Speaking of Manchester United, in the last few match since the Premier League start I saw Manchester United playing with a different formation. Like against Brighton, they could obviously start with Cristiano Ronaldo from the start, and put Rashford and Fernandes behind Cristiano to keep the balance in midfield but Ten Hag used a 4-3-3 formation. I am yet to understand the essence of the friendly when the season has already began and there are risks of players getting injured in the match. I don't know the reason for the friendly. I was thinking maybe they want to test their second eleven but people in the line up are still familiar people like Fati, Busquest, De Jong etc.
The match is currently 1:1 and it might end in draw.

The right choice and I totally agree with this.
When the duo Varane and Martinez are so good what a gamble to have Maguire on the pitch.
Last season he was a clown and in the first 2 games they were the same. Maguire didn't give a good performance and I really support Varane and Martinez keeping their defense now.

The problem is that their performance is sometimes erratic which makes it still difficult to predict for them.
Maybe they can still give the same performance next week when their defense is still Martinez and Varane but when Ten Hag replaces again with Maguire I think it will be difficult.
On the bright side it is likely Casemiro debuts in next week's.

People shouldn't really expect the worlds from United just because they won this game. I am not saying that we shouldn't really be doing this, all I am saying is that United may not be good because of that first two games as well. We have seen them be terrible for 2 games and be good for one game and suddenly just because they had a good game, everyone started to think they will make a comeback, recover, and be a great team. I do not expect that at all, they will surely have many more bad games, do not think that they will be bottom half, they will be top 10, but not top 4-5, thats not going to happen.
