Liverpool's players, on the other hand, are now focused on the Champions League.
No, Liverpool won't let Manchester City have the chance to win the Premier League title and I don't think it's right that Liverpool will just focus on the Champions League and leave City without pressure at the top of the table. I'm sure Liverpool still have a chance because the season is still quite long, I just hope Manchester City drop a few points.
The Champions League and Premier League are both important to Liverpool, so it would be inappropriate for them to only focus on one of the two title when they still have a chance to win both before the end of the season.

I agree with you. Liverpool shouldn't lose hope in both the competitions as they have a chance to win both.
But you know, winning the EPL would be a bit tricky as a lot would depend on whether City loses points or not as it seems a bit unlikely as City has been very consistent throughout the season.
But letting City win the league for free shouldn't be in Klopp's tactic book I'm assuming. They are also in a decent position in UCL. Let's see how the season goes for them.

Manchester City have consistently performed well this season and are now at the top of the table. And they are about 11 points ahead. In the next few days, they will be able to concentrate on the Champions League. Even if they lose some points in the Premier League, their position in the points table will not change. Players will be able to play completely stress free. Liverpool's players, on the other hand, are now focused on the Champions League.
You are right, so for now the position of Man City is still quite safe and at least it will not worry too much about the position of the standings in the EFL. The big task is positions 2, 3, and 4 which they must continue to make their position more secure from the threat of other clubs. One of them is Man United which is only 1 point difference and it is quite disappointing if there is a shift in place again by West Ham.

The difference of 4 wins in the match is not easy to be chased by Liverpool and Chelsea.  However, Chelsea has a very thin margin and it is very possible that Liverpool's position will be shifted by him.  The next team opponent for Chelsea is Crystal Palace, which incidentally is a bottom team, Chelsea should be superior from various sides.

we can't underestimate crystal palace, they can surprise when they struggle and chelsea are not a team that has been consistent and can lose in this game if they don't work out, it will also be a good test for Chelsea, if they win comfortably without conceding too many goals then they may still have a chance to fight to reach city

Lampard is set to become new manager of Everton. More than a year since he was sacked as Chelsea manager and now he is set to sail his new jorney as Toffees manager now. Everton have great players and they have got a good and a strict manager here. Lampard probably might wanna go easy on the players now as his previous ways of disciplining players of Chelsea players went wrong and he didn't used the players right when he was at Chelsea. Hope he pulls back Everton back into PL race and probably help them finish better.
This is the perfect job for him not to be a Coach of Chelsea football club, I think there was much a rush to that, good thing he is more experience now.
I'm seeing him taking back to winning ways, at least they won't be relegated at the end of the season.
Congratulations to him on grabbing this, he'll sure get them in shape as Gerrard's doing with Aston Villa.
It is not always about being rushed to a job. Zidane was rushed to a job, and he got 3 UCL titles with it, his first ever managing job. I am not saying everyone has to do that, I mean how many times a team even did that? But at least be better than expected, that is what you should be considering. Tuchel took over and won UCL with the same team that Lampard got fired from, I am not saying Lampard is a terrible manager but he certain isn't a good one after what we saw from Tuchel.

This is why I believe that Lampard will not help Everton to be great neither, they will underachieve for a while and at first they will blame the already not so great team and eventually it will shift towards Lampard and eventually he will be fired.

they are no longer productive with many goals, like the games at the end of last year.
if it does slip, I might see Liverpool as champions.

I think winning is more important, so playing effectively to reduce player fatigue is much better. I don't think Man City has lost the quality of the game. They are still the same as last season. Regarding the opportunities for chelsea and Liverpool, they have many opportunities to catch up with Man city. There are still a lot of games left, maybe Man City can lose. But I still choose Man City as the favorite to win the EPL this year.
that's the City now. Their focus is to win and keep adding points. For gamblers, of course, what counts is the outcome. but for the fans and connoisseurs, of course, what Man City has to offer is not so good.
City is a strong team with a point difference that is quite far from its competitors. only Chelsea and Liverpool are likely to rival City's points. and that can only happen when City loses its lucky momentum.

manchester city going to get slipped and finish the season below the other two.
there is still a match to be played. and if City is not consistent then they can of course slip. because there are Liverpool and Chelsea who are ready to take a position.
Liverpool and Chelsea's opportunities are still big open. but it depends on their ability to get full points. because City also seems to only take it safely to keep getting points in every game. they are no longer productive with many goals, like the games at the end of last year.
if it does slip, I might see Liverpool as champions.
For Manchester City, if they only face Brentford and Norwich, it is not a serious problem. They can overcome it by earning a lot of points. Moreover, the difference is still far away to be pursued by Liverpool and Chelsea. So, in my opinion, City's presence at the top of the standings is still considered safe and will not be too threatened by the presence of Liverpool or Chelsea if in the next 2 matches the two clubs produce goals.

