What has become of Frank Lampard's coaching career. I truly expected a great coaching from him but it's been bad and now worst. Everton under Lampard's management has been in a state of decline. I can't imagine them playing against Bournemouth now in the Carabao Cup and the same Bournemouth that was beaten from a come back (1-3, 4-3) by Leeds is the same thing that is paltibh such a wonderful football against Everton. Creating very good chances and scoring the goals as well.

The whole defence line for Everton is been a big mistake. We have N. Patterson on one side and Ruben Vinagre on the other both making defensive errors. They suffer yet another lose after loosing to Leicester City over the weekend in the Premier League.
Maybe it's true they say, that good players don't make good coach but, Zidane isn't about that!
Zidane has his best moments but a weaker one too. Without good players, it is hard to be a winner coach even if you are a good one. By good, I don't mean known or expensive players but a fit player doing perfectly what he was asked to do.
Anyway this competition isn't the main one for Everton, they are in the 16th position in EPL and should try to stay in the middle of the table to avoid the relegation zone..
Tomorrow there is Arsenal - Brighton and City - Chelsea that seems challenging. ManU - Villa might be interesting too especially that ManU was defeated by Villa these days Wink

Do you remember Southampton vs Arsenal in mid -October? the final result is a draw 1-1 and Southampton is not a strong team, they are also in the relegation zone
Well, Wolves can do the same because playing at home and motivation to get out of the relegation zone even though I actually don't believe it Wolves did it
But this is the Premier League, anything can happen even though we never thought of before it's just that there are many examples in other matches.
Liverpool lost to two relegation teams in the previous few games, that is the best comparison. So Liverpool's loss to the relegation team could be Arsenal's by the time they travel to Wolves, it's a match one can never fully predict. But anyway, not many people doubt Arsenal especially because their gameplay is very good at the moment. Arsenal once loss points, it was no more than 1 loss and 1 draw in 13 match.

I know Arsenal is not as confident as Manchester City in terms of squad depth, but Pep's side will find it very difficult to mount up, especially if Arsenal can maintain their performance, so that the match against Manchester City will determine the difference. Nonetheless, I am aware that both of them will have to lose points over time due to fatigue and injury.

If Arsenal can currently outperform Manchester City in the league while taking into account the depth of their squad, then it is not the depth of the squad that matters, but rather the players' confidence and the coach's ability to instill that confidence in them so they can play against any club. Every team has been surprised by Arsenal's constant play, and if they can keep it up, the league may be theirs this season, despite the fact that they still have a long way to go. Since the league isn't quite halfway through, their match versus Manchester City won't be the deciding factor of the title contender.

Chelsea having one of their worst season this time around with sacking good coach like Thomas Tuchel, even though he was not doing well, he needed time to bounced back to Winning ways. Arsenal won them with ease because the blues never put up a fight at Stamford bridge. I think there's still time for Graham Potter to make things right with the team because they're conceding much goals. Last weekend was Brighton which they lost 4-1, now is arsenal which they also 1 nil. Fans are not longer cheering as they having doubts about the new boss.

I think, Chelsea president need to bring in a new talented coach that can handle Chelsea players very well in a way they will start performing well like Manchester city in this season. Chelsea has missed many opportunities in this season, because their formal coach was trying to move the team higher with some new strategies he brought to introduce to the team before he got a sacked letter from the Chelsea president that made Chelsea to lose potential coach in this season. I don't think, Chelsea new coach can help them to achieve this premier league title because there are many strong teams that are well position to win the title.
I still insist that sacking Thomas Tuchel was unfair, he was a good coach and he made quite a statement and achievement in the short time he stayed at the club as the manager, he should have been given more time to sort things out too bad the club were not satisfied with his performance after the glory season and were not patient enough to give him that chance. The game against Arsenal just exposed how much they need to improve and do better and step up their game and I assume they will take positive from the game and improve.

Last season Manchester city and Liverpool were in competition for the title, maybe this season Arsenal and Manchester city will be fighting for points.
Each team will fight for points, but not all teams will fight for the title. Some of the top Premier League teams including Arsenal and Manchester City this season are likely to be fighting for the title given both of them are performing well, but I can't always believe in Arsenal even though at the moment they are very impressive.

Against Wolves, Arsenal will clearly benefit greatly because so far Wolves are still very difficult to get out of the relegation zone. Wolves only managed to get 10 points from 14 matches with only 2 wins, 4 draws and 8 losses. It's impossible to expect Arsenal to lose or draw, so it will be their win this week.

Potter is facing a difficult time with Chelsea. He was shown management to restore the glory of Chelsea. It's true that Potter should be given enough time to adapt, his arrival in early September (when the league is already running) makes it a bit difficult to instill philosophy and develop game strategy.

