I wonder if the result Manchester United got against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup will affect the team in a negative way when it comes to their next Premier League game. FA Cup is one of the prestigious tournaments in England but I still don't think that Manchester United will be under pressure just because of that result. Their main focuses are this league and the Champions League now. So, I think that they will show a strong performance in the Burnley game and make up for the loss I mentioned.
Of course they will be disappointed, let's be realistic, that's like their only chance of a trophy this season and they just blew it away, there's no chance in hell Manchester United are going to win the CL or the EPL, so at this point in time, it's a tournament they should take seriously, which they did of course, but could not win in the end, they are more or less now heading for another trophyless season.
Having said that, all United is fighting for in the league now is a champions league spot for next season, they must finish in the top four or else it will be a disastrous season for them, and mind you that the competition for fourth place is really intense with teams like Arsenal, Spurs, West Ham all going for it, it's gonna be fight to finish.
