Aston Villa really continue to sink in this season. 6 defeats this season is really bad. although I don't expect much from Aston Villa. but saw yesterday's game Fullham vs Aston Villa. and Fullham can win with many advantages by scoring 3 goals in the match. and Fullham deserved the win. because Fullham played very well throughout the game. while Aston Villa didn't seem to be finding good play throughout the game. and the shocking news came after Aston villa's loss to Fullham. namely Steven Gerrard, the Aston Villa coach, has been officially sacked from the Aston Villa coach. and it happened after Aston Villa lost to Fullham.
Steven Gerrard Aston Villa hasn’t been performing really well this season. They have won just twice in the league this season and only sit above the relegation zone on goals scored. I think the pressure has been much on him to be removed as the manager following a string of devastating defeats, with Thursday's 10-man loss to Fulham summed it all.

The match against fulham was gerrard last match with aston villa, gerrard journey as a coach in the premier league was not as beautiful as his journey as a player and i think this will be an experience for gerrard to be better in the future as a coach, making gerrard as a coach is actually a Gambling for Aston Villa at that time especially Gerrard Gerrard's experience in coaching was very little and now it has been proven that Aston Villa made the wrong move, reportedly after Gerrard sacking now Aston Villa are starting to target Pochettino as the next coach.

Fulham has been in some good form during this year while Aston Villa recently have failed to get good results. It was only a matter of time for Gerrard with such results that it would not last long as a coach.Maybe it was a bit to early but as they say the sun can be spotted since early in the morning.

This is really sad. I can't accept Aston Villa's big defeat. Aston Villa is a good team they play beautiful football. They have a lot of talented players in their team. But they lost to Fulham, basically as time goes by the smaller teams are improving tremendously which we have to believe. However, Aston Villa will need to return to good form.

Leicester City did well, this win can boost players' confidence slowly and get out of the relegation zone of course. Leicester City need  more wins to regain their place in the table
It's sad to see if Leicester get relegated this season because they made history a few seasons ago and of course it can't be forgotten, we know that finance is the reason but they should be able to find a solution for it.

I agree, Leicester might now have the confidence to try again in winning a game, and I hope they give us a good watch next game, but let's just wait for Leeds United is not really a very great team to get their confidence on, next game for Leicester United are the Wolves that for me is not really that aspiring about the confidence, but the games that will surely challenge them will be the Manchester City game,

I am unhappy that it didn’t work out for Steven Gerrard but I guess it’s the right decision and right time to move on. Gutted for him, but come to think of it, Aston Villa have been terrible for years..they can’t keep sacking managers. The management should make sure this next appointment is right or should be next out the door. Steven Gerrard made a rod for his own back calling out players and constantly playing players who weren’t performing.

I really think that Steven Gerrard has done his all in making Aston Villa a great team but it is not really enough he has done the ultimate sacrifice of his time and effort in making Aston Villa a team that will make great standard, but it was all to naught and now that Steven Gerrard was out of the picture who is the next coach candidates for Aston Villa,

It's a pity that Steven Gerrald was sacked after his club recorded a 3-0 loss to Fulham, it's obvious his abysmal records and results of 6 losses, 2 wins and 3 draws and 17th on the table with goal difference separating them with relegation teams is unacceptable to the club management, from my own point of view he should had stayed at Rangers to gain more experience before taking up the job of Aston Villa possibly he might have been the right person to take up the job of his former club Liverpool after the exit of Klopp, he was performing brilliantly well for Rangers in Scottish league as while playing in UCL.

He might have thought he is ready, or maybe because the salary is high at Aston Villa that is why he accepted it, we may never know the real answer but the fact that he is not ready yet to handle Aston Villa he surely leave with an experience at hand and even though he didn't get the achievement he deserves I think he thinks now that the Aston Villa is not on his throat anymore, he can now breath easy but like I have said this can even be a great experience for him,

If Ronaldo underperforms, Erik should have back him to regain his performance skills. When Ronaldo scored against Everton every Manchester United fan and player was delighted but the idea of disrespecting the club, the fans and his fellow teammates is another thing he shouldn't have done as a player of his class. The board was so stubborn and refused to allow him to leave thereby causing all this commotion. It was clear from the end of last season that he no longer wants to stay but the board for financial gain opted to keep him.

