Liverpool - Wolves

looking at this odd @1.16 in favor of liverpool it looks like liverpool will be on the field alone while wolves players will be sitting on the bench doing nothing, I'm a liverpool fan but I think bookmakers are exaggerating this odd, I'm thinking about betting on the over 2.5

The over is probably a good bet, but yeah those are shitty odds for the match.  I don't see Liverpool winning by more than 1 goal, so the handicap is also pretty lame.  Usually I like to add props to a match like this one; i.e. corners, total team goals, etc.

I wrongly predicted the final result of the match between Everton and Crystal Palace in my previous comment. I thought Everton wouldn't be able to score 3 goals in the second half but it turns out I was wrong about that.

Everton's confidence in the second half was great, they scored and won the match so they managed to get out of the relegation zone safely this season. Congratulations to the fans, you deserve to enjoy Everton playing in the Premier League next season even if they are performing really badly this season compared to other teams.

I also bet on cristal palace the odd was @2.00 if cristal palace won the game, but I didn't expect them to lose, honestly they conceded 3 goals in such a short time even though they were in control of the game. I think the errors of the Crystal Palace defense were decisive for them to lose

It was an incredible game for certain. I mean the Everton - Crystal Palace game of course. Everton's comeback is going to remain unforgettable for many years I believe. Because they were 2-0 behind first and I wasn't thinking that Everton would be able to win as of then. And I was really frustrated to see this too as I bet on Everton to win. But thankfully, they turned the game around amazingly and won by 3-2. After the winning goal, there were so many Everton supporters in the field which was an interesting incident.  Grin  Everton are officially staying in the PL.
I can't believe what I saw! I left Crystal Palace leading with 2 goals! After 0-2 I was sure Palace will win but surprise surprise, Everton was able to score 3 goals in the second half!! That would explain why bookies were giving Everton good odds!
Now the last relegation spot will stay between Burnley and Leeds. Burnley will face Newcastle and Leeds will play vs Brentford. Burnley odds to stay are slightly over Leeds but who knows.

Arsenal's dream of playing in the Champions League has probably come to an end after losing the last two matches. Tottenham are now 2 points ahead of Arsenal. And Tottenham's last match was against Norwich. Tottenham will easily win this match too. Only a loss to Tottenham points would give Arsenal a chance to qualify for the Champions League.
I can't see Spurs losing to already relegated Norwich on the last day of the season, so sorry to Arsenal fans, but it seems it is going to be Europa League football for them next season, it is a really disappointing end to the season for Arsenal, they had their destiny in their own hands, but two losses in their last two games have put Spurs back in the driving seat and only needing just a point against Norwich to qualify for the CL next season. I feel really sorry for Arteta, he did a very nice job this season, but he couldn't put the icing on the cake with CL football next season, what the gunners have to do now is to pick/dust themselves up and start getting ready to compete next season.

Everton might have saved themselves from the relegation but Burnley and Leeds are still in relegation race. So last team to relegate is still to ascertain. Last gameweek is very crucial as we will get to know who is gonna win and who is gonna be the fourth team for the CL and which will be the last team to relegate.

I'm rooting for Arsenal to take the 4th spot and secure a CL berth next year, but I'm not optimistic.  Arsenal hosts Everton this weekend, and should be able to take away three points, but I don't expect Tottenham to drop any points to Norwich.  All the Spurs need is a tie to secure the 4th spot.  I hope things work out for the gunners, but again, I think it's a longshot.

It is possible for Arsenal to take up the fourth position from Tottenham on the stand if they should play well in their upcoming match. Tottenham just have a difference of 2 than arsenal. If arsenal can be serious with their games they will definitely get the fourth position,  arsenal have more chances to win some of their games than Tottenham.

It's true that the lowly club at the bottom of the table doesn't have much discussion on this forum, but what I can see from the video footage on tiktok is how happy it is for Everton to stay that's why they came on to the pitch after the final whistle.

Here I am a Liverpool fan we will fight each other with Mancity on 22 May, this is our hope so hope there is a miracle that comes so Liverpool can win the trophy.
Because in this case they seem to be given a second chance to improve themselves in the current premier league, it's no wonder they are so happy when they escape the relegation zone because the first caste is certainly more prestigious than the second caste.

In this case it might be a bit difficult especially in this last match City will also face a club that can be said to be a less good club now but as you said hopefully there will be a miracle even though this tends to be impossible
At the end of the season like this, clubs becomes the more fierce than we usually see, especially for teams at the top and the closely relegated once. You can tell that, the game becomes more interesting, especially when there isn't much points difference between teams.
You can imagine the sort of game Southampton did put up with Liverpool just before, with Redmond scoring an unbelievable goal before the replies came and Matip gave them the advantage they needed to collect all 3 points in that game.
Everton's come back wasn't much of a shock but them actually getting to win the game was some good team effort on there part. A hard win indeed and just like that, they've got the chance they need to remain in the premier league.

One game remaining for Liverpool and Manchester City in the Premier League will certainly be a match to show which of them can excel in collecting points. The reason is, the difference of 1 point can create many opportunities for Liverpool, even though Wolves will be much more aggressive. The risk is quite high for Liverpool because they also have to play optimally with Madrid. The choice is whether or not they will play the first team against Wolves?
Liverpool are still eager to win the Premier League title even though currently the biggest opportunity is in the hands of Manchester City. I think Liverpool will play its main squad to win the match against Wolves because there is enough time to rest players for the Champions League after the league season closes.

