For now Manchester United seems to focus their target on De Jong. various information currently manchester united has reached a personal agreement with De Jong. But Barcelona put a price of € 100 million for the club who wanted to get De Jong. Manchester United's first offer of €60 million plus additional funds has been rejected by Barcelona. There is no recent news from Manchester United whether they are willing to make a second bid for Barcelona or will choose to retreat to get De Jong.
Barcelona are currently trying to balance their finance with the sale of de Jong and that's why the first offer from Manchester United was immediately rejected by Barcelona, I think, it's only natural that Barcelona set a high price on Manchester United, especially so far Manchester United is the club most interested to recruited de jong, but I also think that if barcelona stays strong in its stance of course manchester united will look for another midfielder who does have the same quality as de jong but can be obtained at a cheap price, after the first rejection from barcelona, reportedly manchester began to approach Milinkovic-Savic as an alternative if their fails or resigns from de jong, Milinkovic-Savic is currently a midfielder who has quite impressive performances with lazio and it is reported that lazio will be ready to release Milinkovic-Savic if a club is willing to pay 80 million euro.

Until now I have not seen any new players that Manchester United are targeting, whether they are working in silence or are they still looking for players if they really need it. They have to act fast for the transfer market because if they slow down, they could lose the players they want because they lose quickly to other clubs.

I have not heard much too concerning Manchester United buying players for next season, it as if the market is for only Liverpool and Manchester City to buy players. Manchester United should realise that the club needs young players who are full of energy. Manchester United position this season they are supposed to be serious in getting players.

Manchester United really need some of the best players for their team next season in order to be even stronger in all matches next season, but with an offer of that size I think it makes sense for Barcelona to turn it down. Because basically Barcelona is in need of a lot of funds to build a better team next season even though Barcelona are currently in a financial crisis. But it would also be very good if Manchester United were willing to make a second offer that was slightly higher than the first to get De Jong.

Reputation first.
This league just keeps getting more and more exciting. After another insane season by both City and Liverpool - they don't look like they will be slowing down anytime soon.

Both teams have brought new strikers that are among the best in their generations and both teams are still looking for players to strengthen the teams. They are really pushing the bar too high for the others.

It will be really interesting to see which striker will settle better into his new team. Although it will happen at the beginning of the season, that might already give one team a decent advantage in the title race.

Yes sir, they are two really great team. But for the next year I see something of very interesting from Tottenham and Chelsea, Tottenham with Antonio conte will do great things, Antonio Conte is a big manager and we've

seen what he has done in this months, about Chelsea the change of management will take some fresh air into team and this could take something of very good for them.

Let's see what will happen !

I don't agree with you.
I believe De Jong will definitely be able to adapt to the Premier League game, especially De Jong under Coach Ten Hag, with whom they worked together at Ajax.

Firstly Frenkie de Jong never playing for a club from the premier league which may be one of the reasons that de jong will need time to adapt to the premier league
second i know ten hag is a ex ajax coach and de jong has been playing for ajax for about 3 years. But what needs to be understand is that coach and players are in different situations, they are not in the Eredivisie league, the Premier League is clearly very different from the Eredivisie league, so both will  need time to adapt and adjust.

La Liga and Premier League are different and will De Jong want to take risk to join Premier League? I know he is smart enough to smell the risk when he looks at his ex-teammate, Donny Van de Beek have been struggling in Manchester United through three coaches, Solskjaer, Carrick and Ragnick. No good position, no future for Donny in Old Trafford. I guess the same scenario can happen with De Jong in Old Trafford if he plays here.
I think it is not easy for Frankie de Jong to adapt if he agrees to move to Manchester United, the wide difference between La Liga and the Premier League is an indication that Frankie de Jong needs to adapt how he can perform with a pretty good performance with Manchester United next season. La Liga game does not require players to always be actively moving, in contrast to the Premier League for almost 90 minutes, players are required to be in a position as fast as possible when defending and counter-attacking. Takes a strong physique and I see Frankie de Jong doesn't seem to be able to fully adapt to the rigors of the Premier League game.
There are differences in the different leagues but the differences are not much to counter the fact that football is universal. What differs is the coaches approach.
That is the reason a caoch from German league can excel in England and vice versa.
De Jong can adapt quickly in any good team, I mean a good team. The case with Van der beek is that he met a disorganised team and he was most times played out of his position.
Do Jong is smart and energetic and with the cooperative team in-place, he can perform well.

I think De Jong will be the main choice for Ten Hag in Manchester United's midfield, especially when Manchester United's midfield lacks players whose character is like de Jong, who is able to give the ball to the Manchester United striker.

