Actually, Arsenal performance against Man City in the FA Cup was not bad. In fact, I see this as initial capital for Arteta to be able to read Pep Guardiola game. The two trainers have worked together in the past and know each other in proven field strategies. At least Arteta can focus more on the Premier League and try to improve the performance of his young players when he meets Man City again. Like the Man United vs Arsenal match, where Arsenal lost the first meeting, but in the next meeting they were able to beat Man United. Now, this is where Arteta ingenuity is, which can always learn from defeats and improve which lines are vulnerable to being penetrated by opponents. Arsenal being eliminated in the FA Cup does not mean the end of everything, the top of the Premier League standings is still the most prestigious event and is the main target for Arteta.
Arsenal out from the FA Cup, but it's nothing to worry about for Arteta, this will reduce the burden on his players in a very busy season. Now the main task for Arsenal will be to play well in the Premier League and increase their lead to 8 points in order to be in a comfortable position. Moreover, they can even try to increase this gap. For Guardiola, the Champions League is now the number one task.

The FA Cup is a title that a player wants to win, it is not unimportant. Arsenal has now lost a game vs another title favourite, then that is a big event. The players will remember that and think about it in the next game, or the tactical talks before the game will report on it. The championship is more important, yes ok, but it's not won yet. It's only 18 days away on 15 February, so I think yesterday's game was important for City's motivation to keep giving everything to win the championship.
the competition between Manchester City and Arsenal is still not over, even though Arsenal were eliminated in the FA Cup but they are still the leaders of the standings with a 5 point lead and 1 game remaining and also if you look at the match between these two teams it is quite even, even though Arsenal lost but that doesn't mean the meeting both teams in the Premier League in the coming weeks will experience the same thing, I see that Arsenal rotates quite a lot of players but it is still at its best even though they have had unsatisfactory results.

the match between these two teams will be eagerly awaited in the Premier League next February 16, I think at that time the two teams will give all their best and Arsenal will definitely be stronger there and I am sure Arsenal will not lose again.

Yes, that's right, we are paying more attention to Arteta's strategy here, in this match Arteta is paying more attention to Pep Guardiola in managing Manchester City's strategy, it looks like what will happen in the next game when Arsenal face Manchester City, Arteta will change strategy to improve the Arsenal team's performance, a lot the changes that occurred when Arteta saw the performance of the opposing team in the first meeting, and was able to break it in the second match, here we see they will focus more on the Premier League, and improve their team's performance, especially when dealing with Manchester United in a few more weeks.

Arsenal's FA trophy match didn't perform too badly I think, the first half of the match they were still able to control the field, but it's just that in the second half Manchester City took the lead in 64" 1-0 minutes, and here Arteta pays more attention to his team's weak points and can improve in the future , as well as paying attention to Pep Guardiola's strategy and will change the game strategy when meeting Manchester City in the upcoming Premier League.

Yesterdays game was too cautious. Both teams were playing it safe and that made the match not as interesting as it could be. Both coaches were fighting the battle of tactics. Arsenal played well as you said but not as well as they used to. Saka wasn't given any space with the ball and the ball was not distributed to him much because Man City cut the supply. City weren't all that good to. Both teams were so careful not to make any errors or leave too much space in behind for the opponent to utilized. I think Zinchenko was impressive for Arsenal as always.
Like you said, Arteta better learn from this any win City in the league so they can extend their lead at the top.

It's true here that Arteta can find fault where his team's weak points are and this will definitely be improved again after they met in the Premier League against Manchester City, this defeat will definitely try to set up a new strategy to deal with Pep Guardiola's strategy, who used to be his boss so far will be a fierce opposite the two sides meet in mid-February.

We always discuss them between the two, but Arteta has been improving over the course of the season with a young team, now that Arsenal have been able to survive just 1 defeat over Pep Guardiola, will Arteta be able to beat Pep Guardiola's side? This is clearly a lot to look forward to.

Arsenal's priorities are visible in the starting lineup, but it was so clear that Arteta wants to win the Premier League, today it is one of the strongest championships in Europe, so it is very prestigious to win it. Something similar could be in the EL, if more attention needs to be paid to games in the Premier League. The most important thing is to keep this advantage, so as not to lose everything in the end, after such a good start.

