I just read that Van Dijk is hunting a record tonight. If Liverpool remains undefeated, it will be his 59th home game without a defeat and he would equal Lee Sharpe's United record.
I usually don't pay much attention to personal milestones like these but this one clearly shows how instrumental Van Dijk is for Liverpool's defence and overall success. He hasn't lost a single PL game at Anfield since his arrival.

I thought that at 4-0 they were done and while the substitutions were being sent on for the final 4 minutes of the match, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane were looking to the sidelines wondering why they were still on the pitch. But I doubt they minded.
But they weren't done and put in two more goals in the last few minutes of the match left.
Truly a momentus occasion for the LFC squad as they are only within 3 points to the leaders on the board.
Today's looks like a blister of a match with Wolves versus Gunners.
I am hoping for a home side win but the Wolves are on the hunt and haven't lost a match in awhile.
I just loved Liverpool's performance against Leeds yesterday. Honestly, I thought that maybe Leeds would fight hard against Liverpool and wouldn't lose by a huge gap like this. But I missed a point here as it seems. Liverpool are the best home team in the league right now. They didn't lose any game so far. They have nearly always dominated their home games. And they did the same against Leeds too. The game was finished in the first half already by Liverpool. And the second half was all about just a show.

The most important win in the relegation was definitely Burnley this week. They beat Tottenham 1-0 in the last match, who knocked out leaders City, and these 3 points are a huge win for them. They still have one less game than Newcastle United and I'm sure they will work hard to score points in that game as well. What a disappointment Tottenham!
But that's how Spurs have been throughout this season. Very Inconsistent. You can imagine having an excellent performance against Manchester City only to lose to Burnely. I remember telling a friend after Spur's triumph against City that it would be no surprise if they lost the next game, and here we are.It's a new twist to what could be an interesting relegation battle.

I think wolves has it in them to beat Arsenal anyday and I'll be rooting for that to happen not because I'm a fan of wolves but because it favours Chelsea top 4 fight. Looking at the statistics between this two club, arsenal has the upper hand but that shouldn't be a worry considering wolves has won four of their last five matches while Arsenal has won just three. Seems wolves also have a better defensive record than arsenal conceding fewer goal than arsenal while having played more matches. I won't be surprised if wolves where to come out victorious.

I'm very upset about the Tottenham team. After losing 3 matches in a row, they got back to great form with a 3-2 win over Manchester City. Harry Kane's performance in particular was outstanding. Everyone thought they were back in form. Will perform better in upcoming matches. But today they have lost to Brunley. Brunley was the last team at the table. Against such a team Tottenham would lose it was completely unexpected. Many people have lost bets in this match.

Not surprised tottenham lost winning against city true is not easy but they have been playing poorly all season what's the point on winning one game and then loosing against a relegation zone team despite having possesion of the ball burnly team was more dangerous and they had more chances to score it was a desereved win for them.

I think previously Liverpool rarely won by big scores, now Liverpool seems to be consistent in that way. Tottenham are not a very reliable team these days indeed. They had a loss streak for three weeks. However, they ended this bad streak by an enormous victory against Manchester City in Etihad also. Taking this into account, I still want to believe that they would fight with all they have for the fourth position in the league standings. Their job is going to be very difficult maybe. Manchester United and Arsenal are other favourites to make it. I would like to see the best playing team reaching this position at the end of the season.
