Manchester United first game under Erik Ten Hag was a good one, the club is off to a good start. They won Liverpool in the friendlies, this victory is a boost to their morale though I think  preseason result doesn't determine a club's result in the season. You can start the preseason on a high note and still finish bottom of the league. Preseason matches are experimental games to better understand the fitness of your squad and your opponents as well.

That big win for Manchester United against Liverpool has a very great meaning to the fans, to the players morale, to the coach confidence and to Manchester United as a whole. Assuming there was no win, or there was loose many hopes would have been down by now.

The team was able to play ball and make passes from defence to opposition eighteen box. What the club needs is to reinforce the defence by signing one more, get a defensive midfielder and then a striker to follow up Martail incase Ronaldo will leave.
After checking the highlight yesterday it's well cleared to me that manchester United, will be having a beautiful season under the management of Erik ten Haag. Perhaps, I can assure you that, cause I saw a wonderful display against Liverpool in their recent pre season games, their performance in that match is one of the best I can remember, it was a quality display by them.

It is a really nice start for Manchester United. We can't consider them great by only an unofficial match of course but this still shows some good things about them. This kind of victories before the start of the season can be helpful for the team to motivate themselves more. However Manchester United haven't still completed their needed transfers on the other hand. After they complete these successfully we can hopefully see a solid team in the Premier League this time.
Manchester United defeated Liverpool yesterday and that winning have sparked hopes for the club's fans, but the ultimate question is, will Manchester United keep a consistent winning strides all through this new season. The last season was one of the worst season in Manchester United history.

Winning that match is surely a good start. I appreciate how Ten Hag did his best to get a maximal result in that match. He provided the best lineups and choose players who play aggressively. Although Liverpool lineup wasn't their best, but it won't always be easy to beat Liverpool. I think Liverpool released too many substitution players, while Man United mostly used their main players. However, winning in this preseason match is good to boost the morale or mentality of Man United players.

A nice start but it is too early to celebrate. Liverpool players wasn't that fit, they missed opportunities and wonder know how could these teams use any tactics with such a huge number of substitution, it is like 3 teams were substituted!
ManU will continue playing games so we will see if they could maintain good results or not and how Maguire will perform since he didn't play in Liverpool game.

Koulibaly move to Chelsea is still a shocking move to me. Few days ago, the Senegalese was keen on contract extension with Napoli and now he's in Stamford bridge. He's blues new centre back, then lost defenders in the transfer window, and they they got a new centre back, not just a centre back but also one with the capacity to maintain good conduct with his teammates. He always do better on the pitch and he kind of have this kind of tackling strive that always meet up his target. He will impressed blues fans and I can't wait to see him start games in Stamford bridge.
No doubt, Koulibaly is a perfect replacement of Rudiger. When you check the ability and energy both guys use to play, you will appreciate them. But some people are saying that age is not friendly with Koulibaly. But however it might be, it is still a good business for Chelsea.

I like transfers that are so fast like Koulibaly and Chelsea, not Manchester United and De Jong. If you have money and know what you want, go for it
The difference is quite significant and I can't even compare Koulibaly with De Jong.
The reason for the fast transfer here, apart from Chelsea paying according to what Napoli wanted, Napoli also didn't mind releasing him as long as the price was right. Unlike Barcelona, where there is no clarity there which makes this incomparable.
But saying that Koulibaly is the right replacement might be true considering that in this case Koulibaly is also not bad even though Rudiger's skills are clearly superior.

Btw previously, Manchester United performance under Erik Ten Hag was really impressive, they can control almost all sides and can turn off quickly every time there is an attempted attack from Liverpool. in this friendly match Manchester United can win 4-0 even without the presence of Ronaldo.
Winning in a friendly match proves nothing as the competition is actually much tougher. I don't think Ten Hag was convincing enough even though today he could make Manchester United win that friendly, so we'll have to wait to see him in the Premier League. But good, he started to test his strategy.

Ten Hag needs time to test some strategies during pre-season and he should get a good formula when the league starts. He must be able to convince the management of Manchester United that he is the right person to bring Manchester United back to their best, hopefully it will work for him.

It is understandable to say winning in a friendly match proves nothing but what is the essence of friendly matches, they are to assess the team's performance and individual performance to see the progress and aspects that need working on and in that game Manchester United showed progress and improvements in their game against Liverpool which fufills the purpose for the friendlies. Manchester United were serious in the game, they had to be after having a bad season. Kudos to Erik Ten Hag

Yeah Hopefully ! later in real premier league Manchester United match made by Erik Ten Hag can have a perfect season, at least being in the top 3 is even better if their get the title. But I'm not so sure because the friendly match is only a warm up and also a manager assessment of his squad, although the results achieved are quite awesome.
Friendly matches are like the adjustment of new players to old players. Manchester United under Erik coaching has indeed received quite a positive response from the Red Devils fans because since Ferguson departure there has been no coach who has been able to provide a historical milestone for Manchester United, maybe we can hope that Erik can bring Manchester United back to the top of the standings next season.

Talking about targets for next season, I'm sure the Manchester United fans really hope that Erik can bring Manchester United to the top 4 and bring Manchester United back to the Champions League.
At least this can be a pretty good target considering that in this case the title position in the first season is indeed quite difficult, but indeed when looking at the top 4 positions I don't think it's grandiose for them especially with the squad they have actually quite good though indeed need adjustments from the right tactics and strategies there.