A very hard win for Manchester city against arsenal in the FA cup, that was a good match to see and i should say arteta boys did a very good job, this just show one more time that arsenal will definitely not give up the EPL trophy whatever the conditions and the h2h match against man city in the premier league will be much better in my opinion
This is still a match that is scheduled for over 2 weeks, let's continue to watch closely the recent performances of the two sides. I believe Pep Guardiola as an experienced coach would still make adjustments that would ensure that Arsenal does not humiliate them as many might have envisaged. He would have already known the weakness and strengths of his side and planned to use them against the weakness of the opponent.

I believe the match would be worth watching, and I book Arsenal to win, yet, I will not be too relaxed on this analysis.
My guess is correct. After seeing the performance of the previous game, I already understood that Manchester City will ensure victory. But Manchester City needed to score more goals.

I think FA Cup is unnecessary. Manchester City can take FA Cup. Let Arsenal be the champion. It's better for Arsenal to focus on the league completely rather than stalling with the cup and confusing them. As a result, they shouldn't distract with other things when they are so close to the championship after all these years.
Manchester City has the best squad depth in the league. This was very clear again. Arsenal doesn't have such a deep squad, their bench players are not so good quality. I find this result normal.
I don't think with Arsenal not priority FA Cup in their cupboard collected this season after defeating by Manchester City last night, actually Arsenal have many chance to get tittle in this season after eliminating in FA Cup still left Primer League behind 5 points from City and Arsenal still participants in Europe League.
If you say there's no need why do you have to play rounds and play seriously until they finally fall I think it's impossible, if I don't prioritize it I think it's natural because maybe Arsenal can't focus on the whole championship to win it.

Now Arsenal looking forward with domestic league and preparing for up coming match against Everton on next month, have chance to make 8 points gap with Manchester City and Arsenal focus right now at both competition between Primer League and Europe League.
True, it should be a win for Arsenal to bring the full three points back to keep Manchester City at bay, but it could be that Everton do better under their new coach or vice versa. If you look at the performance of Everton's players which is quite good, I think I'm quite hesitant to bet on Arsenal's match this time.

The Football Association Challenge cup isn't necessary to Arsenal, but it would have been at it been they won, lol!
Arsenal's lineup and performance show how seriously they wanted to qualify for the next round of the FA cup. They played out their best but the luck wasn't just on their side, and Such is football. Now it is left for them to do everything possible by making sure that they secure more points and lead the table throughout the remaining half of the season.

Arsenal lost the game in the second half because, in the first half, they were in control of the game. The performance of Arsenal is proof that Mikel Arteta is no longer the apprentice of Pep Guardiola. Based on history Manchester City has won 13 of their 14 games against Arsenal but this game was different because City had to fight hard for this victory. But this loss is a blessing in disguise because they can now focus on the Premier League and Europa. After all, the Arsenal squad might not be able to withstand the tight schedule.

I also agree.Arsenal was playing well but they don't care that much if they were eliminated from the FA cup because they are fighting already in other more important fronts and this happened. The fact that Manchester City fought really really hard for this victory I think is a clear sign for everyone who wants to see that it will be impossible for Manchester City to win the Premier League this year so most probably they should focus all of their efforts in the Champions League and the FA cup where possibilities for them to come out as winners are real.

This result can be a valuable lesson for Arteta, he must find a way to score goals when the movements of Arsenal players are limited by opposing players. Arsenal position, which is still superior to Manchester City in the Premier League standings list, must be maintained to get the Target which has been locked since the start of the season.
I believe serious action will be taken by Arteta because he is a Manger that learns from his Mistakes.

At this stage, Arsenal needs to win at least one match against Manchester City in the premier league if they really want to win the league this season and to keep their winning consistency if they really want to maintain their position in the league.

It's a little more interesting now to see the statement issued by Pep after the match was over as if indicating that they could win the EPL with the results achieved in this match.
This seems to indicate that their war will continue, but on the other hand, I still believe in Arsenal, especially seeing what Arteta did in this match, including marking man to man, they are actually still quite effective with a squad that can actually be said to be a coating for the main team.

