I didn't see Man United having a good chance throughout the first half, except for one goal scored by De Ligt, and on the contrary, their left side is too easily exposed, and that became space for Southampton to penetrate. The left side needs some improvement, otherwise they could concede a goal from an attack that starts from that side. Ordinary I would have agree with your opinion but considering the fact that Manchester United has been in a mixform at this early stage of the season, I can't totally agree with you on what you said, though many people are expecting Manchester United to win this match because the hosting team are not their equals in terms of football but Manchester United has not given us the assurance not to doubt their performance, no doubt this match is a very significant match for Manchester United manager, my question is, can he give the club the desired result today? My problem with Erik Ten Hag is his formation and changes sometimes, he doesn't know how to make changes, he does some change when he is not suppose to and it is bad for a manager like him.
Despite how bad Southampton has performed so far since the beginning of this season, we should not forget that sometimes it is very difficult to win a newly promoted team because they may not like to continue losing and the current form of manachester united may give them the mind to play without fair of losing to Manchester United, although anything is possible but let's not be too sure of Manchester United in this ongoing encounter between them and Southampton.

Nottingham Forest I think is not a big obstacle for Liverpool to be able to get 3 points again this week.
Liverpool's performance at the beginning of this season is quite impressive and especially for their big win in the last match against Man United has increased the confidence and mentality of this team so I think against Nottingham Forest it is possible that Liverpool will be able to win the match easily.

I do not see any serious match today as the big teams are playing people they should easily win. Southampton against Manchester United is just an encounter between two struggling teams with one having little advantage over the other. This match may be a very serious test for Erik Ten Hag who have been under fire for the woes of United this season. Manchester United played three games, won one barely with a last minute goal against Fulham at home, got destroyed by Liverpool at Old Trafford, and lost against Brighton with a total score of 2:5 goals in three games.

Southampton lost away from home against Newcastle while having 78% ball possession and 19:3 shots. I think it is quite simple to see that Southampton had a huge chance to win that game, but couldn't score the goal. Then they had indeed a very weak game against Nottingham Forst. It was an entirely different game to my surprise and they deserved the defeat for sure.

Against Brentford, efficiency was once more making the difference and despite overwhelming ball possession and 8:2 corners, Southampton again couldn't score the goal, but they delivered serious resistance. However, Brentford got away with scoring the goals while not having the ball very much.

Now you conclude that this world class Manchester United team should beat Southampton easily if they are at their best. I believe if this time Southampton does not concede an early goal and get a bit more lucky when it comes to finishing attacks, this game might well end with a victory for Southampton.

I also think Manchester United should beat Southampton because they are better team and more experience. But Manchester United not playing well lately and that is worrying. Their manager Erik ten Hag has made some questionable decisions and it is unclear if he can get best from his top players. Southampton by the way they are new to Premier League but have shown they can put up tough fight. Manchester United are more likely to win but it is not compulsory. They need to play well and stay focused.

There is absolutely nothing Manchester united will play that will surprise me today given the fact that they remain the most unpredictable team in the premier League with a manager who can not figure out the team problem. Southampton is currently sitting second to the bottom on the table with zero point from three matches played. This show how awful they have been too this season but who knows they might have their first win of the season today against Manchester united due to United inconsistent? If Manchester united fail to defeat Southampton today, they probably have no business being in top ten this season. I will consider even draw as a loss from them.

If Manchester United should be at their best in that game at St. Mary's stadium today against Southampton, winning the game shouldn't be a big deal for them but we've seen this Manchester United play games in recent weeks and how they've been inconsistent with their performances.
The club manager Erik ten Hag seems to be too u unknowledgeable to be in charge of such a big team with world class players so you never can be sure of the results from his team.
Southampton who was promoted to the English Premier League this new season hasn't shown any sign of a club that's capable of beating a supposed big team but if they get the chance to punish Manchester United today, be rest assured that they'll take it.
To me, it's a game that's winnable for both teams but Manchester United I think have a higher probability ratio of winning

Today is going to be a very competitive game with Manchester United vs Southampton. It will be more than possible for Manchester United to win this game today, because Manchester United is occupying the middle of the points table.
