Didn't Chelsea release Lukaku to Inter Milan on loan because some of the requirements Chelsea wanted had been met by Inter Milan.
Lukaku was Chelsea's worst signing last season. He failed to contribute to Chelsea so Tuchel very rarely used the services of Lukaku last season. Lukaku lost to Timo Werner and Kai Havertz.

The problem is that inter milan not agreed yet about the loan fee .

Chelsea ask for 10 million euro plus add-ons and inter have not responded it yet.

Why bother then getting him for x10 the asked loan? It is like having much money to throw for nothing. Lukaku this season wasn't in top of his performance and didn't add a lot for Chelsea. He was a key player back then in Inter which would be better to get him for that price. They might want to see Chelsea lowering the fee since they don't really need him with Tuchel on management..

There is no team that raheem sterling cannot play in at Europe right because he is so good and talented,I use to doubt him when he start seeing game time at Liverpool but later on he improve drastically,his second season he form a strong partnership with Luis Suarez and Daniel sturridge,they turn the premier League up side down and raheem sterling provide lots of assist, he went to Manchester City to improve more and he learnt well from the likes of Yaya toure, David Silva and Vincent company,at present he is a leader at this Manchester City team.

Sterling is an elite footballer, with massive experience and good injury record, i wonder why pep wants to sell him when Manchester city have an agey player in Riyad Mahrez. At 45m, Sterling is a good catch for Chelsea; and MCFC Also get good money for his value, with just a year left in his contract, this is a good deal for both parties

In any case, what is done is done, and they rarely ever player with a striker, they have players who are playing in "forward" positions, like on offense, but they do not have pure strikers like mbappe, ronaldo, haaland those type of players are lacking. With nunez they "may" have found something like that and I am guessing that it is going to be fine for them, wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

They can still make use of Sterling for an extra year or sell him out this summer for a reasonable amount to recover some percentage of the huge money already spent on Haaland and Alvarez. Either way, I think Guardiola's attacking line is still ok and good to go.
