Liverpool seem to be very decided about transferring Darwin Nunez from Benfica. It would be one of the most attention getting transfers in the Premier League. I don't doubt it. Liverpool have good strikers like Firmino and Jota now but Darwin Nunez is another level for them. He is capable of playing in multiple positions too and he has been very effective in all of those places. He must be right the player Liverpool have been looking for. They are waiting for Mane to be sold before bringing him.

Tottenham Hotspur lost its connection with the top in England a while ago. They made it to the Champions League final once, but that was about it. They will not become champions for the next 10 years. It used to be a strong team, but the competition has become stronger. Chelsea and City have spent a lot of money and have become so strong because of it. What surprises me this weekend is that a top striker like Kane still wants to continue playing with the Spurs, while he also wants to pursue his sporting goals? For example, winning the CL.
When you talk about football, I believe Harry Kane is more experience about it than you, so I think Harry Kane believe in the vision of Antonio Conte, he sees Tottenham Hotspur very well because he is there boy, and last season he wanted to leave before the arrival of Conte for him to decide to stay is because he has see that he can achieve that dream at Tottenham Hotspur,  if you start counting the league table from when Conte came then Tottenham would have been second on the table, before Conte arrive you can't bet that Tottenham will go to champions League but here they are, when you consider what Ivan perisic and the new arrivals Conte has put on the wishlist then you will be optimistic about the season just like Kane.

I can still remember the an interview that was carried out on pep guadiola where he was asked about the importance of Gabriel Jesus, he made it very clear that he is one of their most important signings and this is to show that Gabriel Jesus had a future plans with Manchester city, and even last season he was seeing regular playing time only to be getting this, I feel Manchester city needs to believe more in their players.

It is true that Gabriel Jesus is an important player for Manchester city, but the context is now different. A strikerless Manchester city team plays Jesus as a reserve / bench striker for a season; Then proceeds to buy Haaland (a guaranteed striker) which means Gabriel gets a limited role next season. Reality meanwhile is that Gabriel Jesus as a cf is not good to start the epl every week for a top side
Actually in this case Gabriel had little hope of competing for the position there because it was certain that Haaland was the main choice there and that was a fact.
On the other hand, there is really no reason for City to make it difficult for him to leave unless they really want to make him a substitute and let him leave for free next season.

Oh yes that's really normal, Gabriel Jesus is really a strong player and imagine what he can do with Erling Haaland in the next year, maybe they will win Champions League, maybe  Grin Anyway, they shouldn't fell in the same mistake of PSG, they shouldn't buy every single strong player but build a competitive team.
Oh, don't worry about this about Manchester City while a man like Pep Guardiola is working there as a head coach Wink On the contrary, with all the local failures of the club, experts accuse Guardiola that for him the game system is more important than the individual game of the players, therefore, in principle, there can be no such thing in City that the selection department of the club took a player without Guardiola's knowledge, and Guardiola himself now does not know how to use the player. Another question is that theory does not always coincide with practice and therefore a player may not justify Guardiola's calculations for some reason.

Arsenal are trying their possible best to build their team with young lads. Eversince the departure of Arsene Winger, the team haven't been the same, From Unai Emery to Mikel Arteta, they always go for young and vibrant players like Saka which Arteta brought from the academy and gave him an opportunity to play on the pitch. Let's say, Gunners are recycling their team by removing old players. For instance Pierre Aubameyang was send to Barcelona and now, Lacazette who is on his way to Lyon. If Gunners continue like this, by giving young lads chances. In a few season, they will improve their pattern of the game.
Most clubs are preparing for the next season and arsenal after their last performance have to put a lot of things in place to place the club in the right direction to form a strong formation against other clubs, the club used to be among the top 3 in the premier league ling enough not to have fallen below that position in the last season. But with right players signing in this season let see what the club management will come up with.

If the mail sent by Ten Hag is true then that should be the best start of his career in Manchester United. Bruno Fernandes is not as selfish as M. Rashford. To me Fernandes is more co-operative except when he is under duress. Ten Hag has to be very strict about selfish players because this contributed to the poor performance United had last season
I mean selfish is not something that you do in order to become selfish, it is just the way you are. Bruno doesn't seem "too" selfish to me, more like confident, maybe even overconfident, but at the end of the day we are talking about something that is a football player needs to have, they can't think that they are terrible players, that wouldn't bring in a good player.

So, selfish is something about who you are, and if you are selfish person then an email wouldn't change anything since you are not even aware that you are being selfish, you think you did the right thing when everyone is saying that you did the selfish thing and should have passed there.