Newcastle are said to be after Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak now. He is one of the skilled young strikers I believe. He is an important player for Real Sociedad currently so it won't be easy for Newcastle to sign him. By the way there was a drop in his performance last season but he is still only 22 years old. He is open to improve himself I mean. The Premier League can be a good place for him to shine too. It is a tougher league but I believe he can improve his game at Newcastle.

We may be able to distinguish these top 3 EPL competitors because it is easy for us to guess even though the results are not yet possible because this time each club has improved its players with current purchases, such as Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United doing good efforts in everything to prepare for the upcoming season, maybe also Chelsea is not a candidate in the top 3 but I think Chelsea still have a good performance then I think it might be in the top 3 again.

Some of the top players who have entered the Premier League are getting tougher for a match for them, but believe Manchester City will still be champions this season, so that's my prediction too.
I wouldn't rule out Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United in the top 4, but about the title I think Manchester City will still be first. I don't think they will play badly or sacrifice the Premier League for the Champions League this season, but yes anything is possible even if at the moment they are still the best in the Premier League "in the last 5 seasons at least".

My top 4 picks are: Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea. Whatever people say, that's my choice this season.  Wink

I thought Chelsea will not get players to join this summer probably because of the issues with they were facing with the change of ownership and the head of transfers leaving the club, and the new owner of the club taking the position of handling negotiations at the club but the team plans are showing a different case. They have completed the signing of Sterling, and the Koulibaly deal has already been agreed with Napoli, it’s surprising to see them pull these deals within two weeks.
It's just that Chelsea lost some time in the transfer market due to the change of ownership, but this does not mean that the club did not deal with such issues at all and the club immediately began to act actively when there was some clarity in the management structure of the club and clarity in financial matters about the estimated budget of the team. It is safe to say that Chelsea last season was the club that, until the middle of the season, was a serious competitor to Manchester City and Liverpool in the fight for titles, and in the FA Cup and League Cup in general stopped a step away from the title, losing both finals to Liverpool in a penalty shootout. Therefore, if Chelsea can strengthen properly this offseason, then the club should be a serious competitor to the leaders this season, because there is a foundation and the coaching skills of Thomas Tuchel.

Paulo will be a good option I just can't wait to see the season kick off. If they get it done I'll be happy to see Dybala at Manchester United Left footed players like him are unpredictable, but if he comes, what's up for Mason Greenwood when he returns and Amad Diallo ?

Mason Greenwood's career is already over. He isn't returning to football anymore. You must have heard about the scandal related to him. When it comes to Amad Diallo, he was on loan at Rangers FC but he didn't find many chances to play either. There is no way he is becoming a part of the starting eleven at Manchester United as well. As a result I don't see him as a rival to Dybala now. Dybala wouldn't have problem on being in the starting eleven but I wonder how he would play in a completely different league.
It will be a plus if Dybala is joining Manchester United but it would definitely will be a good signing if they can get Dybala to join them. He's very good and i think he will fit right in the team if he joins, though Italian football seems a little different but I have the feeling he will be able to cope and blend in quickly. The competition he will face if he joins will not be Diallo rather he will have Sancho to compete with. The aim of bringing him to the team is to create competition right so that will play fine for United.

Before the start of the season for Manchester United, had a good result against his opponent in a friendly match. Last season was not a good season for Manchester United could have had a better season with the squad in hand, this expectation is by too many fans. Manager changes vs. the team couldn't find its full spirit. Harry had a bad season at Meguire, but I think this may have made him more ambitious, he can be a good captain with a different coach, I think be given one last chance.

With their performance against Liverpool even though this is only a pre-season it will still be a good thing and expectations are quite high from Manchester United.
Ten Hag is currently carrying out a mission which is actually quite difficult in the hope of reaching a higher league with the condition of the players still not optimal even though they are quite good in terms of names and individuals.
But if we look at this there's actually a bit of hope with young players and it looks like Sancho is starting to be trusted now.

Why do Arsenal and Man United try to sign Kante? They must know he is a key player for Chelsea, it is almost impossible to sign him. As far as I know, Chelsea has no other defensive midfielder that has the same capability as Kante. Even if they have Jorginho, Jorginho still can't play at the same level as Kante. I am really sure that Chelsea won't lose another key player after they lost Rudiger. Chelsea must be aware that they must keep the quality and the quantity of their squad if they still want to compete for the title in the next season.

They must have already known about this. Kante is one of the crucial players for Chelsea at the moment. However Arsenal and Manchester United both want to consolidate their defense. Especially Manchester United are in a bigger need now because Pogba has left the team. If they don't bring a strong player to the midfield they will stay weak there. They were already bad defensively last season and this would make things even worse. However Manchester United are interested in Frenkie de Jong more seriously now.

Well Manchester United won their first game against a huge opponent and this is a good signal for them. But i still dont see how they will win the title or be in the bery top without any good signings. There is a little time and they didnt bring any huge names in their team
Even it is still too early to say that, apart from the defeat with such a striking score it is still pre-season and indeed both teams are still looking for a good composition and even if we look at how many Liverpool core players have started.
But I like things like this because even though this is a first step but at least this can be a reference for the league next season.