So that means Arsenal have to let go of the FA Cup so they can focus on the EPL, then what if the EPL trophy fails to be won later. I don't think that's the reason Arsenal lost to Manchester City, from the start the target was to enter the competition to win as many trophies as possible. Defeat is inevitable when facing a team that has the same strength as them, Arsenal level of play is quite good in this match, but the experience and quality depth of Manchester City squad are the difference.
The match was played very well, Arsenal also try to win the match but unfortunately they were unlucky as Manchester get a single goal in the match.
Arsenal side try to deploy some of their substitute players to start the match, but they are not too strong enough to face the Manchester City side because they have more squad depth than Arsenal and we both have clearly seen it; Nonetheless, its a game and it is either you win or you lose, at last Arsenal lose the match.

Every club has a dream or set aside goals to win every match and trophy they play in. But sometimes these teams look at the potentiality of winning these trophies base with the kind of squad they have and currently Arsenal don’t have that depth to be in three competitions. As the season progresses this fixture piles up and players begin to fade out due to fatigue, so many clubs takes the risk assessment approach and let go of some trophies they felt isn’t a major priority to them. Arteta already has an FA cup winning medal in his cabinet so it was reasonable for him to let go of this one and focus on the league which has not been won for more than fifteen years now. And yes just like you said they could still lose which is natural even if they stay in the FA cup but risks needs to be taken and Arsenal are on the right direction

Both of them did not consider FA Cup is so important for their club objectives in this season. Therefore, they did not use best resources for that match but with a similar approach, Arsenal have less resources to do than Manchester City. So with better player resources for that match, Manchester City won it and it is an understandable result.
What's the proof how you can they didn't use their best resources? if you watch the match, you will see both of the clubs are using their best players to play, there's no difference between FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League. Jesus and Foden are injured, that's why both of them didn't playing.

It is a big match for both Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur because they both don't want to lose it. With Manchester City, a win and three points can help them to maintain their race with Arsenal and with Tottenham, 3 points will help them to race with other clubs for top four.
If you talking like that, actually every match is a big match for every clubs Cheesy

Chelsea vs Fulham, it's a big match for both clubs because if Fulham win, they will able to reach 6th positiuon while if Chelsea win they will jump from 10th position to 6th position Grin

Manchester United vs Crystal Palace, it's a big match for both clubs because if Manchester United win, they will able to overtake Newcastle on top 3 position while if Crystal Palace lose, they're become more close in degradation zone Grin

I think that either team arsenal or menchester city were seeing FA cup as an important thing too. The thing that makes the match less attractive caused by arsenal was not often doing attacks against city. that's why the match a bit boring. We shall accept the truth if city was winning the game.

Arsenal will be facing everton soon. this could become a very good match to boost the mentality of arsenal's players again after it lost against city. City thinks FA cup has given the club better chance to win the trophy rather than EPL.
Arsenal did make a good brave decision to give up FA Cup. From now on, they can totally focus on Premier League and if anything else can drain their concentration for Premier League, it is Europa League only. Having one less objective in this season looks better for Arsenal.

Everton just sacked Lampard and it can be a good advantage for Arsenal to beat Everton in the coming match in Premier League.

Manchester city and Arsenal locks horn again in this magnificent encounter in the Fa cup. Honestly I am not hyped about this match.

Well I have my money on Arsenal in this match I honestly feel they want it more than Manchester City and they have all it takes to get it.
So far the game have been a little bit boring and calm tonight, I expected a more intense and entertaining game but both teams didn't start their usual first eleven players. I must admit that I was a little surprised by the selection but I'm happy to see Arteta trusting his second options to deliver today, surely this will also build their confidence.
Arsenal versus Manchester City is less interesting. There was no energy in the match like a team wants to win the match by all means. Will I say is because of is FA cup, not a premier league game.

The kind of good football expectations I was expecting from both teams before the match started were second to none. I was left disappointed after the first half. I didn't consider seeing the second-half match because of how both teams played in the first half.

I think that either team arsenal or menchester city were seeing FA cup as an important thing too. The thing that makes the match less attractive caused by arsenal was not often doing attacks against city. that's why the match a bit boring. We shall accept the truth if city was winning the game.
