Lampard is set to become new manager of Everton. More than a year since he was sacked as Chelsea manager and now he is set to sail his new jorney as Toffees manager now. Everton have great players and they have got a good and a strict manager here. Lampard probably might wanna go easy on the players now as his previous ways of disciplining players of Chelsea players went wrong and he didn't used the players right when he was at Chelsea. Hope he pulls back Everton back into PL race and probably help them finish better.
This is the perfect job for him not to be a Coach of Chelsea football club, I think there was much a rush to that, good thing he is more experience now.
I'm seeing him taking back to winning ways, at least they won't be relegated at the end of the season.
Congratulations to him on grabbing this, he'll sure get them in shape as Gerrard's doing with Aston Villa.
It is not always about being rushed to a job. Zidane was rushed to a job, and he got 3 UCL titles with it, his first ever managing job. I am not saying everyone has to do that, I mean how many times a team even did that? But at least be better than expected, that is what you should be considering. Tuchel took over and won UCL with the same team that Lampard got fired from, I am not saying Lampard is a terrible manager but he certain isn't a good one after what we saw from Tuchel.
This is why I believe that Lampard will not help Everton to be great neither, they will underachieve for a while and at first they will blame the already not so great team and eventually it will shift towards Lampard and eventually he will be fired.