The Italian League and the English League are very different from each other. In the Italian League, center forwards with high physical strength can be successful. But in the English League, only strong physics is not enough. To be successful in the English League, it is also necessary to have high technical skills. I don't think it's a coincidence that Lukaku hasn't had successful times in the English League.
I think you have a point, the English Premier league has its peculiar feature that distinguishes it from other league. This was the case of Andriy Shevchenko when Chelsea signed him from AC Milan. He really struggled to adopt to the English style but he couldn't until he had to be loan to his former club. But I am sure Romelu Lukaku would be different next season. Last season served as a lesson to build his technical skills and he would have mastered positioning and accuracy. If he trains hard, Lukaku might grow to be in the same class of Chelsea legends like Didier Drogba and Nicholas Anelka.
I don't think it's necessary to take the example with Andriy Shevchenko too far, because Romelu Lukaku himself previously had success in the EPL with Everton. Chelsea had Romelu Lukaku early on but Chelsea didn't seem to need him after getting him in 2011, then Romelu Lukaku was loaned to West Brom and then on loan to Everton and Romelu Lukaku was successful at Everton until finally Everton signed him in 2014 to 2017. After that Romelu Lukaku moved on to Manchester United but his performance was not so good, then Romelu Lukaku moved to Inter and was successful again with Inter. Unfortunately, after such a long process, Chelsea looked back at Romelu Lukaku and bought him again from Inter but unfortunately, Romelu Lukaku's performance did not live up to expectations.

Shevchenko played with a legendary team in Milan. Gattuso, Pirlo, Nesta, Maldini, Stam, Seedorf and others. To tell the truth, Chelsea were also a legendary team at the same time, but they were a newly formed team. Abramovich's influence was just beginning. In such periods, some compatibility problems are normal. Shevchenko's failure is somewhat plausible. But Lukaku used the same luck over and over and got the same result. I think Lukaku had a lot of luck, but he misused his luck every time.

The premier league next season is going to be highly competitive next season because most teams are signing quality and potential players to their team. But I think the competition for the EPL title next season will be among Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham. These are the top teams that are allegedly to win the title, but as they say, the best team wins. We going to see tough and incredible results from the these teams next season and the coaches of these teams will do everything within their reach to make sure they don't disappoint their team.
The Premier League haven't been boring any season. It considered as one of the both interesting and tough League in the world. While, next season will indeed be very competitive because most of the big clubs are already making plan to strengthen their team with more talented players, in order to compete for the League trophy. Although, last season was amazing, we witness the high competition for the EPL title which took place between Liverpool and Manchester City. However, i can't probably predict who will eventually achieve the title next season.

You are right about the premier league next season,  it will be very tough, even from now you can see how the big teams in the premier league are selecting the best players in their teams to win trophy. Next season will be more tougher and Interesting than this season. I'm still very sure that Liverpool and Manchester City will still lead the premier league next season.

Shevchenko and Lukaku are different at the times they joined Premier League. When Shevchenko transfered from AC Milan to Chelsea, he is nearly 30. Back in that day, Shevchenko was still in his best time but at 30s, he had no longer been flexible to adapt to a new league. I guess it is one of reasons why Shevchenko failed in Premier League.

Lukaku is different, he has three times to play in 4 clubs in Premier League: 2 times in Chelsea, 1 time in Manchester United and 1 time in West Brom. Only in West Brom, Lukaku got success. I think he has no issue with Premier League and if there is issue, it is issue with his club, coach etc.

I haven't heard any transfer news other than De Jong, actually they are moving quite slowly. Currently, many teams have taken action to make transfers, but Manchester does not seem to be working on this situation.
They wanted to get Darwin Nunez but they couldn't get him either and Liverpool did. Let's see what kind of names they are interested in in the coming days Smiley
In the situation they are in now they should move quickly in hunting down players if they want to make a change. Except they don't want that and just rely on most of the players who strengthened Manchester United last season. But don't let their slow movements make them regret later. But I think they need a refresher in the Manchester United squad.

The big money that Chelsea spent to bring Romelu Lukaku back from Inter Milan was not in line with the expectations they had hoped for. Lukaku did not appear as ferocious as when he was still strengthening Inter Milan, due to his declining performance, Lukaku warmed the bench more because he was not included in Thomas Tuchel's first-team squad.

I think this will continue but it doesn't mean they are not moving at all.

if you look at Darwin Núñez performance with Benfica who has scored 32 goals from 57 games played during his joining in 2020 the high price to sign him I think is quite appropriate for him.
and to be able to adapt to Liverpool style of play I also think it won't take long because Klopp Liverpool are very characterized so that one or two players who just joined will be carried away with the rhythm of the existing game.
I hope this transfer will be realized, I believe Núñez will have a positive impact on Liverpool performance.
He is a very good player, am sure he will succeed in the premier League, because he has strength, he is fast and aggressive, these are the qualities you need to succeed in the premier League and he is also technical and skillful for a guy with his physique that's a bonus, I hope the deal go through because is nice seeing new talents playing in the premier League, would have love Tottenham to take this opportunity and bring Sadio Mane to London if they can't get Lautaro Martinez from inter Milan.