From what I have seen so far, Manchester United's problem is half solved. The remaining problem now is to have a sharp and good striker who can score. If Manchester United can get one by January it will be a fantastic move and their fight for the top 4 will be interesting

It seems his disappointment was so great that he couldn't contain his emotions to leave the field and go to the dressing room, what he did was unfortunate with the superstar status attached to him. it was inseparable because he was very upset not to be played and left the bench before the game was over.

As a result, Manchester United punished him by not including him in the squad that will visit Chelsea's headquarters at Stamford Bridge. what can I say, his performance did not improve so he did not get the opportunity to return to being the main starter in this match.

So far, MU has undergone many changes in terms of the game, the pattern of Ten Hag's strategy seems to be looking good. right now, they just need strong chemistry.

No body is above mistake and anger gets over us in the heat of the moment like this. For you to know he is a big player and you expect to play him by that time, he has apologize already, you don't bench Ronaldo with the world Cup approaching fast.
They need those changes yes but they can still do with Ronaldo when the put the ball at the right spot he will score goals
No player above any club manager. The main responsibility of the players of every club is to respect their manager. Likewise, Ronaldo is a good enough player. The manager completely decides when and how a team will play, as we see in Manchester United and Tottenham match . Ronaldo was not brought into the match after warming up, maybe he has enough reasons. So Ronaldo should respect Manager. Because Ronaldo is now off form.

Chelsea host Manchester united  in a huge clash for the top four position.however Manchester united and Chelsea are going to the battle ground without some of their key players in both sides.

I understand the decision behind Gerrard's sacking. Aston Villa is a decent team that has been underperforming since the start of the season and Gerrard couldn't find a way to turn the performances around.
They lost 3-0 to a bad Fulham team, are near the relegation zone and have the 2nd worst attack in the league. The change will be good for everyone, Gerrard kinda lost the touch there as well.

Leicester are slowly turning their season around - an important win for them yesterday, with a clean sheet that will additionally boost their confidence.

It means that a smaller team would still hire the coach but when a smaller team sacks a coach because of incompetence,  it is always difficult for the coach to find another job.
I wish Gerrard stayed longer at Rangers than coming n to lose his job in Aston Villa.

Tragic indeed, even though Gerrard came to the Premier League with a brilliant record. He previously won the Scottish League title with Rangers. However, the Premier League does not seem friendly for Gerrard. The number of wins is less than the losses.

The decision to fire Gerrard certainly makes a lot of sense if you look at the team's performance. Moreover, at the beginning of the season, Villa had bought many important players. And this is the consequence for any manager if it fails to lift the team's performance and does not live up to expectations.

I think, Aston villa coach really deserved the sacked letter from the Aston villa president because their performance in this season is very poor. I believe, Aston villa will get a talented coach that will lead the team to recover from their losses before the end of this season, because their fans are not happy about their current results, which their new talented coach is capable to improve the team higher. Fulham really demonstrated well to deserved the victory they got from Aston villa, because their players hold their position very well not to allow Aston villa to achieve any goal until they won the match 3-0 for the favour of Fulham.

It’s a real pity he was let go. Aston villa has been recording losses and their recent 3-0 loss to Fulham just sealed the deal. His performance with the club has now made the Aston villa president to let him go.
Although, I feel sorry for Gerrard but the club had to do what’s best for the club and if that includes letting him go, then he has to go.

You should have known by now how EPL could be when it comes to the sacking of their coach, they don't think it twice and it's often very fast and surprising. You are right to pity the guy, I do too, but his record in the club is not encouraging for a club that is facing challenges. But, Aston Villa might still not get it right with a new coach yet, I believe they need more players despite their financial constraints. The 3-0 loss against Fulham is embarrassing in fairness, while Fulham deserves the win.

He was criticized enough when he decided to leave Ranger and coach Villa, his experience with Ranger was not enough to make Villa a better team.
At the old clubs he got good things but it was a different competition. The competition in the EPL is very tough as a coach not only needs strategic skills but also big financial support to build a great team.
I admire him as a player but not many great players can become great coaches too, he still needs time for that

Another crack in the relationship between Ronaldo and Manchester United head coach Ten Hag. In principle, I perfectly understand the behavior of Ronaldo, who defiantly left the bench at the end of the match when he realized that the head coach of the team had no intentions of releasing him on the field. I repeat once again for critics of such a move on the part of the player that Ronaldo expected until the very end that the head coach would still release him on the field. As a great player, he has the right to such behavior, because he does not have much career time left to spend it on the bench. On the one hand, I understand perfectly well that the most important thing for the head coach is the interests of the team, but still this situation shows obvious problems in communication between the player and the head coach.
If Ronaldo underperforms, Erik should have back him to regain his performance skills. When Ronaldo scored against Everton every Manchester United fan and player was delighted but the idea of disrespecting the club, the fans and his fellow teammates is another thing he shouldn't have done as a player of his class. From what I have seen so far, Manchester United's problem is half solved. The remaining problem now is to have a sharp and good striker who can score. If Manchester United can get one by January it will be a fantastic move and their fight for the top 4 will be interesting