Interesting analysis about 10 years which is not backed up by anything, you must be guessing well? The last time they were close to the championship was in 15-16, if I'm not mistaken, but I don't see why they won't win another 10 years or come close to winning, that expression sounds like a finger in the sky to me.
Unless indeed one day there is a big company or maybe a big Sheikh who buys a club like what happened to City a few years ago this might happen because indeed everything will be different when you have money Grin
Many real examples such as when in the early 2000s Chelsea were bought by Abramovich and they had a chance to become champions and City were bought by the Sheikh of the Middle East and now they are also regular champions so when something like this happens to Tottenham it will be possible.

The hope that Manchester United will do well next season to enter into top 4 is very narrow as I analyse it. Next season will give a very competitive contest in English Premier league. This is because every club is very much prepared for next season.

I agree with you about that. Finishing the season in top four isn't easy for so many teams in the league. It is valid for Manchester United too even if they show a huge development next season. Because especially Tottenham and Arsenal were very fascinating teams this season and they fought really hard for the fourth position. I don't think that their competition level will decrease next season. They would even do better than this statistically. Manchester United will need to make the difference that will discern them from those two.

I wasn't surprised when HM Son mame was excluded from the list. And it's obvious as to why, but I shouldn't be the one to say that.
Like Some is one of the under rewarded player in the EPL, a player with great tactics and always  hitting the back of the net with wonderful goals that attracts attention to the EPL football. Scoring 23 goals in a season without a penalty kick inclusive in the number of goals he had for the season, and most of these  goals were goals that salvaged Tottenham on the table away from the Europa to UCL  and other important assists not to mention.

Am of the opinion he leaves to where his efforts will be duely rewarded and cause the EPL is just really confusing that one seem not to understand their reasons to certain decisions.

Son Heung Min is a great player in the premier League, you can't just say just because he is playing at a club like Tottenham Hotspur he can't appear in the team of the year, Harry Kane has been playing for Tottenham and winning individual honours but I really think Son Heung Min deserve to be among the contestants,he even deserve winning the player of the year award, he scored 23 goals without a single penalty, his efforts brought champions League football to Tottenham Hotspur, he performed more than Harry Kane and Sadio Mane and yet those two are ahead of him, why?.

I am yet to understand how Heung-Min Son wasn’t included in the PFA players of the year, after winning the Golden boot by banging 23 non-penalty goals this season. I mean the fact that he won the golden boot and led Tottenham to the Uefa champions league place should be massive and should've played a big part in his selection. Honestly this is shocking and disappointing. The omission of H. M son in the team is highly questionable. It makes me think there's other non-sporting reasons for this omission.

A great disrespect from the English premier league not including Son.
Mane had a cool season but we should have seen Son ahead.
I was also impressed with the defending player's including, they had my thoughts.
I also can't believe the absence of HM Son with what he has recorded in the League. I do not know what the assessment is so that he is not included in the list.
I agree with that that there are factors outside of sport that keep him from being seen as the best player on the list. I think it's a bit of a controversy with what they released, which causes a lot of people to wonder.

They write that Frenkie De Jong initially did not want to move to United, but Erik ten Hag, with whom he worked at Ajax, was able to convince him. Now the question is whether the clubs will be able to agree. United are offering 60m plus bonuses, but Barcelona want more. To be honest, if I were them, I would be glad that they have the opportunity to improve their business and would not be too persistent in negotiations.

Looks like manchester city just chose Chelsea as the disposal of their players😜. But it's true that some of the articles I've read include a lot about Jesus and sterling going to Chelsea. Seeing this development I think between the two maybe one of them will officially join Chelsea. Chelsea desperately need players like Sterling and Jesus to strengthen the squad in the coming seasons. moreover sterling's statement he will choose a club that has chances in several competitions.
If that's what he wants then Chelsea or Tottenham are his options (if he wants to stay in the Premier League). Chelsea are very optimistic about being able to compete with Manchester City and Liverpool and other top teams next season for the title, they want to improve their team so are desperate to get some good players like Jesus and Sterling.

For both players I think they better choose Chelsea over Arsenal or any other team because it looks like Chelsea will really have a strong rivalry next season after the change of owner.

Not yet confirmed Arsenal can sign Gabriel Jesus because the latest news I heard manchester City also opened an offer with Chelsea
As we know Chelsea also need a player like Gabriel Jesus, but this could be Manchester City's strategy to force Arsenal to take action like a bluff, Let's just wait how this drama ends.

For Sterling it seems clear that he is likely to go to Chelsea on a sign of a deal which seems to cost Chelsea a pretty incredible price tag. Moreover, Sterling can make a big contribution to the dominant club Chelsea, which must further improve its performance. Next season for Chelsea should be even better, plus the arrival of Sterling could make the game competitive.
With the arrival of Holland at City, regular play in main squard is no longer guaranteed for Sterling. And it is clear that it would be more preferable for him to move to another club, where the place of the main striker will be assigned to him. Well, since Sterling's contract with City expires in 2023, they will want to sell him this summer, so he does not leave the team as a free agent next year.
