Manchester United first game under Erik Ten Hag was a good one, the club is off to a good start. They won Liverpool in the friendlies, this victory is a boost to their morale though I think preseason result doesn't determine a club's result in the season. You can start the preseason on a high note and still finish bottom of the league. Preseason matches are experimental games to better understand the fitness of your squad and your opponents as well.
That big win for Manchester United against Liverpool has a very great meaning to the fans, to the players morale, to the coach confidence and to Manchester United as a whole. Assuming there was no win, or there was loose many hopes would have been down by now.
The team was able to play ball and make passes from defence to opposition eighteen box. What the club needs is to reinforce the defence by signing one more, get a defensive midfielder and then a striker to follow up Martail incase Ronaldo will leave.
After checking the highlight yesterday it's well cleared to me that manchester United, will be having a beautiful season under the management of Erik ten Haag. Perhaps, I can assure you that, cause I saw a wonderful display against Liverpool in their recent pre season games, their performance in that match is one of the best I can remember, it was a quality display by them.
Actually the result of a friendly match cannot be a parameter, after all, Liverpool in that match did a lot of experiments. This means I don't see
the actual Liverpool game, so it's only natural that Man United can beat Liverpool with a big enough score. Actually, if we look at a friendly match,
don't focus on the result of the match, but look at the progress of the two teams. Indeed, I admit that Erik ten Hag managed to make Man United's
game much better and I saw quite solid teamwork in that match. For Man United supporters can at least be entertained by Man United's victory,
but do not rush to conclude Man United will do well in the Premier League. There is still a lot for Erik ten Hag to improve from Man United,
including Erik ten Hag still need some new players to strengthen the Man United squad, because with the current squad I'm not sure Man United
can compete with other big teams in the Premier League. But at least a victory against Liverpool could restore the morale of Man United players
who had slumped due to playing badly in the previous season.
