Erik ten Hag relies more on young players who are full of energy and motivated to achieve great results. He used to work like this in Ajax, and it seems that he hopes that the same scheme will work for him at Manchester United. Ronaldo is a professional and he will score goals, it’s more a question of what kind of relationship Ronaldo and the team will have, because if can believe the rumors, then Ronaldo’s agent was actively looking for a new club for him. And this is already a signal for ten Hag that he needs to look for a replacement and the sooner the better.
Ten Haag needs a bit of time to fix the squad. No one should judge him on the basis of one or two matches. His work at Ajax was exceptional and to fix a team like United is a heavy task for him. He is gonna check his options and will eventually come out the best squad to work out with for the time being. By the next window I predict he is gonna make some signings in areas he thinks need some fixing to do.
I am sure Ronaldo will find his playing minutes. Ten Haag is checking out his strategies and he also needs to have patience and believe in manager right now when team is facing some tough times.
Not only Ten Haag, but all coaches should be given more time to improve the team's performance.
Manchester United should learn from their repetitive mistake after Sir Alex decided to retire as a coach.
They used to hope too much from a new coach but they did not give longer time for the coach to prove.
However, I still doubt that Ten Haag will be able to make United back to what they were in the golden era with the current squad.
They need some more fresh great players to replace the existing players who are not really give contribution in the last few seasons.

But that change is going to take time to happen. To change a squad so drastically is likely to take a lot of time and money. Manchester United bought a lot of overhyped players with too much money and now they are suffering because of that. It has also made the players feel under pressure due to the amount of money spent. And obviously, they could not either fail or do anything well with those players.

So as a coach it is obvious that the results are not going to come fast because it will take time to fix the whole squad again. In conclusion, it seems the coach will not make much of a difference after the first match, but let's give him some more time and see what happens.

If Ronaldo can be trusted by the coach and has a good impact on the Red Devils' game, I think playing Ronaldo from the first minute is a good choice. this must be done to secure a quick goal to be made.
but I don't think United's problem is that. they are not a club lacking good players. but they couldn't show an effective game. they hold the ball very long but don't plan the attack well.
but I am not sure, Ronaldo's game can be a differentiator in United's game later.
That is your perception and I think if Ronaldo was played in the first half maybe Manchester United could have played more aggressively in the first half. The first half was so chaotic in defense and midfield that they looked easily overpowered by deadly passes from opposing players. but it's an early game and there are still 37 rounds to go I think erik can make the best of it to get 3 points. there were no major changes that took place in the manchester united squad in this summer window which made their playing situation unchanged like last season.
Undoubtedly, there are still many games ahead of this season, but to see the loss in the very first game, for a club of Manchester United level, it seems to me a bit of a disappointment.  Brighton & Hove Albion is a good team, I don't want to say that they are worse than Manchester United, but I would like to see MU win in this game, which unfortunately didn't materialize. On the other hand, this trouble can benefit MU and they will pull themselves together, which will allow them to show their best qualities in subsequent games. Easy wins can relax the team, otherwise, they will have stronger motivation.

Chelsea - Tottenham game can hopefully be a competitive one. Tottenham might seem like they started the season by a better result. However things can change a lot when it comes to head-to-heads. And Chelsea have a quite big dominance against Tottenham there recently. Because of that I would prefer Chelsea to Tottenham in this game if I have to make a choice.

The main problem with United is not the coach, or the players but the club in general. The owners and united legends have been using their quotes to designate the club, Sir Alex Ferguson still have saying in the club, not just him but others have been dropping quotes and also have a right to point out players that he feels like is suitable for the club. I strongly believe that Erik Ten Hag will push United to his best capability, but their signings this summer, I don't value the players. United needs experience players which the young ones in the team will imitates and put up an impressive performance.

Basically Ronaldo is no longer comfortable at Manchester United, for that reason I personally don't believe Ronaldo will give everything he can to make Manchester United rise. At least there is still time until the end of the month for Ronaldo to leave, because for me it will only be useless if Ronaldo is maintained and played from the early minutes because here Ronaldo doesn't seem to have any targets. So yes, even so, Erik ten Hag must continue to make Ronaldo the main player, because it is not appropriate for Ronaldo to be treated as in that match.

Maybe there will be surprises, such as transfers but I don't know. Ronaldo's age is old, his agent has offered ronaldo services but no club is interested yet. I think staying at Man United is a good option. If he could improve on Man United it would be even better. Rather than them he had to go.
I'm just guessing because barcelona has to throw away its players to register new players. I think the alternative of throwing out to Man United is pretty good. Man united had bid for De Jong but failed. The Spanish league has a player registration deadline, so let's wait.
Adrien Rabiot seems like a good choice. Man United is likely to buy a midfielder from EPL or pull Martinez to the main roster and buy a striker to replace Ronaldo in the future. Man United is also in negotiate with Watford for Ethan Laird, a right-back. Erik ten Hag's plan for Man United is slowly revealed and Ronaldo is not going to stay in for long.

