They played better against Arsenal but against City they will need a lot to improve. I think they still can make it and expect few changes in the squad against City with Firmino starting instead of Nunez will be better. Arnold injury is also not a great news, he might be showing signs of sloppiness in defense but he still drops in good crosses, shots and takes good free-kicks and that's something that will be missing. Another blow for Liverpool is Diaz injury in yesterday's clash against Arsenal which also is reported to be not good. It's injury after injury piling up for Liverpool.

For this year I am writing off Liverpool as a title contender and I believe everyone should agree with me not because I am a football expert but because anyone can watch some Liverpool games and immediately come to the same conclusion as mine.I am a Liverpool fan but I think that the Premier League is gone now and we should focus completely on the Champions League as there are single games there and every team can make a good single game and the chances are much higher in the Champions.

In the Premier League I think City will get ahead this season with a big points difference as I don't think Arsenal will be able to keep up the good run for long.

Salah is considered to have failed to maintain his good form this season, but I wouldn't say he is too bad considering Salah has scored 5 goals and 3 assists in Liverpool's 11 matches in the Premier League and Champions League. You can't expect him to keep scoring goals every matcg\h, but you can probably expect him to make a good contribution to his team in the match.

Salah has so far played all Liverpool games in the Premier League this season, but in 8 matches he has only scored 2 goals and provided 3 assists. I think an increase in form can be expected for the rest of the season, he's not the type of player who is comfortable with this kind of bad form.

Salah was like a ghost in this match. Klopp subbed him off after 70 minutes. Something interesting has happened to Salah since he signed his new contract. He doesn't seem like he is caring about showing a solid performance just like in the old times. We aren't accustomed to see him this much ineffective in a season.

Liverpool are still struggling with serious defense issues and this continues to cost them loss of points. They conceded three goals again just as it happened against Brighton one week earlier. Liverpool were not even close to this poor level of defending last season so I wonder what's changed now. As long as crucial defenders like van Dijk don't play consistently, Liverpool have nowhere to run.

I think if Arsenal can play ten more games and remain unbeaten plus defeating some top teams inclusive having defeated Tottenham and Liverpool already then they will be a title contender, I believe Manchester City are the overwhelming favourites to win the title for now based on their unbeaten runs so far and plenty of goals they had scored courtesy of Haaland, though it's too early to call the shots as far as the title contender is concerned with just nine matches played infact the gap between the top four teams on the EPL tableb is too close thus no room for complacency by any of those teams once any of them flops team below them will overtake that team because the league is getting more competitive.

Cristiano's age is not young anymore, so his running speed has decreased but his sharpness makes goals still alive. but the most interesting thing in that match was casemiro and antony, even antony made new history with MU, I am very happy to see MU's performance slowly but sure as good as now.

Arsenal are playing great now. They beat Liverpool brilliantly. Although Liverpool had more possession, Arsenal were able to capitalize on their chances and score. Arsenal took 7 shots and Liverpool only 3. Here I understand that Arsenal's defense has protected their goal quite well.

I think Ronaldo is still a great player. He is capable of scoring a lot of goals if he fits well with the team and gets enough support from the midfield players. Haaland is scoring a lot of goals this season. Because Manchester City's midfield is very strong. I look forward to seeing how Ten Hag will use Ronaldo now. We are not sure yet whether he will ignore Ronaldo or give Ronaldo a chance to play in the Premier League. However, I think both Ronaldo and Manchester United would benefit from giving Ronaldo a chance to shine in the Premier League.

Although Manchester United won against Everton, the most comforting thing was that Cristiano Ronaldo scored. His celebration after scoring showed how important this goal was for him. I hope he will play with confidence now and score goals. But Everton played well they tried their best but they couldn't win.

What's interesting about the MU vs Everton match is Casemiro. Although he had made a mistake and created the first goal for Everton. but the other side of Casemiro is class. Defensively, cover and pass very well. He didn't let his mistakes get him down. Still old but he's getting better every game. It looks like Casemiro needs time to adjust to the style of play in England.

The last time Arsenal made it to Champions League was the 2015/16 season and they didn't win Premier League, Leicester city did, now you see why people are talking about making it to the Champions League instead of the EPL. There have been eight wins in nine games. Arsenal appears to be improving from last season, and they are atop the table. To beat Liverpool with such respect, Arsenal put on a vintage performance. It's nice to see Arteta proving me wrong, because I wasn't convinced by him before. Consistency is what matters most, and they have continued to show that this year despite losing a game but playing excellently. I must admit, Liverpool's performance in this season doesn't look like their season, it seems out of character.
