One of the matches I'm looking forward to tomorrow will be brighton-totthenham. I think it will be one of the decisive matches for the top sides. Brighton in particular have been performing well this year. They got good results at home. They scored 5 goals against a team like Leicester. They managed to score 3 goals away to Liverpool. They really continue to surprise and I wonder if they will be able to win this match as well.

Brighton is insanely good this season and i think they can go really far, they already won against some big opponents plus everyone who plays against them is really struggling. I think Tottenham wont win easily here,if they get a point in this away game they should be really satisfied.

~snip~ They are the champions of the last two years and there are currently no teams that can push them this year apart from Arsenal and Tottenham. I think they have the capacity to continue to dominate the Premier League for a few more years under any circumstance.
Arsenal appeared quite consistent in the competition for the 2022/2023 season.  The Gunners still lead the Premier League standings with 21 points from eight matches.

In the Europa League, Arsenal also lead group A after achieving perfect results in two matches.

English Premier League matches are always the best, no one really becomes the club that dominates the standings, the leader of the standings often alternates.

I guess it might be time for Leicester City to start picking up more points as they will be playing against smaller football clubs in this couple of weeks, even though Bournemouth are currently sitting above Leicester City on the table in the English Premier League but I think there is a high chance for Leicester City to steal 3 points from the hands of Bournemouth in this upcoming match between these two teams.
Their victory last week was the hope of Leicester City's revival in the league, but Bournemouth also can't be underestimated, in fact in terms of standings they are better than Leicester city now, so I don't think it's as easy as you say for Leicerster City to win this match. Moreover, this will be a home game for Bournemouth which they certainly do not want to lose in front of their own supporters. Home games will usually be very influential for those who are more motivated to win in this match.
Honestly Wolves and Leicester are two teams I did not expect to see at the bottom and it is a bit of a shock to me for sure. I am not saying that they will stay there, of course I believe they will recover from that level too, but I really didn't expected them to be at that level at all, I expected them to be at a mid table level to be fair.

In the end, they are going to recover but to what level? I do not see them becoming like a top 6-7 level team anymore, at the very best they would maybe reach to a point where they would win some games and finish the season 9th at the very best case, and that is already bad enough, so it's definitely a problem.

Manchester City are looking so confident at the moment, all thanks to Erling Haaland who has strengthened the team since he completed his move to City. The problem I perceive now in the team is how much they are dependent on Haaland, I imagine the team will struggle to win games if Haaland happens to be sidelined due to injury or suspension.
Haaland makes Man City perfect, he is the ideal striker for Man City. With Haaland, Man City can rely on him as machine goal. He already proved it by creating many goals in UCL or EPL competition. Of course, the problem is when Haaland gets injured a long time. But they have Julián Álvarez as the substitution. Although he is still not as strong as Haaland, he is quite well as the substitution. He showed good perfromance and already score 2 goals in 6 appearances. I think he deserves to be Haaland's substitution. Man City should give more minutes for Álvarez to play, so he can continue to improve his performance.

I don't understand the petition for Haaland, he's a really good player and talented. A new messi/ronaldo/ibrahimovic like talent is developing in front of our eyes. I wonder what would have happened if this was done to messi ronaldo or ibrahimovic. The way he plays, the goals he scores are really enjoyable. He is a very different player for sure.

I think Guardiola has realized that so he also replaces Haaland quite often with another striker in the second half especially when the team is in an advantageous position. So far, Haaland has contributed 14 from 29 goals scored by Manchester City in 8 Premier League match, so Haaland's goals tally almost equals the accumulated goals of all other Manchester City players so it is very natural that many people think Manchester City are starting to depend on Haaland.

As a striker, it is Haaland's job to score goals. But if in the end Manchester City depend on one player then problems will arise when that player is absent. So far Haaland hasn't missed any Manchester City match, so I don't know if Manchester City will have a hard time winning match without him.

I believe Guordiola will have to change or switch the team tactical formation to false nine or convert one of his midfielders to a striker if Erling Haaland is sidelined with injury, with reference to the list of squad submitted by the club and registered for EPL only three forwards Riyad Mahrez, Erling Haaland and Julián Álvarez were listed of which Haaland is the only center forward others are more or less plays in their wings, the club needed a reserve striker especially an unattach experienced striker on free transfer can be signed to support or assist Haaland in case of any eventuality atleast will club will remain consistent in their performances.

