Biggest shock of  the FA cup to me should be Leicester city vs Nothenham Forest, the premier league side Leicester city lost to a lower division side Rotherham Forest 4 goals to their single goal, and what's even funny is that they fielded a strong team against this lower division team, I think the quality of football from the English premier league teams is dropping fast.

The comeback that this player showed was quite sweet after he suffered an ankle injury a few months ago, I didn't expect him to be played again and even more didn't expect him to score goals.
Elliott proved that he is still worthy despite the many doubts from some media after the severe injury he suffered.
Elliott's sweet comeback and great goal, I'm very happy with this win because it's a special one for Liverpool fans including myself.
With Elliott condition, which is not yet fully optimal, he has proven that he is able to contribute 1 goal. Admits with great enthusiasm that he can show his qualities as a competitive player. Fantastic goal and closed the second half with a satisfying result.

Besides that, in the first half, Leicester City was struggling to reduce the gap from Nottm Forest who could score 2 points.
When he broke his bone I was actually very worried about his condition after he recovered, there would definitely be trauma that haunts him and becomes a shadow because the injury he got a few months ago was quite severe but now he is playing quite brilliantly even as a substitute and this proves his capabilities as well as his professionalism in the field.

Btw speaking of Leicester they now seem to have accepted their defeat. how could they currently be slaughtered with a score of 4-1. the match was a few minutes away and they seemed to have given up.
Injuries like that are always very dangerous as it can even terminate the career of any player all through his life time .
The validate that was used after he sustain the injuries was up and capable of holding down on that position swiftly and could do that as many times as possible. Leicester have reduced in thier game play and every criteria to the point that a club like Brighton can confidently play them even to thier doomed, its a tragedy

[...]If you win, the difference in points will be 6 points.

City hardly loses point but it's definitely is a golden chance. They can find another 3 points if they beat in game against them in April and maybe hope for some other team to force City drop some points but they also have to maintain a flawless run in order to keep City on toe in title race.

Man, it's a good day to be a Liverpool fan.

Best scene of the day is our Elliot coming back from September injury -- amazing he's only needed 5 months to come back from such a horrific injury, and then to come on and score a brilliant goal? Then we have our new signing Diaz also come in to provide the assist.

Minamino scoring, Trent and Robbo assisting, Jota scoring, the only slight flaw was we didn't keep a clean sheet. But big win, and seeing so many people coming back from injury (Thiago, Keita). Lovely. Can't wait to see them resume the premiership battle against Leicester!

That's a brilliant news for Reds. Elliot has been sensational for Liverpool when he was starting in games. He has great potential to become a great player. Diaz is also another great signing. I gotta say here , that Liverpool has great eye for talent not only in getting new players but also bringing up some from their academy. No wonder they are strong team now, it is a combined efforts of the staff , board over the years that has made them strong.

Elliot who has featured will provide the power for their next game against Leicester. However, the current second position must be maintained and chasing City points which are still possible to pass. This is a golden opportunity for them not to lose to Leicester so the point gap is getting smaller. If you win, the difference in points will be 6 points.

liverpool can no longer afford to lose more points, they are already long from city and that's why they need to win all the games they played in the next few days to try to reduce the big difference it has with city, city hardly loses points and that's what creates the most pain. heads to chelsea and liverpol, this will be a competition in which whoever manages not to lose points will win

FA Cup games more or less went the way of the favourites yesterday, after some mild shocks weathered by the first two Premier League teams, but I doubt we'll see any surprises in today's opener -- and that's not me being an arrogant Liverpool supporter, just purely on the basis of the first 20 minutes of the game where we've not only been in control, we've had a few chances already --  when VVD is taking shots from the box, you know it's on.

Just looked like we escaped giving a penalty, Konate my man. Crowd at Anfield is popping, Diaz warming up too!

I expect Liverpool to easily win against Cardiff.  But of course, the FA Cup is a trophy with a lot of surprise results.  If Liverpool is eliminated against Cardiff, it will surprise them as much as Manchester United.  I hope they don't leave room for surprise.  The Reds will easily pass this round.
Liverpool finally won with a final score of 3-1 which makes Liverpool existence now reckoned again and will continue to increase the tempo of aggression in beating the club in front of them. The limitations of players do not make them afraid and not confident. Because that's the mentality that Klopp has applied to his team. Must show more independence and not be free from the absence of Mane and Salah.

^^Well it takes time to settle in and its just the beginning and yeah true that we can't judge him with play of 30 minutes but I still think it is great to see Liverpool considering to buy players and keep options available in the squad. City has big squad, Chelsea now does too and Liverpool are also on the same road.