But even though it is not targeted to win this season, at least Potter should be able to get Chelsea into the Champions League next season. Otherwise Potter will suffer the same fate as Tuchel and several previous coaches.
Graham potter still has time to lift Chelsea to the top of the table, at least being able to close the season by finishing in 4th place. Chelsea under Graham Potter care have not been able to show their best performance in every game, which makes it difficult for Chelsea to penetrate the top 4 rankings. but I'm sure in the transfer window Graham potter will buy some players to strengthen their midfield and maybe also bring stickers to be able to achieve the targets planned this season, at least being able to reach the top 4 until the end of the season .

Underestimate- nothing
Arsenal aren't the best in the league so far, but they are performing better, but I must admit that they know how to search for points, and it has given them a swift edge over others, I  blame it on the top teams who have been napping all along.
Arsenal are best based on points and game results, but their chances are no better than Manchester City and some of the other top teams. Somehow Arsenal didn't seem to convince many people how they ended the season but as far as the season goes then I think Arsenal is still the most consistent team out of all the other teams.

Arteta has really given a lot of improvement to Arsenal's quality and mentality since last season, obviously this season they have improved well with only 1 loss, 1 draw in 14 Premier League games. The weekend, Arsenal will away match to Wolves and that will get them back in the party.
But indeed it is proof that Arsenal have grown into a great team only 1 defeat and the rest of the match resulted in points but when compared to Manchester City it is not equal and they have not met in the Premier League so don't know who is great but with Arsenal's performances so far have made many people think Arteta has changed everything for Arsenal. Their consistency and mentality is very strong for now.

Well the possibility is that it will party again for Arsenal, they always win, especially with Wolves, which can be said that this team is still very weak to compare with Arsenal.
Last season Manchester city and Liverpool were in competition for the title, maybe this season Arsenal and Manchester city will be fighting for points.

Arsenal performance is great right now and i believe with more confidence they can did it this year and achieve the title, i Know it will not be easy especially with the very good squad that Manchester city have right now, but in the premier league it's not enough to have tge best team to win the title because you will definitely play against many other strong teams
I was first concerned about Arteta's performance if he could genuinely rebrand Arsenal into the arsenal we know after years of Arsenal not performing well in leagues. I didn't have much faith in him when he was first introduced, so I looked up the current leading man in the Premier League. The best choice Arteta ever made was to include Gabriel Jesus alongside Saka is Beautiful; the duo is growing increasingly unstoppable.

From the look of things, we can see that Arsenal are seriously fighting for the title this season. The manager said he wants to qualify for UCL by winning the next game and so on. They have a high value squad and with players who wants to fight to win. The only issue they may encounter is injury to the first team players. They don’t really have depth and to be a serious contender, you need to have depth to compete at all levels. Arteta has made them play a pattern of football that can win them a lot of games and guarantee continuity.
Arsenal early season has shown its seriousness, although not least that Arsenal's early season pattern always plays optimally but when in the middle of the league it will decline. Well, the difference this season is that it doesn't happen to Arteta's current squad because their formation was formed with a fairly long period of preparation from 2 years ago.
Arsenal's seriousness is now unquestionable and has conquered several big clubs even though we are waiting for the most anticipated league match between Manchester City because it has been postponed since the death of the queen of England.

The proof must be completed where we can see Arsenal against Manchester City and this result can answer whether Arsenal can maintain the top of the table or not. Because so far only Manchester City is eligible to face Arsenal this season in the Premier League.
Arteta and Arsenal's progress as a team has always been questioned even from the beginning of the season, their are always doubts about the playing style, the available players, critics said Arsenal only played against lower teams but after the game against Chelsea this doubts have been limited and now everyone is beginning to take Arsenal serious. Hopefully the most anticipated match against Manchester City will make a statement about the season.

I was wondering about this, why is Liverpool being sold? while Liverpool performed very well in the English league and also in the UEFA Champions League. In my opinion, it's a shame to sell Liverpool because in Liverpool's game it really looks very good, I believe it will backfire for Liverpool owners if it is really sold, because so many investors are interested and waiting to buy Liverpool.
Fenway Sports Group (FSG) decision to sell Liverpool seemed sudden, but FSG considered this the right time to sell Liverpool. FSG foresight and ingenuity in managing Liverpool should be appreciated, since Liverpool ownership shifted to FSG hands in 2010, Liverpool has won several prestigious titles including UCL.

It is not yet known for certain what the obvious reason for FSG is to sell Liverpool, according to the news I read, FSG will consider new shareholders if it is in Liverpool's best interest as a club. So far there have been several names that have been rumored to be interested in becoming Liverpool's new owners, including RedBird Capital Partners and Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan, who previously offered Liverpool in 2017 but the offer was rejected.
Even mostly feeling this is sudden decision but most chances backdoor things already done, and we are going to have another big Sheikh in Premier League even right now strategically Liverpool is at the top of the Premier League, but things like this can bring more positive change for clubs because they will be able to have good flow of funds which will increase facilities for fans, and surely we will be able to have quality players which price is high and right now they are not in range of club finances.

FSG already done impressive job in last twelve years after having ownership and their hard work give them good dividend as well now hopefully we will be going to have another era for this club which will surely bring positive development and better results which is most important for the fans and peoples here in England.

