Maguire will have to focus on the pre-season training and first few matches to get a position in Manchester United squad. His position is no longer solid and reserved for him by default.

De Gea deserves to be a captain from his long journey in the club, and so many contributions for Manchestef United over many coach eras. He is not only talented but also professional. Another candidate is Scott McTominay who is a home-grown player and has a good position there. Maybe Ten Hag has his plan for McTominay too.

A captain must be able to be a motivator for his colleagues in the field. Everyone can be a captain but not everyone can carry out the task well. Names like De Gea are suitable to earn that trust, apart from De Gea I think Cristiano Ronaldo can also be considered. Because his leadership on the field is very good.

Lukaku played for Man Utd flopped thereafter he was signed by inter Milan, he excel in Seria A by scoring goals, however Chelsea despiration to have a quality striker approached inter milan knowing that his stinct at Man Utd was fruitless thus unperturbed they sign him with a huge sign on fee, unfortunately he was a shadow of his former self in the club having performed below expectations, I don't think inter Milan is ready to buy him back with such a huge sign on fee except he move on loan or Chelsea will be willing to sell him at a lower sign on fee.

They have been in talks with Romelu Lukaku's agent, but I haven't heard anything impressive ever since, could talks of getting Paulo Dybala cool down pressure to get Lukaku out of Chelsea and back to Inter Milan?
Thomas Tuchel shouldn't be another Antonio Conte who chase's Diego Costa during vacation prior to the new season, I hop he settles anything between them. But for me, Italian Seria A suits Romelu Lukaku much better.

It will be very competitive and I don't want to see him sitting on the bench next season, he should take he's decisions, to either move or stays.
Thomas Tuchel on the other side should be careful, else he might be the first premier league Coach to be sacked next season.

A realistic scenario, because the news from what you mentioned earlier is projected to close the gap that will be left. I think in the near future there will be an official announcement from the team. I don't think so. Antonio Conte had built a team around Romelu Lukaku, that's why he was so succesful in Inter milan. I've heard that this last is going to take for another time Romelu Lukaku in his team, but I don't think

that he will repeat his performance as the last years.

Lukaku had a terrible performance last season. Although, he was performing quite well at the beginning of last season, but started finding it extremely difficult to score goals. Perhaps, next season might be more productive for him. But, it seems he is no longer interested in playing in Chelsea. But do you think Inter have intentions of bring him back to the club? I don't blame Lukaku much. Because Chelsea had some minor issues which affected the team performance.

Romelu Lukaku is one good striker Tuchel sign during the transfer window then, things were going well first when he arrives at the team, he was competing with Ronaldo who also happens to be at United. These were the two top strikers that were trending then, they both were already competing right from day one in the Seria A. When Lukaku closed on Ronaldo on the scoresheet rankings. Both with the ways things suddenly change for the Belgian striker, Lukaku. He became worst when he came out of injury and Tuchel kept him on the bench due to his unfitness in games. Lukaku going to media publicly, opening up about his desire to leave the team and going back to Inter was not a good idea but this single act makes Tuchel to set him as a bench warmer.

Lukaku has been saying for at least six months that he is not satisfied with his position at Chelsea.
From controversial statements to a weak performance on the football field, Lukaku is a player who could have already been dismissed to follow other directions, because then neither he nor Chelsea are winning.
Unfortunately his performance wasn't what we expected him to be at Chelsea 8 years ago, but I don't blame him... he just couldn't fit in.
