No one expected Liverpool to win by just 1 goal over Crystal Palace, as you said Liverpool were only given small odds to win which means we should have seen a bigger score and more goals from them here. Due to Liverpool's victory this time, it brought them to the top position of the PL standings at the moment while their opponents (Crystal Palace) have to enter the relegation zone because they only have 3 points from the 7 matches they have played. Worse still, they're the same as Wolverhampton and Southampton who have never won a single match.

Liverpool is the best premier league team this season, they're outperforming Man city recently. However, the match with Palace turned out boring at a point after their first goal, which wasn't Liverpool's fault, but that of crystal palace players, they weren't competent for Liverpool to exhibit a better team play that'll enliven the game. It seemed like Crystal palace was comfortable with the 1:0, that's why they dulled the morale of the reds, assuming they came forth to compete on a level ground, the match would have ended with Palace conceding more goals.

Not sure about such assumptions, '"about'' many expect Liverpool to win with a big score. Because anyway, basically Crystal Palace is not a completely weak team and also, Crystal Palace playing at home is certainly not an easy match for Liverpool to win. So, I'm sure no one is expecting  too high like about winning with big score, because just winning with a score of 2-0 or 1-0 is also enough for Liverpool to secure three points in this obviously not easy away match.

In addition, I wonder, what are the '"odds" you think for Liverpool in this match? because as far as I know the odds  for Liverpool are also not too low not like 1.20 and not 1.30. Because anyway, on a few different platforms the Liverpool odds are still very decent like 1.60 and also 1.50 and  on stake.com, I got it at 1.53 and that's not a bad odds at all.

Fulham are really pushing their luck against Manchester City and am not surprised knowing very well that these lads are terrible when it comes to defending, and lucky for them they managed to get a goal back after Fulham got an early goal through a Pereira goal in the 26th minute...if game reminded as is, City would have danced.
As things stand game is still locked in at 1-1 as we head to half time and City seems to have found theirs spark and I see them winning this game .

Elsewhere, Arsenal still struggling to breakdown Southampton as this looked like a walkover after a big result they got over PSG, but of course game is not done and they can still redeem themselves easily.

Indeed Liverpool are really progressing, winning Palace by one goal all they way from first half till full time wasn't really easy because any slightest mistakes can lead to an equilizer though Crystal palace defense also did a good job if not the goal would have been more than one. When i watch Crystal Palace play i see eagerness among the players to win but it's just so unfortunate that they haven't record their first winning yet after 7 games as they were only able to play 3 draws and lost 4 games and they are currently at 18th position in the league table. I feel for Crystal palace coach because there will be so much pressure on him now.

a very nice play from Liverpool and it's now 7 games played so far with 6 win and just a single loss. With  18 point on the top of the table and and 3 point above arsenal and man city who are still hoping to win today's game just so they can equal Liverpool, it's a very good  result for the Liverpool team even though they only managed to score a single goal in this encounter. On a shocking one, folham has gotten a lead against man city in bearely 31 minutes of play even though man city are holding the game down and have thr greater possession so far in the game. It's interesting to see the nature of the table most expecially at the top with serious battle going on among five major teams who have shown that they aren't in the league for the purpose of mere participaton. With the kind of result we've seen thus far, anything can happen before the seasons gets anywhere close to an end.

Manchester City may not win their last match against Newcastle. The match was drawn 1-1. Manchester City dominated the match but failed to win in the end. And Manchester City lost the top spot in the table as they could not get full points in this match.

Manchester City's opponent in today's match is not a strong team. However, Fulham have lost only one match this season. and is sixth in the table. However, Fulham is a much weaker team than City. However, Fulham's defense has been strong this season.

City's performance against Fulham was very good. We have seen City win each of their last 15 matches against Fulham. And most of the match was won by City dominating against Fulham. So it is expected that we will see the victory of City in today's match as well.

I almost picked Liverpool to win with about 2 goals or more but I had a second thought and gave them a straight win else I would've been very disappointed from the outcome of the game, Liverpool did well to maintain the first position in the table, they were there best side in the match despite being the visiting team, I think they could scored more goals but could only convert 1 out of 16 shots with only 4 on target, that's how better their attacking mentality has gotten with Arne Slot, well it's good Jota scored that early goal to help them achieve all 3 points to make it 18 points for them. Manchester City are currently playing against Fulham although they're still finding it a bit difficult to score, despite being at their home ground, however they're putting much effort to find the back of the next and they have better chances of winning Fulham. Arsenal on the other hand are still sharing same fate against Southampton at their home ground too.

