That is what Coutinho does best. Sure I was delighted with the goal and his double assists but when he’s creating like he was in the first half that’s what his game is all about. Honestly it is good to see him performing well again in the Premier League after flopping badly in La Liga. He’s found his comfort zone again.
Coutinho has had good time in Aston Villa so far but it is too soon to say that he really returns to his best form. For players like Coutinho, they mostly can not get back their their best performance before days they fell into troubles and lost their forms.
Many cases such as Kaka, Shevchenko, Torres, Falcao, Griezman. They can have some shining matches but they all become normal or just a little bit above average players. They never return to be star players like they are used to be.
Aston Villa buying Coutinho would be the perfect deal for all parties. Great for Barcelona, great for Coutinho, great for Aston Villa as well. Everyone wins. I’m not a Villa fan but I’m very impressed with the squad, they are still linking up and when they finally bond, Steven Gerrard will have a very good team. Although they probably should have left with 3 points.
Gerrard is doing his management very well in Aston Villa and football is in amazing time when former team-mates now became coach and player in a same team. There is rumor that Rooney will take over the coach position in Manchester United. Will he become a coach of Cristiano Ronaldo?