And also fielding players that are not performing
He deserves to be sacked should have learnt from Frank Lampard, Liverpool should not give him a contract in the future otherwise they are going below

Although Chelsea failed to win against Brentford and Manchester United were able to win against Tottenham. The position in the standings has not changed and the one who will experience a decline in position I think is Tottenham, because that team has played 11 games, while some other teams are still 10 games (especially those in the top five).
The result of the defeat to Manchester United, brought Chelsea and Manchester United closer to Tottenham's points, where they currently have 23 points from the 11 games they played, while Chelsea and Manchester United have 20 and 19 points respectively and they have run 10 This match will be an advantage for both of them in reducing the points behind Tottenham.

Quote
So there will be a more bitter possibility for Tottenham to step down if Chelsea are able to win in the next game as the number of points at this point is getting closer (especially between Chelsea and Manchester United). BTW on the Arsenal vs Manchester City schedule why does it say "postponed" huh? Anyone know about it ?
But fortunately Chelsea only drew in the match against Bentford, so the points for the time being Tottenham are still in the number three position in the standings, even though Tottenham have played their 11th game and Chelsea are still 10 games that they have played.
I don't know for sure the reason for the postponement of Arsenal's match against Manchester City, but some online media that I searched, the Gunners proposed to postpone the league match so that they could hold a postponed match against PSV Eindhoven in the Europa League

Shocking as the clarets sack Steven Gerrard in the early hours of the day after a heavy defeats to Fulham in their 11th league game. Embarrassing moment for the players and the villans captain release a statement before the sack of the manager, McGinn claims it's absolutely not Gerrard's fault that the club is not having solid results in games and it's inconsistency that causes their defeats in other games too. We have a proper view of the 42 year former England and Liverpool Midfielder, have led Aston Villa to only 13 wins in 40 games , during his last 11months incharge of the club. Probably not a good stand for him and the board seems to have to lost confidence in him and they're just beyond the relegation zone.
I was read the latest news about this before and it's officially Aston Villa has sacked Gerrard today and actually this is predictable that since the beginning of season Gerrard cannot lifted Aston Villa performance and only fight at relegation zone and apparently after defeated by Fulham yesterday the management has decided to take this step and next match against Brentford this weekend probably Aston Villa will playing with their caretaker manager

On the other hand Leicester has successfully get important 3 points yesterday from Leeds that playing at home Leicester not necessary to control the game even it took only 1 shot on goal to win the match but Leicester has playing more effective than Leeds and 2-0 is decent scores for them and after this results their positions still at relegation zone but this can boosted their mentally to faced upcoming matches

Fulham and Aston Villa are unbeaten three tours in a row... Fulham have just one defeat in five home games this season... Aston Villa concede a lot of goals, but they also score well... It's hard to predict who will win tonight, but I think both teams will be able to score...
Fulham are one goal ahead of Aston Villa. Actually the match was tight but with the red card for Douglas Luiz from Astin Villa, I believe the match will go in Fulham's favor in the remaining time. Even before Aston Villa played with ten men, Fulham could be slightly ahead in the game, especially if Aston Villa were forced to play with ten men, Fulham would certainly have more control of the game. And it looks like they really are going to drop points again. If that happens then this is the fourth time Aston Villa have failed to get full points.
And now Fulham can double the lead.
The match was not fully tight but the thing that demoralize the players of Aston villa is the red card, because after the red card took place and this people Fulham used the opportunity to battle them, without the red card I don't think Fulham would have defeated Aston villa, so therefore, the wining did not come as a result of surprise.
Aston Villa made a lot of mistakes in this match.
Hard fouls, red cards, penalties and even own goals.
It's difficult when they've been completely locked up by Fulham and inevitably they have to hold on until the end.
Fulham excel in every way in this match and the score was quite striking which makes Aston Villa at this moment inevitably have to heat up as their position with the relegation zone is getting closer and of course Gerrard must move quickly back now to survive like last season.