As a football fan, I am extremely pleased with Haaland's performance. I feel lucky to witness the birth of a world star like him, but I know that there are people who do not think like me. :))

If Haaland takes a break from football with an unfortunate injury, of course it won't be good for Manchester City, but they will continue to win because Pep Guardiola has already managed to put the system in his head into the team. They are the champions of the last two years and there are currently no teams that can push them this year apart from Arsenal and Tottenham. I think they have the capacity to continue to dominate the Premier League for a few more years under any circumstance.

Liverpool seem to be performing better outside the English Premier league, they have a much better stat in the Champions league than in the English Premier league, I don’t believe the premier league game against Arsenal in the weekend will have the same faith as the champions league game against Rangers especially playing Arsenal at the Emirates stadium
It is undeniable that Liverpool is a very good team, but they have lost form this season; their match against Arsenal at the Emirates stadium will be a very difficult game, especially since Arsenal is in form and at the top of the Premier League table; they would want to keep the consistency just to maintain their position, and besides, Liverpool are not in good form this season; I just hope they don't resume their form against Arsenal and drop Arsenal to second or third place.
There is no doubt about Liverpool quality as they are still one of the best team in Europe but sadly in Premier League they are not doing good which is serious concern for the team and coach now they are going to face a big challenge from Arsenal which is currently at the top of the league table and having good performance in last few matches their home record is also amazing with this we can expect some bad result for visitors because they are not good to beat them in this match.

Liverpool need a big win which give them good confidence, and they can change fortune with this match as well even hard job but still achievable because they already have good result in last Champions League match against Rangers, and now they can repeat this again but here they need good strategy and better performance.

Arsenal - Liverpool is obviously the main event on this week. Arsenal are in a pretty solid condition in the league now. It was important for them to win against Tottenham and they did it by a solid effort. Maybe the red card was a help also but Tottenham were already not as effective as Arsenal before that too. Arsenal play really different in Emirates. I mean they are more capable of controlling the match without looking at the opponent.

Liverpool are still having defensive issues. Even van Dijk isn't reliable recently. I wonder if Klopp will be able to find a way out. The win over Rangers would be a boost in their morale but I still can't trust them much here. If they can't get better at defending in this one then Arsenal can win this. Besides both teams should be able to find at least one goal easily.

Arsenal is at the top of the table with 7 wins and at the same time, Liverpool is not doing so well. Liverpool only has two wins in 8 matches. That is certainly not ideal for them. Liverpool was supposed to be the team that was going to challenge Manchester City for the English Premier League title.

But right now that does not appear to be the case. And on the other hand, Arsenal is playing really well. It feels like Arsenal is actually shaping up to be the one that may actually give Manchester City a true fight for the title. But it is still too early to say anything because we know how Arsenal can suck in a short period of time. Last season, Arsenal was supposed to be in the top four, but they lost the number four spot in the last match to Tottenham.

I know it is still extremely early in the season, but this game is more important than anyone would think at first glance because it is "only" game day number 8 or 9, respectively. If Liverpool loses this one and Arsenal wins (logically) along with Manchester City, that would make it 13 points in difference between Liverpool and Manchester City. I can't see a realistic scenario where Manchester City loses 5 games during the whole season whereas Liverpool wins every single game until the end of the season. Being behind 13 points against City is almost game over.

I know I sound drastic, but wouldn't you guys agree? Does anyone really expect City to literally fall apart for a couple of weeks while Liverpool doesn't?

Chelsea will easily secure a win against Wolves. Because Chelsea are in much better form than them and Chelsea have good quality players in their team. I expect Chelsea to win 3-0. Their victory with this small team will show motivation for the next games
Wolves are in the relegation zone, of course, it will be more profitable for Chelsea. Chelsea certainly wants to eliminate Brighton from the top 4 of the current standings. 3 points in that game will be important for Chelsea. especially positive results after the match against Milan. Of course, Chelsea has the motivation to get a big win from the Wolves.
I will bet on Chelsea's win.
Yeah, a good chance for Chelsea to have fourth spot in Premier League table because currently Wolves is badly down and out with no luck working for them as well because their record against Chelsea has never been bad which is surely interested but with current form we can expect a good win for Chelsea and Brighton which is going to host Tottenham is also very interesting match where Tottenham surely looking for win after losing a match against Arsenal this could be good opportunity for both English clubs to have their best chance for staying into top four.

