There are only a few hours left for the closing game of the week. Normally I would be very excited about a game between Manchester United and Liverpool. But now it feels way different because especially Manchester United are in a terrible shape. Liverpool seem much better but their results so far haven't been satisfying at all. This might be an important chance for them to win for the first time. I believe this will happen.
The fact is that only Arsenal can run smoothly in the first 3 matches. Yes they performed so well that they could get past 3 opponents with a win. Although Arsenal have not found a stronger opponent than them, they are able to increase their confidence with what they have achieved so far. I have now concluded that I should not have too many expectations from a club no matter how big or small they are because in football the games are always unpredictable that is why you see unexpected results Liverpool and Manchester United both are desperate to win this match but judging from previous performances Liverpool is still in a better position to win the game.
Yesterdays matches proved this point. Will i say the expected competition from the PL is now here and so every club is putting in their best to replace the former and regular top 4 that was becoming a norm almost each season. It will be a thing of excitement to see clubs that never grew above the middle of the table rising to the top 4 and also having the chance to play in the CL next season.This time the line for prediction has become even slimmer . I didn't expect much for Man United. Maybe a draw alone is very good. Pre last season they won, but the result of two games this season made say very hesitant for tonight's game. I don't know if casemiro can already perform yet, I don't know. But if you look at Liverpool's performance, they are actually not very good. Like many people, I was wrong in my guesses. Nobody expected Chelsea to lose like this. They conceded three goals without even scoring, got a red card, and Koulibaly was suspended the next game. Leeds United played great, they must be given their due. I don't know how Chelsea will fix this situation.

It bring memories of games after the Covid-19 break although then, it was due to Covid-19 complications with players getting isolated but it's far from it now. Leeds yesterday was certainly out for 3 points and nothing more. They were fierced and the whole Chelsea team was terrified to hold the ball for too long. A tension rocked the team and the Leeds defence was virtually impenetrable by the Chelsea attack.
Manchester City are just cheats in the EPL. Not like a fixed game or something but, thy are just too good to lose a game just like that.

I understand your disappointment and how it feels when your favourite team underperforms. However, I believe they still have a chance to do better in their next match if they don't end up with zero points. Remember last season when Arsenal was struggling to make it to the top four even though New Castle didn't give them that chance until the final rounds, they had a similar performance like Manchester United is having right now, they called them names like "Top to Bottom" because their name starts with A and Premier leagues usually arrange names in alphabetical order but I was surprised when they gave Chelsea some simple lessons with 2 goals last season.

Liverpool's chances of winning are very convincing for the match against Manchester United. Liverpool have an almost 60% percentage advantage in their probability of winning, but I don't think that will be a guarantee to determine they can win. I think Liverpool should convince me enough to get that win, so they can't drop points again for the third time in a row.

Although Manchester United have a bad record against Liverpool in the last 5 meetings, coupled with poor performances at the start of the season, Ten Hag doesn't want to keep losing every game played. Ten Hag will try to bring Manchester United out of relegation, although Liverpool are not an easy team to beat, Manchester United should be able to surprise like Leeds United beat Chelsea with a landslide score.
I lost money in a lot of matches at the beginning of the season. In most of the matches, the favorite teams either lost or drew. Betting on Premier League matches is very risky at the moment.
