Lampard took over a messed-up Everton from Benitez, had some difficulties alone the line, it wasn't an easy task, but he managed it so well and got the result everyone wanted, he did a great job in such a short time at the club.
It was a pretty close one. They had a massive comeback after being down by 2 goals in the 1st half, I thought they are done though. I would never even imagine that Everton would made a solid comeback like that not even in my wildest imagination.
The tough thing about being able to fulfill the result that everyone wanted is that you need to give better next season and honestly Everton is most likely not going to be able to stay on EPL next season with their current squad
Not only were you surprised by Everton's win against Crystal Palace, I was surprised to see Everton managed to turn things around
in the second half. A very important win for Everton to ensure they stay in the Premier League, I agree that next season there is a possibility
that Everton will be relegated if they don't bring in new players. There are even rumors that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be bought by Arsenal
at the end of this season. If that's true, Everton are not only looking for a replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, but Everton also have to buy
some new players at the end of this season, so next season can compete with other teams in the Premier League. At least Everton should be able
to compete for the top 10 next season, and I believe Lampard can do that if given the funds to buy some new players to strengthen the Everton squad.