Even though I'm not a Manchester City supporter, but in a situation like this it feels good to say that Manchester City will win the title by beating Aston Villa. It is absolutely impossible for them to let Aston Villa win the match and help Liverpool win the title. So Manchester City will have to do everything to beat Aston Villa in that game so they can celebrate the title.

It seems that both Leeds and Burnley are exploring legal actions against Everton and have already written to the EPL board. At first I ignored the story but apparently they have a solid case against them.

Everton's losses in 3-year period amount to 372 million pounds (maximum allowed is 105 million) and both clubs are stating that it gave Everton an unfair advantage in the transfer market.

Although I do understand the frustrations, it is really lame to complain 1 game before the end of the season. They could have done that ages ago and therefore I feel that the league will dismiss the complaints.

The Aston Villa Vs Burnley match at Villa Park closed with a draw, this result finally led Burnley to get out of the relegation zone. They were lucky enough to get a penalty kick at the end of the first half, if the penalty wasn't there I'm not sure they could have made a draw.

The next match will be decisive for Leeds United and Burnley, which team will stay in the EPL for next season. Leeds will play with Brentford while Burnley will play with Newcastle.
It's quite difficult for Burnley now because regardless of what games they will play at the end of the season of course with the club on paper now quite the favourites.
Newcastle at the moment are capable enough even more than capable of beating Burnley at the moment and Leeds should take advantage of this at least to get another draw and that will be enough for them

Crystal Palace winning against Everton in the premier league has set the parameters for how the premiere will end and if Manchester City could win their remaining legs in the premier league the club will win 🏅 with the highest point.

Everton won against Crystal Palace  Roll Eyes not Crystal Palace and also it hasn't set the table clear yet. Everton might have saved themselves from the relegation but Burnley and Leeds are still in relegation race. So last team to relegate is still to ascertain. the premier league this season belongs to Manchester City and Liverpool can not meet up with their point since the club has already failed to perform well from the start of the league.

But again Manchester City will have to seat up to make their way to the top this season since they're already heading to the trophy as the season even though they lose out in the champion league.

It was quite surprising when Everton could turn things around in the second half after trailing by 2 goals to Crystal Palace. But their motivation to be able to establish themselves in the Premier League next season is a factor in them being able to do that. Yes they managed to break some of the doubts they had from most people in that match.
What everton did was beyond our expectations, even before the match started many predicted that everton would lose and put their position on the verge of relegation, this prediction strengthened after everton conceded 2 goals in the first half, but indeed football is a very difficult thing it is difficult to predict like with the results obtained by everton in that match, a strong urge to stay in the EPL triggers the unyielding spirit of the everton players until the match is over.
Congratulations to everton and frank lampard, hopefully next season they can be even better.

but it is quite surprising that a club as big as Everton should be in danger of relegation from the start. It shows how far the club has fallen and the amount of work to be done next season.
I hope Frank will remain Everton manager for many years to come. The only success he will bring is avoiding relegation.

-snip- I think it's time for us to get back into the team fighting for the title between Manchester City and Liverpool.
I think both City and Liverpool are likely to get full points in the last game. Indeed, the previous game, City had made the mistake of having to draw against West Ham, but in this match, they will not make the same mistake. Likewise Liverpool, they will try to keep the chance for the Champions, although it is also difficult for them. Because there is only a chance if City draw and they win. As for the City, victory will strengthen their position as the owner of the title. Well, my prediction is 90% of the titles belong to City.
Yes, Manchester City's failure to get points in the previous match made the competition last until the last week. If only they were maximal in the match, of course their path would be easier, but that didn't happen. But this time Manchester City won't make the same mistake in my opinion, because this will be the last and decisive game. So they will play all out.

A really exciting game between Everton and Palace yesterday. I thought there's no way for Everton to turn the game around after going 2-0 down.
They are lucky they did, because their last game of the season is Arsenal away and going there needing points while Arsenal is still hoping for a CL spot isn't the best place to go.

The celebrations and pitch invasion were crazy, seemed like they won the title Grin

It is now between Leeds and Burnley, I feel Burnley has got more chance of staying up.
What a second half comeback from Everton. Lampard went all offensive in his substitutions because he needed to turn over the 2 goals conceded in the first half. Deli Alli and Demarai Gray were the game changers. Relegation is a bad spirit no team will want, indeed this is really English premier league where anything is possible. I think the fans deserve a special mention, no other club in the world would get behind their team like that when they knew they were not good enough to do it by themselves. Unbelievable so proud of the fans and the players that responded to save them imagine if we won something. Hope they keep this fight till next season.

Yes, it's all worked out well for Everton, and what a way to do it! It's weird, but although this has been a disastrous season for them overall, it's given them an amazing night of history and triumph that they will remember for a long time. If you're going to save yourself from relegation, you can rely on other teams around you losing, but it's better if you can stare defeat in the face with a two goal deficit and then come back to win and secure three points and your survival all in one go. Crazy.
