course I bet on Manchester City hoping Arsenal will play well against Manchester City later  Wink
I think that either teams will be playing with the full squads. The result from this match is really important for any of them. Manchester city wants trophy and arsenal too. my focus was on the match between city against arsenal. if city can win the match against arsenal and city will get easy way to win FA cup. Arsenal must be careful with city in EPL. This is the hottest match this week. I can't wait to see that how both will be attacking each other. that will become a beautiful match for sure.

Of course, they are both big clubs and are competing each other directly so they won't give up the match in FA Cup easily. So I am sure they will contribute an exciting match for us to watch on televisions or on field. However, I don't expect to see their best players to play because they need best players for Premier League and Champions League.
This duel is very exciting because Manchester City and Arsenal are both in the top two Premier League standings. Both teams want to prove their strength against opponents who have the same level, of course it is not easy to win this match because Manchester City and Arsenal are on fire in the competition they are still participating in. Manchester City, which acts as the host, has no problems with his squad, Guardiola can field his best squad against Arsenal.

While Arsenal cannot be strengthened by Gabriel Jesus and Reiss Nelson due to injuries, Arteta still has other options in strategizing to overcome Manchester City. Both teams will try to appear dominant to achieve success in the FA Cup, this trophy will have a positive impact on the club that wins it. The FA Cup is also an official competition in England, so there is no reason for Manchester City and Arsenal not to prioritize this trophy, especially since the FA Cup is the oldest event in the world.

I think now the most important thing is that Arsenal have a comfortable game with Everton ahead, and City have the most difficult game with Tottenham. Therefore, it is Arsenal which can play at full strength and City may resort to rotation. It's nice to beat a rival head-to-head, but if it's worth losing points against Tottenham and losing the Premier League, it's going to be a disaster.
Next week the advantage will belong to Arsenal when they will face Everton and it is certain that they will win this match to keep away from the pursuit of Manchester City. Meanwhile, rivals Manchester City have to face quite a difficult opponent, Tottenham has made their hopes of winning a bit stalemate, even if there is little chance of winning, it looks like a draw could happen in this match later.

Everton are wrapping things quickly to make Sean Dyche the new coach of Everton, initially it was actually former Leeds United head coach who helped them rise from the Championships to the Premier League. All of that cooled down with news about Sean Dyche news.
At Burnley, I know how difficult it use to be for Arteta to defeat Burnley and Sean Dyche.

I was saying they'll win comfortably but that game has every possiblity of ending as a draw. I have to admit it, Arsenal has no chance at Etihad tonight, they getting knocked off completely.
Yes, I read the news about the new Everton coach Sean Dyche who replaced Frank Lampard after being sacked a few days ago. I don't follow Arsenal's meeting with the new Everton coach, but as you said Arsenal will definitely play comfortably, even if Everton can hold it to a draw, of course it won't be a problem for Arsenal because they have a small number of matches away from Man City.

Regarding today's FA Cup match, Manchester City vs Arsenal looks like it will be a hot match for the two teams, they are both targeting to win the FA Cup and of course this will be a place to prove which team is stronger in England.

Man City is only 5 points behind Arsenal and many admit that Man City has a superior team compared to the Arsenal team. in fact I think Arsenal are just lucky to be able to steal points from Man City and be ranked first in the English league.
and in my opinion it won't last long Man city will reclaim the first place in the standings, because Man City has excellent players who are ready to break through to their opponent's goal and regain the points left behind. and I think Haaland is ready to go and take that point.
Behind 5 points and Arsenal still have one more game. Indeed, if you look at it, it's not that far away, but you can already see that Arsenal this season really look stunning in every game. I think the distance of 5 points will be safe enough for Arsenal if they are able to maintain concentration in every match.

Manchester City is indeed a team filled with quality players, especially on the front line, Manchester City has Haaland who has appeared impressive this season. Even so, Manchester City still has the opportunity to provide strong competition in the title race this season.

There is no need to doubt that because Arsenal know that their closest rival at the moment is Manchester City, so Arsenal will definitely play their best with a complete squad and will not let Manchester City win easily when they face him. Their match will certainly be very interesting because these two teams are not in bad condition so that the fierceness of the game in the match will definitely occur.

In fact, every trophy is needed by all clubs. Of course, if we are compared to the EPL trophy, the FA cup is still below it, but it is not only about trophies but achievements. the FA Cup is also an official competition in UK, so this will have an impact for the club to the next level. For Arsenal, if this season they win the EPL and can win the FA Cup, this will repeat the history that has happened for a long time, when Arsenal won these two competitions in one season. So IMO, there is no reason for Arsenal to not focused for win in this matches.
Certainly, today's Manchester City vs Arsenal match will be the most interesting match to look forward to.
I should probably go to sleep and set alarm to see how these two great coaches do what they do best for their team. Arteta is passionate coach, he is eager to prove his worth against whatever opponent they face, but Guardiola will probably relax little more.

I don't want to underestimated Arsenal, but I think Manchester City are somehow still the favorites to win this big match. Nevertheless, Arsenal have good record against Manchester city in the FA Cup, but I'm not entirely sure Arsenal can repeat it without mistakes.