Yes, Everton now have high hopes for Frank Lampard. Everton are now in 16th position in the standings, only 4 points from the red zone. It will be a tough job for Lampard to bring Everton back at least to mid-table. Hopefully Lampard can carry out his duties well.

I don't think it would be too difficult to keep Everton in the top 10-12 of the points table if Lampard is experienced enough. Everton has scored 24 goals this season. The Wolves, in eighth place in the points table, have scored only 19 goals. This means that Everton's players are not too bad. They have the abvility to score. Now only if Lampard can manage the team properly can Everton rise to the top of the table.

Lampard may be a good coach, but we can't expect much from a team like Everton. Everton is a weak team. They have to spend money if they want to be strong. Talented players should be taken in the team. The players are weak but the coach is experienced, in this situation good performance is not possible. In addition to hiring experienced coaches, the coach should be given the opportunity to sort out the squad with the players of his choice. It will cost a lot of money.
Not one big team will agree to invite to the post of head coach, who has not shown results with weak and medium teams. If Lampard is a great coach, then when he joins a team, even one like Everton, he has to do the work so that the team plays better than before, that players give their all on the field in every match. He must motivate players to win. If there are no such results in the team, then this coach will not be interesting.

The odds were true.

But the fact it's football where even a 0.001 percent could beat the 90 percent side , i'd say false to whoever call city as the absolute winner.
Look at leicester city odds when they won the league , they beat the bookies! They beat the what so called 'expert'

And talking about the oods like 7.65 and 82 , i would rarher risk my money on these two sides rarher a big bet on an 1.11.
I insist to call the title race still wide open especially for the two, mark my words i had this feeling ... manchester city going to get slipped and finish the season below the other two.

Leicester didn't beat the bookmakers when they won the league. On the contrary, it confirmed that the bookmakers were right - such events occur once every 50-60 years and there is nothing surprising in this. As for the choice on which coefficient to bet, it is necessary to look not for large or small, but for distorted ones. Read about value betting, it is described there.

Lampard officially became Everton coach replacing Rafael Benitez who was sacked because of a series of poor results obtained by Everton in the previous few matches. It will be interesting to look forward to Lampard's debut with Everton, will allow him to follow in the footsteps of Gerrard who was quite successful with Aston Villa and brought the club out of the relegation zone. Statistically Lampard did not stand out too much when he was Chelsea coach and can he bring Everton back up to the top or not?

If we talk about Rafael Benitez, basically Benitez is an experienced coach too, Benitez had coached Liverpool to Real Madrid in the past. That way, I can't assume Benitez doesn't have experience, I just don't think Benitez isn't able to give his best for Everton yesterday. Now Everton do need a quick change hopefully Lampard can do well too, because it's not enough for Everton to just change coaches to bounce back.
Under Lampard tutelage, Everton will be quite different, although in fact when he was still with Rafael Benitez there was a slight decline. The existence of Lampard is also still being questioned whether he is able to bring Everton to a smoother net. With the current state of the Everton squad, it may be quite difficult for Lampard to fix the Everton players. This season alone Everton has experienced many setbacks and it will be a tough task for a Lampard to bring Everton to the safety zone.

Statistically Lampard did not stand out too much when he was Chelsea coach and can he bring Everton back up to the top or not?
Lampard managed Chelsea for one and less than a half season. He came in after when Maurizio Sarii left Chelsea for Juventus and actually in that season Chelsea did good under Lampard as manager. Chelsea finished 4th that season compared to previous where they finished 3rd under Sarri. Lampard is a new manager and has lot to learn before he joins elite group of managers but right now he is right on the tracks of it. Everton back to top under him feels hard for me but they should become better under him.
It will be the same as Steven Gerrard who is full of learning to be in the elite board of the English league to become a coach, but with his return to the EPL Lampard at least knows the situation of the EPL game and this can definitely improve Everton's performance if they entrust to some players, I think in very fit to try his return after Chelsea.
This Legendary player will return to the EPL to continue his new assignment.
