I can say something on this topic. Ronaldo has been one of the legends already. Trying to fill his place with a very young player like Antony might not the be good choice for them. Antony is a good player of course I don't have any problem with that. However the teams he has played so far are Ajax and Sao Paulo. He still hasn't proven himself at a much bigger European team. He can still be bought for the future but Manchester United need to make up for that terrible season now. Therefore I'm not sure if this is the right action to take.

Choosing to stay at Manchester United was better for Ronaldo than having to pursue his ambitions with Barcelona, he had to make new history with Manchester United and is also always remembered as one of the best players that Real Madrid ever had.
