If you watch the recap of the game you will actually see that I was right about my pre-game comment. If Haaland didn't mess up he would make a hattrick in the 55th minute comfortably. Even though he scored at the beginning of the game, he couldn't make use of many goal opportunities. I was expecting Manchester City to win by a bigger goal gap.

An endless effort put in by Manchester city to score their second goal, but Southampton have denied them all their attempt, making it more frustrating for Pep Guardiola and his men. Brentford has played a brilliant game this afternoon coming from 2 goals down and quickly went on to lead the game by the 51st minute thanks to that early penalty in the second half scored by Mbeumo..which is a good lesson to all that never give up untill it's game over.

Nottinghamshire Forest is having one of their best season for the last couple of decades. They merely saved themselves from relegation last year and now with a much more balanced team, they are doing wonders. Defeated Leicester 3-1 in the home ground of Leicester.
On another match between Aston Villa and Bournemouth, I had expected a multi goal dominant from Aston Villa. They are dominating the game but has failed to score any goals till the 71st minutes. I believe they'll have a winning goal within 90 minutes.
Manchester City had an early success with Haalands 5th minute goal against Southampton. They are still aggressively attacking so I believe it would be another comfortable win for City.

I don't think difficult for predicting behidn inconsistent performance of Arsenal, after defeating by Southampton last match and seems difficult for Arsenal how recovery to winning trend in domestic league although have won in Champion League after defeating Donesk.

In my opinion, Liverpool with consistent performance since defeated by Nottingham Forest looks not difficult for defeating Arsenal and have possibility for winning above one or two goals.

In the opening match of the week, Leicester hosted this season's form team Nottingham Forest. Leicester were dominant in the first half, conceding a goal in the 16th minute, but they responded 7 minutes later and the first half ended in a 1-1 draw. The away team started the second half fast and managed to increase the difference to 2 in the first 15 minutes of the second half with Chris wood. Nottingham are doing well so far with a win away from home. They have only one defeat in 9 league games and that was at home to Fulham.

I think pep has what it takes to do whatever he wants with his players. This is why we see city going for versatile players, though haaland is the only none versatile players in the team.

IMO, haaland style of play at City is quite different when he was at Dortmund. His main job at city is to score, outplay defenders with his height and intimidating size. Though, there are some occasions where he always ghost, especially when they are up against a top side. I don't think the dribbling thing is for him. He has good feets, so scoring is not a problem and it hasn't been.

Haaland is not a player that dribbles and does not have the skill, he is only good at finishing which he does it brilliantly. The first half was with much pressure from City but after Haaland scored an early goal on the 9th minutes of the first half, Southampton was able to withstand City pressure and almost equalized the goal scored by Haaland on the last minutes of the first half, but it hit the top side of the goal post. The second half have started and Haaland have lost two good chances which he was unable to convert to a goal.

Southampton are moving the ball around with no real threat to it, they should try finding Archer more who is in front and can make dangerous runs as we saw him do in the last minute of extra time in the first half of the game with his effort hitting the woodwork of Manchester City. I have been disappointed by Ramsdale and the kind of poor passes and mistakes he has been making in this game. He looks like a Goalkeeper lacking in passion for the club he is playing for because that Haaland's first goal looked like a goal that could have been saved with a little more effort from him. While Manchester United might win by virtue of the fillip derived from their victory against Brentford, it is difficult to really expect much from them. The Red Devils' main issue this season has been consistency. Quality is something that is always demonstrated in one game, which also turns out to be the opposite in the following one—.

Irrespective of the strong squad, United always lose momentum and find it hard to keep up the intensity, especially against such solid teams as West Ham. West Ham, though inconsistent, have also tended to pick their battles and this has seen them put up very good fights particularly against the bigger teams. Therefore, while it may not be impossible for United to win, their inconsistency makes it very hard to predict the outcome of this match; it will basically depend on how prepared they are mentally and their tactics on the day.

I think a draw is the only outcome in this game but come to think of it, Arsenal need this game more than Liverpool because they haven't been getting the job done and things have been going pretty bad for Arsenal with the red cards on some of the players and Saliba as well, that is another factor to consider if they can do without him since they don't have Saka and Odegaard especially Saka who have been on the mix for the Gunners with his assist and scoring too, now they don't have the defender who have been absolutely brilliant. Liverpool is not going to be as aggressive as they were in their game against Crystal Palace but the Chelsea game they weren't too strong for me and Arsenal will also play a dull game like the Red tomorrow, just have that feeling.

Liverpool are currently in very good form and even they are a fairly consistent team and also the only team that concedes the least in the Premier League, while Arsenal probably all of us here already know with the problems they are facing, so I think Liverpool will be the favorite to win the match, if we refer to the head to head meeting of the two teams so far of course we can see if the second meeting the team is always full of action and goals, so I think goals created over 2.5 of course likely to happen in the match , especially now that the defense owned by Arsenal is very limp because Saliba will miss the match, if you look at the condition of the two teams it seems that it will be very difficult for Arsenal to win the match later, so it is likely that Liverpool will be able to continue to move away and maintain their position at the top of the Premier League standings.