After last win against AC Milan in Champions League match there is fair chance for them to destroy Wolves with their quality and skills because now time for them to have good results after some bad time which give them good shocks and lost of their coach.

I also had the same concerns but I think City has lot of quality in their squad. They have good wingers like Foden and Mahrez who can score goals and then they have players like KDB, Gundo and Silva who can also go up the field and score goals. Also they have Alvarez who is a good striker of the ball as well so I think they have taken quite some things on note before actually going for it. I think they are gonna do fine even if Haaland gets injured as they have lot of goalscorers still.

Manchester City players are now more confident after scoring 6 goals against Manchester United. Haaland and Foden in particular are in great form right now. And now that the team is confident, they will play well against any opposition. The next match is against Southampton. I think Manchester City will be able to win this match as usual. However, Manchester City is becoming overly dependent on Haaland's performance. If Haaland misses any match due to injury, it will be difficult for Manchester City to win the match.

Currently, Erling Haaland and Manchester City is the most lethal combo in soccer world just eight matches and 14 goals what a start of this season for this wonder kid their quality is surely unanimous, and they have enough quality players those are capable of giving good support to this amazing player for having best finishes for them.

Here many different issues are created by many peoples even they are not checking all Manchester city line up and talking without Haaland Manchester City can face issues, but it's not going to happen because even after departure of few quality players from here like Rahim Sterling and Jesus they are doing good job, and they have enough firepower which can give them better results without Haaland.

Did wolves sack Bruno Lage, then expect the game tough one
Chelsea will eventually win but it's going to be tough
Diego Costa at Stamford Bridge what should we expect from him

Bruno Lage was a decent manager but it was obvious that he was gonna sacked after poor performance coming into the new season but squad will need a good strategy to put up a good fight against Chelsea which I doubt from the interim manager whoever they have given the command to. Costa signing is more like a backup as they already have good strikers but prone to injuries. With both Jimenez and Sasa injured, I think they should start Costa and if they do then I think there is a slight possibility of Wolves surprising the Blues.

I’m very convinced that Arsenal will beat Liverpool on Sunday. I would have said otherwise if Arsenal were traveling to Anfield, but they’ll go to the Emirates and with the form Arsenal are on, I don’t think Liverpool will have a chance. This season looks way too different from the previous seasons and we can all see the seriousness and readiness in the Arsenal team. They always want to create those chances and have players in those positions to convert these chances. Liverpool have not been performing well and they’ve not been defensively clinical since the start of the season. Going against an Arsenal side that have scored a lot of goals this season is something any team would like to face now.
Arsenal are currently a better side than Liverpool. We could not say that last season but this season Liverpool have dropped in performance. It’s hard to put Arsenal ahead of Liverpool in ranking because I think Arsenal are the most criticized team currently in Europe, but let us face the fact that Arsenal have been in good form this season with a record win of 7 wins in 8 games, this team deserves some credit for the good games they have played. For what it is worth, I have a feeling Arsenal will win the game.

We may try to predict the outcome of a match between Arsenal and Liverpool, but the peculiarity of football is that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Football is unpredictable. Liverpool can show their character and put up a serious resistance to the Arsenal. It will not necessarily be a victory, it is enough to equalize and this will already spoil the Arsenal's contendership for the cup. In my opinion, things are going too well for the Arsenal to get the title. I think the team will make some mistakes and Manchester City will take the lead, leaving the rival without a title for this year.
Arsenal's work this week is much tougher than Manchester City. Arsenal must prove their consistency against Liverpool in the matchday 9. Arsenal are only 1 point adrift of Manchester City who are currently in second place, and this week Manchester City have the opportunity to reclaim the table from Arsenal if they win the match against Southampton.

I believe Manchester City can beat Southampton, it will be a match they have to win especially if Manchester City want to put a lot of pressure on Arsenal. No danger I think, Manchester City are favorites for 3 points at the Etihad stadium this week.
Yes that's will difficult ! Arsenal until now continues to struggle for get full points, but in this match vs Liverpool it will not be easy, although Liverpool this season is not doing well because it has not shown consistent performance for the title, but this club not a weak club. For Manchester City they should be able to get full points, but I hope in this matchday 9 they can only share points so that they continue to be motivated in all competitions.