Leicester one should be an interesting game too, Patson Daka is running hot for them.

It was nice to see Elliott back after a heavy injury he got at the beginning of the season. He's a world class talent and he's shown that today again - it was a really nice goal and you could see how much it meant to him.

It is hard to judge Diaz after his first 30 minutes but his trickery for the 2nd goal was really nice. He didn't really gel flawlessly with the team - you could see he's unaware who is where and what he needs to do. Still, a really nice debut from him and he will be good once he learns the team's patterns - especially offensive ones.

Overall a decent game, bring us Leicester next.

Liverpool made sure to qualify quite convincingly for the last 16 of the FA Cup after beating Cardiff City with a score of 3-1. A predictable result considering that Cardiff City is a championship team and it will be very easy for Liverpool to qualify for the round of 16. But it took Liverpool 53 minutes to score the first goal through Diogo Jota and Takumi Minamino added Liverpool's lead to 2-0 in the 68th minute before the last goal was scored by Elliott in the 76th minute. Cardiff City were able to reduce the deficit through a Rubin Colwill goal in the second minute to 80th.

Liverpool have finally proven that big team in England, as they find it easy to dominate the entire Cardiff team, there performance was excellent as they took both the ball possession and chances created, with this match, I can't say but I still see hope for Liverpool in the premier league title race with Manchester city 😔.

With Tottenham performance in yesterday FA cup match against Brighton and the way the players show lot of commitment I think the transfer market was a good one for them in terms of the players that left( Ndombele, geovanni Locelso, deli Alli) there was no bad energy on like before you observe they are players that don't want to be there.
Exaxtly this.

I believe conte give all of the players a freedom of choice , if you do love the club and want to fight for the badge show it and you might stay or else you better go for good.
Conte well known were super enthusiastic and energetic, when he sees his players doesnt fit his philosophy then yeah that's what happened to those 3 players.
Superb performance , they will have to play against southampton in the prem this wednesday and with this winning , the morale boosted!
Hopefully their morale is still maintained until the next match in the EPL, Conte can't do it quickly and needs time to be able to build a better team. But I think, even though the three players are still in the team it doesn't seem to have any influence, because their presence or absence also has no impact on the team. What if we look at it from a different angle where Tottenham managed to sign two players from Juventus, Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur, which I think would be the right transfer Conte made for Tottenham.

I can't find where Jack Wilshere is at the moment, because the squad is currently at Bournemouth from the sources I got, Jack Wilshere's name is no longer there. Therefore, then I don't think there is a good reason for Arsenal to sign him again, Arsenal have good finances and arsenal can buy better players and have good potential too from time to time. Arsenal don't have to make a reunion like Xavi did at Barcelona but if it's an old, very fit player who can make a big impact on the team then that's fine too but for Jack Wilshere I don't think it's necessary.
Its not about how much money have by Arsenal but many player not agree play for Arsenal, before window transfer close Arsenal have contact many player from Morata until dusan vlahovic for replace position left by Aubameyang but not any player get deal with Arsenal. I think with Jack Wilshare back to Arsenal could help Arteta although he was not as important player right now after one year without club.
Arsenal's current situation is quite difficult because of the many rumors circulating with their new player deals not even reaching a good agreement there.
Maybe they will maximize Lacazine and Pepe up front.
As for Jack, maybe they will now only be their back-up on the front lines.
I actually like this player, but indeed Injuries are still one of the reasons he is not developing well.

If Harry winks and Doherty has not improved there performance he ( Antonio Conte) he would have include them in the clear out. Since he came to spurs you will see improvement in some players game especially the ones that still wants to play for spurs like Ben Davies and Harry winks, sometimes when I watch Ben Davies play I said to myself is this the same guy, his improvement is amazing.

I also think like you.  With Kane and Son, Tottenham is playing better games.  Besides, there is a Manchester United that changed the technical team.  Manchester United is superior to Arsenal in terms of squad quality.  If they combine this quality with harmony and reflect it on the games, they can most likely be the fourth in the league.  Low probability for Arsenal to finish fourth.  It remains to be seen how the Premier League will rank this year.  The championship will most likely belong to Manchester City.
Definitely Manchester City will win the title and Liverpool will finish as runners up, Chelsea are likely to finish 3rd but if they drop form again as they did in December they might struggle with the rest of the team fighting for that top four spot, for me Manchester United are the favourite for the top four if you are judging by good talented squad but the are not putting those talent on the pitch, the other favourite for the position is Tottenham, now they have get the players that brings negativity to the team( Ndombele and Ali) and bring in the guys from Juventus I think they can now be considered serious.arsenal does not have a squad that is convincing to claim the top four even if they are playing well this season.
