Following the match City vs United at the Manchester derby Cristiano Rolando will be ruled out with an injury. Man United may well be without Cristiano Ronaldo, fact is he weren't dependable last several matches. At least he can escape humiliation cause everyone is backing City to win and which is obvious. But, united have pretty decent records at the Etihad, so Man United should play better without Rolando. They now get an opportunity to handle a superior in his situation.
Arsenal are favorites to beat watford and also favorites for 4th position in my opinion, i hope they can keep up their good form and pick up the needed points, they have been away from the CL for awhile now, and i am pretty sure their fans will be itching to get back into the competition.
surprises can come from Arsenal and Tottenham. they still have some games pending. and Man United and West Ham could have been knocked out of the competition.

City have little or no choice but to win today, Liverpool are breathing down their neck as the title race heats up, a slip up would be a disaster in every sense of the word and Liverpool would capitalize, just as every City fan was watching Liverpool v West Ham yesterday praying for an upset, i am pretty sure the kops would have their popcorns ready for this game, Liverpool have a great rivalry with United, but all that will be put aside for 90 mins, as Liverpool fans would cheer United to victory today in their homes and from wherever they are watching, it is going to be a really intense contest.The other game is important as well, if United loses and Arsenal manages to win Arsenal will surpass United and climb to 4th spot with 3 games in hand - meaning they would be huge favorites for the last CL spot.

How do you evaluate a team's performance when, since Rangnick took over from Micheal Carrick, they have struggled to win games, with more draws than wins and conceding in practically every game, and their best player has been their goalkeeper? Today's game is a must-win for them if they are to qualify for the Champions League, as Chelsea, Arsenal, and West Ham all have games in hand and Manchester United might finish 6th or 7th if these clubs all gather points from their games in hand.

I think the clubs that expect to get into the Champions League at the end of the next championship or even those clubs that are going to fight for gold should start to be afraid now
I think such results inspire the club's investors and for the next season they will set the highest goals. I used to assume slower development, but now I see other options.
Liverpool are definitely hoping Manchester United to win against Manchester City today. But they also are aware that Manchester United don't have a big chance to win technically. But if they are effective in finishing like Tottenham against Manchester City, maybe they can make it. They should play fearlessly first of all. If they play timidly, they will have no choice other than losing this game. Manchester City will control the game mostly that's for sure. But Manchester United must be good at making use of their goal chances.
Honestly I also hope Man Utd win the match, though I am an Arsenal fan, if Man Utd eventually win the match consequently will trigger the contention for title winner to contine till the last day of the league thus all the remaining matches between the title contenders will be very competitive, non of them will afford to lose any point.it's going to be a tough match and won't be easy for Man Utd at all, though it's a derby match I believe the match will live up to expectations, pressure is more on Man City now because Liverpool defeated West Ham yesterday thus closed the gap to three points.

Arteta has experience working besides Guardiola in City as assistant manager so he knows what it is like to manage a team and plan out tactics. Tomas Soucek was today's hero from West Ham. A quick and a perfect goal from him lead the team win the match. It helped me move up to 5th place in the table. However, Arsenal will soon replace them I guess. since Arsenal has just played only 24 matches where as West Ham has completed 27 matches. Arsenal has been performing well in the recent 3 matches winning all the matches consistently which is really awesome. Arsenal might move up to 3rd place if it wins the upcoming match.
Yesterday West Ham United lost 1-0 to Liverpool. West Ham could lose their 5th place after Arsenal's game today. Despite Arsenal missing 4 games, they have the same points as West Ham. Liverpool, on the other hand, took an important victory. Now they are waiting for the result of the Manchester derby. A surprise from Manchester United would make Liverpool very happy.Most people are waiting for the huge match between Manchester City and Manchester United in Etihad. And obviously, Manchester City are very close to winning this match. Manchester United are clearly not a team that are even close to their level now. In fact, Manchester United have very great players in terms of scoring and this team must be able to fight for the championship normally. But here we are and they are a desperate team that can't even beat Watford in Old Trafford. Considering that, Manchester City wouldn't have big trouble here.
You got me laughing here But that is as bad as Manchester United used to be, but when it comes to Manchester Derby, they will play it with all their might. Manchester United does not need to take that match lightly. In as much as Manchester City is fighting to win the league, I believe Manchester United has a greater fight to secure their top 4 space.
So, if it is in the heart of the fans and the coach, Manchester United will win the match. But the players think and play different thing from what was agreed.
Derby matches are always special maybe but I still don't have big expectations from Manchester United. I wish they were better this season but they aren't. And I remember their performance against Chelsea too that they were nearly winning that match even though they were still bad those times. But Manchester City are not like Chelsea. They make mistakes very rarely and it was against Tottenham.
They would definitely focus on not to do that again in this match. Because the title chance is on the line and Liverpool can even equalize the points with them depending on the result of the Manchester derby.

About the Manchester derby of course it's not a doubt for me to win Manchester City, no problem for Manchester City who will play in the second leg in the middle of this week in the UCL against Sporting because Manchester City have won 5-0. So in this Manchester derby, Manchester City will still be able to focus and be able to play at full strength and I really believe Manchester City will win without any doubts for me.

Liverpool and Manchester City are going to have tense games this week and both of them are crucial for the race for the league championship. These games are Liverpool vs West Ham and Manchester City vs Manchester United. I'm expecting a certain win from Liverpool against them. I'm aware of one fact that West Ham are a strong team but Liverpool still are much stronger. As long as Salah performs as always, there wouldn't be any problem. And Manchester City have another game ahead that is not too hard to win. Manchester United are not credible at all.
But Tottenham, which were able to beat City, was also not very credible. And even more so Everton which lost to City only because of a referee's mistake. And we shouldn't forget about the derby factor - even much weaker teams beat the favorites in such games. United is unstable, but it can bring both unpleasant and pleasant surprises.
I agree with the fact you put forward also. Tottenham made a big surprise against Manchester City in that game by winning it 3-2 away. Maybe they didn't find too many goal chances but they were just having a productive day actually. But I think that Manchester United won't be able to repeat this scenario here. But this is my humble opinion of course. People can still try their luck by betting on Manchester United to win. And who knows, maybe they will really surprise me once more after Tottenham did.
Tottenham will face Everton who are ranked 16th in the standings. Everton themselves struggle in their every game, they almost always lose. 5 defeats in 6 matches of course this is a bad result they got. I predict it will be a pretty easy game for Tottenham to get their win. Tottenham also want to get that (win) to catch up with Arsenal and also West Ham.