Interesting times! Liverpool has gotten 10 points from 7 games addition to the result of today's 0:1 victory against Crystal palace. This now temporarily places them 4 points ahead of Manchester City. Just so you know. That all important goal today came from Diogo Jota, which was well  assisted by Gakpo in the 9th minutes of the encounter. Manchester City has been performing as one of the best teams this season, currently competing with Manchester City and Fulham. Arne Slot needs to sharpen Liverpool front line to be more productive like in the previous match, the sharpness of the front line can give them credit to continue to be at the top of the standings.

Liverpool opened the seventh week match with a win and Crystal Palace still haven't been able to get a single win so far, maybe it's true as you said the current Crystal Palace coach is under great pressure.

This match was fierce and indeed this match was dominated by Liverpool and that's very natural because Liverpool didn't want to waste the opportunity to continue to get three points in order to stay solid in first place in the EPL standings.

In this match it was very clear that Liverpool were ambitious to score a quick goal in order to control the course of the match and Jota managed to bring Liverpool ahead in the 9th minute, the goal started from a through ball from Tsimikas to Gakpo on the left side, Gakpo then sent a beautiful pass in front of the goal and Jota who perfectly finished it well. The goal was the only goal because there were no additional goals until the end of the second half.

Although both teams were trying to score goals, Liverpool still wanted to score goals by dominating possession while Palace tried to build counterattacks, but Van Dijk and Konate's defense was too tough to penetrate. With this result, Slot managed to bring Liverpool to remain firmly at the top of the EPL standings with 18 points, while Crystal Palace is in 18th position with three points without a single win.

 Many people who expected that goals will abound in this Liverpool game will surely be disappointed by the turnout because the odds given to Liverpool to win was very small and which meant yhst they should have taken advantage of it to pour goals but Slot more than anyone is content with the scoreline as it has enabled them to further their lead on the table with them being at 18 points. I also feel that Liverpool were lucky enough to win that game. They still dominated the game in the second half, but what was different was that they were no longer able to create as many opportunities as in the first half. On the other hand, Crystal Palace had more chances than in the first half, but they failed to convert it into goals because Liverpool defended pretty well and Alisson played quite impressively.

It was a less than convincing victory, but still, the 3 points obtained further secured their position at the top (for this week at least).

I purposely pick this two teams because their are my concern for today premier league, the top three are playing today which I expect reshuffle but unfortunately Liverpool have escaped it by winning their matches against Crystal Palace, Liverpool really suffered crystal palace as if they where playing home games by dominating ball possession, I applause for Crystal Palace for holding Liverpool without adding any goal apart from the first goal to the end of the game. Arsenal and Manchester City are hosting their opponents which I expect change in their position, Manchester City have a goal difference away from arsenal which I expect changes because many goals will showcase but let see how the end will look like.

The only goal in the 9th minute for Liverpool saw Liverpool win at Crystal Palace with far more possession despite Liverpool wasting more chances in the game. Liverpool are now still at the top of the table due to this win and Manchester City and Arsenal must also fight to win today's game which is being played at their respective home grounds so that they are not left too far behind Liverpool or overtaken by the other two teams who are currently below them, namely Chelsea and Aston Villa who are also quite close in points to Manchester City and Arsenal.

Yes from the start Liverpool played very excited and scored in 9 minutes of the game. Although Liverpool attacked to score more goals but couldn't succeed instead Crystal Palace made a stop and they also played well. However, in the first half and the second half, I tried hard to counter Liverpool but it was not possible, but the team had to lose despite many attacks. However due to Liverpool's strong performance, today's game is under a great win and they are at the top of the points table with 18 points.

Liverpool was very lucky today to get all three points in this match because if it wasn't for luck, the match would have ended in a draw but Eberechi Eze couldn't make that happen when he had the opportunity. Liverpool stays on the first position on the table with 4 points ahead of City who is yet to play their own match in the few minutes with Fulham. Topping the table currently is not the big deal but it will become a big deal when the season is close to an end.

Eberechi Eze needs to do better in important games knowing he is now the most important player for Crystal Palace. He cannot keep having chances and then taking those chances very unseriously because those chances may not come again. He had the best opportunity to get the game leveled for crystal palace today but because of his careless attitude towards playing football it cost them the opportunity. Crystal Palace coach made a mistake not starting Mateta, because he is good holding player who uses his strength really well, and gives other players a chance to play.

Slot is having the best start to his premier league career. Liverpool have done the job for this week, they will now wait to see how Arsenal and Manchester City do in their own game.

A late faulty strike from Eberechi Eze denied Crystal palace an equalizer against Liverpool. Liverpool gave away lots of chances carelessly and I would've been very happy if they were punished for it. Crystal Palace was better in the second half but Liverpool defended their only goal with all their might.