Brotherhood is love
If not that Manchester City drawn two matches and loss 1, they would have been at the top because they have both conceded same numbers of goal but Manchester City has more number of score goals, that’s where they flop and since then Arsenal has been trying to avoid similar mistake. Another slight mistake from Arsenal would give Manchester City to over take them and trust me, when they do, Guardiola would be sitting there, only grace would take Arsenal back to that top 1
Looking at Manchester City's performance in their last two Premier League matches, they are not as strong as they were at the start of the season, and they escaped a draw against Fulham with a 90-minute plus penalty scored by Haaland to give them the lead; otherwise, they would have been four points behind Arsenal.
I know Arsenal is not as confident as Manchester City in terms of squad depth, but Pep's side will find it very difficult to mount up, especially if Arsenal can maintain their performance, so that the match against Manchester City will determine the difference. It seems that I have seen someone who has observed what I observed in Manchester City team but when I said it many people were against me. I have noticed that Manchester City team was stronger last season than this season.
It is just the presence of Haaland that made it look as if Manchester City is in top notch form this season.
When Haaland scored so many goals within a short time of appearance it made us overate Manchester City.
Manchester City was stronger last season than what you are seeing this season.

Things are going really bad for Tottenham in the recent times. There is a significant level of drop in their performance clearly. When it comes to their big matches in the league so far, they haven't been good at all. They lost against Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Newcastle. They got a draw against Chelsea also. This means that they still have zero win in important matches.

Conte must focus on this problem of the team also. They don't have big problems on defeating smaller teams obviously. However they just can't do the same to their biggest rivals in the league now. Tottenham have a really strong squad actually. They have the strength to upset all of those teams. Conte just needs to develop new strategies depending on their opponents.
Yea, you are very much right, against arsenal they were slaughtered in both half, they didn't impress against Manchester United too, against Newcastle you expect them to up their game and win that one but they didn't show any fight but against Liverpool I won't say same thing, maybe In the first half Liverpool were the better team but on the second half at that game Tottenham did impressed they were very unlucky not to snitch a draw from that game.

First of all I would say that the main reason why Arsenal are performing so well is that their players are very confident. If we compare Arsenal's squad with Manchester City's or Liverpool's squad, it can be seen that Arsenal's squad has fewer star players than City's and Liverpool's. However, Arsenal's performance has been consistent. I'd say it's possible for Mikel Arteta. Arteta's match strategy was excellent. He was able to strengthen the bond between the players. And so Arsenal is able to play well as a team.
There is no doubt about Arsenal players confident, but we have to remember here Arteta done amazing job with too much criticism about his strategy and things, but he keeps his head down and keep hard work which is not giving good results and now after impressive win against Chelsea they are clearly having big booster which is going to help them for having spot in top two ranks even still it's unclear how things could be after this break but if they keep this performance and quality then surely Manchester City and others will be clueless.

Arteta's strategy and work on player's mentality is also one of the best change we have in this season from first 13 rounds they have only 1 lost and 1 draw which is clearly indication how things are going into their way now they are into Europa Cup next round with their amazing performance and having tag of favourite for winning the cup is also impressive.

Impossible? We are not even om half season yet so there is always a good chance that everything will overturn. Chelsea need a bit of work but they are not really off the chart yet because they are only 5 points behind the 4th place so at this rate, anything could have happened and Tottenham isnt really that consistent either so yeah
Chelsea still have more chances to qualify for the top four, there's enough time for the blues to fight for it. It's just matter of injury that's affecting the team badly and it's really frustrating to see the team lose to both average and big clubs in the premier league. Graham Potter not happy and we all know that, he still needs time to set things right with the club. Tottenham is not consistent, I believe that they will drop form, the EPL is not easy this time around and every team have woken up from sleep.
Even though right now two places are open for Champions League spots third and fourth, but things are not easy for any team because competition is tough and with the arrival and performance of Newcastle United look like we are going to miss few big names with Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United these are candidates, but all are badly struggling which is the biggest concern for them and top three teams are having impressive run which is helping them for widening gape of points.

After many years we have one of the toughest season for top teams, and we will be able to have better view after this break because this is surely going to be amazing end of this season and now Barcelona is going to face Manchester United if they are able to pass this test then surely we can predict in next season we will have five teams in Champions League.

I find it offensive when people pretend that Arsenal will disappoint their supporters in the end because they believe that is how they perform last year. However, they fail to recognize that this year has been exceptional for Arsenal, they performed admirably this season, last season was always finding a way to win games only to lose or draw the following and not in comparison to this one. I can't recall the last time they had a linear winning streak.

Well, imo Conte himself is the problem with the team, i have always had an issue with his footballing philosophies/ideologies because i think he tends to always set up his teams to be on the defensive rather than attack, a team like Spurs with a plethora of talented players should not always take the negative approach.

Having said that, i think the reason they do well against smaller teams is because that tactics can work against them, but it won't work against a bigger team that can hold possession very good, and if Conte continues with that approach, i am afraid they will struggle to win any trophies and could even miss out on a top four finish.
