I was not impressed even with the victory Manchester City had today because ordinarily Manchester City is supposed to win this game even with 3 or more goals but they struggled in this game with many attempts and many corner kicks which led to them having more dominance in the game, most probably south Hampton knew they were not going to win so they hd to do everything to maintain a lower number of goals conceded before rhe end of the game. Importantly they have been able to get three points even if we did expected more form them.

However, the match between Real Madrid vs Barcelona just ended, with Barcelona taking the lead with 4 goals to nil, a clear clean sheets, despite how the goal which was scored by Mbappe at first half was was rejected for offside after a video assistant referee was checked.

It seems there is bad news about Jérémy Doku the player of Manchester City. I don't agree with you that Manchester City won their game easily today, Manchester City took the lead very early with Haaland scoring the goals but after the goal they find it difficult to convert all the chances they created to score more goals and it made them to sweat so hard because they were attacking and defending at the same time because of the 1 goal they were able to score.

If you watched the game very well you will realize that despite the Southampton players being mindful of how they approach the City attackers but then Southampton made two good attempts which was saved by the Manchester City goalkeeper otherwise it would have been 1:1 draw.

City could have scored a few more goals, but in some moments they were unlucky, in some moments Southampton's defense played quite reliably, but the most important thing is that they were able to win this match. Nothing is happening to Manchester City. People who think Manchester City were mid in today’s game only say so because of their expectations and standards of what a Manchester City scoreline should be. If it were to be any other team that played against such a defensive side that City had to compete with today, they would be receiving praises for getting the three points. Southampton chose a defensive strategy because they know playing anything else will result in them conceding more goals than necessary.

Alphonso Davies is young and has lots of prospects, it will be career suicide for Davies to play for Manchester United who are now a mid table club, if he wants to play for a English club, there are plenty more options available for him.

I wasn't sure if City had the power to bring in the best players, I was thinking it was quite possible we may see some bench players and even some youth players as well, they have so many youth squad players, a lot of players came from City academy and that is a good thing, many people claimed Pep spends money to win, but when you compare with other teams, City spends way less than most and still wins and even has academy players they grew in the 8 years Pep has been there.

This situation is very unusual for Manchester City especially when they face a small team like Southampton. KDB's absence has a big impact on Manchester City's performance because, the players seemed to have difficulty taking advantage of opportunities even though they managed to dominate the match. Guardiola must find a way to make his team more productive because their journey to defend the title this season is not as easy as last season. The threat from Liverpool needs to be watched out for so that they can perform better in the next match.

Any Premier League club would put 10 men behind the ball against Manchester City. It's no surprise. City will face teams with similar strategies until the end of the season. This was already expected even before the game started.

It's kinda stupid for a weak club, like Southampton, to play openly against Manchester City. They're in the relegation zone. So, they have to play defensively. Even Arsenal did the same as what Southampton does recently. But, i thought Manchester City performed better than the previous one. They created more chances, which were lacking in their previous games.

The goal was actually scored at 5th minutes into the game, and not 9th minutes just as you stated above. But however, it was really an interesting game watching Manchester City vs Southampton play today, despite the fact it ended with only a single goal, which we never expected, as we all thought it will end with 4 goals, just as previously played, because I just lots my bet, and I'm sure many people will also lose their bets too.

Moreover, it's 67 minutes already between the match against Everton vs Fulham, as Fulham is already taking the lead with 1 goal to nil, been scored by Alex Iwobi at 61 minutes into the game, as there is a high tendency this game is likely to end draw or a win for Fulham. But let's see how it goes.
