I know this match will be interesting, but it will be very interesting if we talk a little about the odds in this fight. Arsenal are clear favorites to win the game based on the odds but do we really have to underestimate Newcastle for that @3.70?

I don't really expect too many goals for this match especially because both teams have the same strong defense. Newcastle basically has a good advantage in defense where so far they are the team with the strongest defense in the Premier League. Newcastle have only conceded 11 goals in 17 matches, while Arsenal have conceded 14 goals. I can say both teams are equally strong both in attack and defense, and this will be the most interesting match I think.

Maybe a good chance for Arsenal to increase their points to 10 points from Manchester City, but I don't think Arsenal will get it easily even if it is a home match for them. At least Newcastle can be expected to score goals, but if Arsenal lose then the competition between Manchester City and Arsenal will really heat up.

Arsenal and Newcastle have quite an interesting history in the English Premier league. Looking at their past five head to head games. Newcastle have won just one of the games and Arsenal have won four out of the five games. I think this time it will be tougher because Newcastle are not the same team they were a year ago, I predict both teams to score in the match.

This win for Brentford is doubly valuable considering that Liverpool has not lost 5 games in a row to Brentford and statistically it seemed that Liverpool is stronger, the last games he played not so bad, won 5 games and still scored, as the statistics suggested.

this is going to be a very interesting game but if you look at their last six meetings in all competitions Arsenal lead the way with five wins and just one defeat to Newcastle in May last year. That's why one would think that Arsenal are the favorites in this match. Arsenal were again able to maintain their best performance when they beat Brighton 2-4 in the previous match, this was enough to motivate them to keep a safe distance from second place by winning 3 more points.

I can probably consider a draw for this match even though Arsenal are ahead on H2H basis over Newcastle. Both teams are doing well, and I expect a great game today from both of them. @2.90 for a draw I think the odds are fair. Both need to win but if Arsenal lose then I think that's fine too.

There is no doubt that this game is a very important game for both Arsenal and Newcastle, but it definitely isn't a title decider and the fate of the league doesn't depend on it. I mean, Arsenal are already 7 points ahead in the table, it is not like they will lose top spot if they lose today and City wins on Thursday, if it happens in this way they'll still have the lead by at least 4 points which is quite great.

Having said that, Arsenal would definitely want to win, of course they would, and i think they have all it takes to do it, but what i mean is that, losing won't be the end of the world for them, they would still remain at the summit of the table no matter the outcome of these games. City themselves have a tough opponent in Chelsea on Thursday, and with their pretty bad form they aren't even guaranteed to win.

I agree with you that Thomas Frank seems to really instruct his players to close the movement of Liverpool players so that they cannot build attacks perfectly.

It’s definitely going to a tough game. Both teams are in a good shape, they’ve been very consistent for a long time now and Arsenal playing at home gives them an advantage because they’ve not lost or drawn any game while playing at home this season. Newcastle has proven to be a very difficult side to beat this season but Arsenal have their way, they know how to deal with teams like this. I am not expecting much goals as Newcastle isn’t a side that concede plenty goals.

Definitely the most interesting of today's Premiership matches will be Arsenal vs Newcastle. Arsenal have been impressive since the start of the season and deservedly take the lead. Newcastle are the biggest positive surprise of the season, having won eight of their last ten matches and are undefeated in 12 matches. The hosts are certainly the favorites in this match, but the loss of points by Arsenal will not be a big surprise. I'm counting on an interesting spectacle and a lot of goals, I bet over 2.5 goals.

Thomas Frank's plan in this match really worked, and they actually secured those 3 point at home. As far as I can see, Brentford is really able to close the spaces for Liverpool players to create opportunities, and they are also quick enough to release long passes and take advantage of counter-attack scheme to score goals. This is one of those strategies that the big team really fear, in fact I also think Brentford would beat anyone the same way as long as they didn't make any mistakes defensively.

But now Liverpool have to fight hard after the loss to Brentford, they are 2 points behind Tottenham and 4 from Manchester United. So of course Liverpool must improve their performance if they don't want to be left far from the final position of the Champions League.

Newcastle has worst performance compared with arsenal. Arsenal has a chance to make the gap with newcastle become even bigger. Newcastle itself can cut the gap to the arsenal if newcastle will able to win the match against arsenal but this is not an easy task to be done by newcastle caused by we do know that how good the performance from the arsenal. Arsenal was always winning the match in EPL and it keeps continue to make another win streak in EPL. Arsenal may lose points against newcastle but arsenal was in a very strong position right now.