Yes I am sure, Erik Ten Haag will bring Manchester United back to be feared, but of course it requires a process. In addition, Ten Haag must give full trust to Ronaldo, even though there are many oblique rumors spread in the media that "corner" Ronaldo. But the presence of Ronaldo clearly contributed greatly to the Red Devils. Against Brentford in the second week, Ronaldo must be played from the first minute and I am very sure, MU will achieve a positive result.

Refreshment of players on all fronts is another term for the need for funds. I also don't think PSG is stronger than Manchester United, but their seriousness in trying to realize their dreams is evidenced by the financial support from the club.

If in England there is Arsenal which is said to be a club that prints good players and then sells at high prices while still being coached by Arsene Wenger. When Arsenal are currently being coached by Arteta, things have changed. Maybe Arsenal in the 2022 player transfer will be a club from England that spends big money to buy players. That should be what the club Manchester United should do.
With the current conditions I think PSG are superior, They are dominated by great players although there are some battles between players due to their egos but this does not have any impact on their performance on the pitch.
Unlike Manchester United now, they still lose some motivation in every line. Although indeed in terms of players they are still very good and among them are young players and can be said to be quite expensive but this doesn't mean anything now because apart from the lack of chemistry they also look like kids who are learning football.

Richard Arnold was a hard friend of Ed before, he was just like a new bottle of old wine when he took that CEO position. See how he works no different than a few years ago, slow and lacks of direction. The difference now is just listening to the coach more because he admits he has no football expertise lol. If MU now wants to change for the better, time to have someone who has both heart and expertise like Van de Beek just like when it was in Ajax.

When it comes to bit of business thing there needs to some kind of coordination between coach and the director. It's not like football expertise or something. At times it is possible that both director and the manager or coach might argue about something and have different vision and I have seen a manger sacked like this. There needs to be an understanding which is essential. Both coach and director needs to believe in each other to keep things in good motion.

Regardless of what happened between him and the club I don't think he is that selfish. Indeed in this case for now he does not want to play at United but I think when he is confirmed to play his ambition will still continue to overcome his dislike of being at United. He is a robot full of ambition and I think he will continue his great form this season even if he doesn't want to be here.

Every time they change coaches, Manchester United always has high expectations. I mean they played well just at the start, but they weren't able to keep that up. Now the same scenario seems to be happening again, in pre-season they performed well and even got high confidence. But they did not show it in the inaugural Premier League match.
Rebuilding a large ship is certainly not an easy job and will not change as quickly as turning the palm of the hand. It took a lot of time to get there.
Manchester City need refreshment of players on all fronts. Not one or two people including a refresher on the club management.

Just look at the game against Brighton last week, players like Fred and McTominay, they just run up and down and every now and then they commit a foul that could have a chance of getting a card from the referee.
Not only the time needed, but must be supported by large funds to achieve the desired target. Manchester United must look in the mirror of PSG, it is not easy to become a big team without the support of large funds, MU must migrate like PSG did to return to glory in the Premier League and Europa. I'm not saying United are a small team, but as long as the wings are broken, it's been very difficult to fly further than expected. Now Ten Hag is trying to heal the wounds that are befalling MU, but it takes time and funds so Ten Hag can make MU fly again. MU management must facilitate everything that is needed by Ten Hag so that MU can fly back to the top of the standings.

Ronaldo is crazy (in a good way) and he will try his best in any situation. But it will be better for him and for the club if he comes out from the first minutes of the game - even in the first round without him the team played 0-2, and with him (although he did not score) 1-0. In terms of comfort, it's hard to find a player at United who feels good these days  Grin And yes, I think Ronaldo will leave United before the end of the month.

Ten Hag can't find any star striker at the moment. He kept Ronaldo in his match plan. And that's why he didn't take any substitute player for Ronaldo. But Ten Hag should have taken Ronaldo's alternative player in the team. Even if Ronaldo gets an offer from a renowned club, he will leave Manchester United. Despite having enough funds, Ten Hag did not bring any new star players to the team.

The defeat in the first match was a crushing blow for Manchester United.  Instead of wanting to get up with the new manager, he had to suffer defeat at home.  The second match against Brentford must be won by Manchester United, otherwise the situation in the Red Devils dressing room will escalate and will have a huge impact on the club as a whole.  In addition, Ten Haag must put their trust in Ronaldo, even though CR7 is still very reliable.
