Only Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are spearheading the trophy.
That was prolly at the beginning of the season, at the moment it no longer looks like a three horse race to me, but a one horse race with City leading comfortably, I know there is still a chunk of the season to go, but I mean there is no overlooking City's dominance and the fact that they look set to retain their title, and win their fourth title in six seasons, that's absolutely phenomenal. And to make things worse for their rivals Pep is not the kind of manager whose team capitulates easily, so I don't see City throwing away this huge gap they have over Chelsea, Liverpool and the rest of the chasing pack, it's prolly early to say the league is all but over, but it well and truly could be.
In the first rounds I remember City was like +10? at some point I regretted voting for them to lift the trophy Tongue then they advanced slowly and steadily to become the leaders and with quite comfortable gap. So far I am pretty sure they will keep up good works and hopefully the others will drop some points so my vote will be correct again this season Roll Eyes

There are still some games out of 36 games. So that the turbulence of competition is still running for the three clubs. Indeed, for now, Man City is leading and difficult for Chelsea and Liverpool to reach. Because as a potential trophy winner, of course, everyone believes that Man City deserves it all. However, the competition wasn't over yet and the day Kami realized little by little the changes were taking place. The ups and downs have always looked so difficult to push City down with such an outstanding performance.

It looks like the fans will definitely miss Carrick to return to coach Manchester United next season.

Definitely no, the team needs another manager that would be able to bring the team back to its peak performance and Carrick is not cut out for it. I mean yeah he was great but he is pretty much still new compared to some other names so obviously no. This is actually my own sentiment not to let Carrick took over the team because I dont want him to be sacked like Ole just in case he is not doing his job well

He is one of the club's legend so obviously I would love to watch him come back some day but definitely not next season

It seems only Manchester City are on the way to take the trophy. They are collecting much more points than Chelsea and Liverpool. If Manchester City won't self suicide in the second half of season, they will take the trophy.

Sure. Objectively speaking, Manchester City is the best in all respects - they have scored the most goals and conceded the least. Their leadership can be seen with the naked eye - both by the game and by the points. In order for one of those catching up to get closer to City, it must play as confidently as City did, which is quite difficult in such a competitive championship, and City must lose at least 3 matches, which is also very unlikely.
Well I am not surprise about Man City dominance in EPL, they are big club bankrolled by Sheikh Mansour a  billionaire thus they have quality players, it will be difficult for other club to compete at the same level with the club, that is why catching up with the club will be very difficult, the two runner-ups Liverpool and Chelsea who ought to have win their last match by either side to close the gap played a draw thus consolidating the Man City leadership of the EPL table.

Thank you. Your seeing things just the way I've been looking at it when Manchester City started this there winning trick. Unfortunately for both Chelsea and Liverpool, they gave way to them and now, Pep have got them just right where he wanted them. Now, being 2nd and 3rd place just doesn't matter to Manchester City anymore. The gap from points to goal difference is steadily being drawn and I don't see Manchester City to jeopardise it at any point with a hand full of about 17 games left. I hate to say it but, from the way its looking, it seems the league tropis already closed to any form of competing.

Just getting to the top 5 is already very difficult, let alone reaching a trophy which is even more impossible. Where Manchester United can't really play to improve its performance. While they were with Carrick, they opened up quite a lot of opportunities. However, because a new coach is always considered unable to adjust the characteristics they have. To me, that's just an excuse. considering all are trying to reach the top.
It looks like the fans will definitely miss Carrick to return to coach Manchester United next season. I think Rangnick so far is not bad enough to lead Manchester United because he managed to bring Manchester United won 3 times, drew 2 times and lost 1 time in the 6 match he led. It's only been 6 match mate, Rangnick also needs time to make his team as good as expected. So bad stats might not be worth it.

Only Man City, Chelsea, and Liverpool are spearheading the trophy.
Maybe only Manchester City are steady alone at the top of the table, the other two teams are struggling to get back to their best. So the competition to reach the top is still tough for Chelsea and Liverpool because Manchester City are quite consistent in every match.

You see the Manchester united midfield can never and will never win them trophies.
One can talk and boast of their attack but you see that midfield ? Never i repeat, they're all joker's.
Like Manchester united is over paying those boys, how do you expect thel to win games. ?
Take a good look at Rashford,Lingard, Paul Pogba, receiving big pays but not consistent and playing up to standard.

Was it because Manchester United applied a counter-attack strategy which in the end, Rangnick made a blunder because it was clear Wolves could dominate the game. That is something strange, Old Trafford does not seem to have the power for Manchester United with the star squad it has. Next Manchester United will play against Aston Villa in the FA Cup and EPL, hope Manchester United can win both but if the problem is not resolved quickly then I doubt it.

Even from the start against Aston Villa was not a problem, but that's how Manchester United is always unpredictable. Playing erratically and doing too many things off target. When they played in yesterday's match they had an advantage in terms of quality. Well here is the same as when you later fight Aston Villa. So hope they win, from the start against Wolves we also expected the same.

Right now newcastle is moving fast to bring in several players to strengthen their squad, I think Trippier is not the last player that newcastle will bring right now, because with a large amount of money newcastle will certainly continue to recruit some players to be able to keep them from the relegation zone, but which is quite surprising to me now, it seems that newcastle is more targeting players who are over the age of 29, I don't know what they think by trying to bring in some old age players?
Yea is good to bring the new signings early so they have enough time to adapt, age is not a problem as long as they are good players and can deliver, trippier comes with lot of experience and he has played in the premier League before, I think they follow this up with players like Wilfred Zaha, draxler, lingard and martial this players won't stress them much in negotiations.
For the time being it's okay to buy old players because it's not easy to buy great players nowadays they are still playing at the club at this time
On the other hand many great players are not ready to play at Newcastle for several reasons so Newcastle have to improve the rankings first and build a reputation this way Newcastle will be considered.

If Newcastle wants to improve, it needs to improve step by step. Management must make a plan. They need to set budgets and set goals together.
Their only goal this season will be to qualify for the Premier League. If they can qualify, they will have to pick some mid-quality players next season. And try to stay in the top 7/8 of the points table. , Then next season they can join the title fight.

I think in this situation the coach is not to be blamed. He can't do anything unless he is given new players as the problem of Manchester United are the players, they don't seem to be in harmony with each other.
Yes I agree with you. Manchester United have a lot of top players, but they don't look close to each other. This is an important factor why the team's performance cannot be maintained. The addition of a few other players in the transfer market might lift their motivation, but of course Rangnick has work to do with them.

The game of yesterday emphasized this even further where Manchester United was not able to create dangerous attacks. In fact Wolves did play better and they fully deserved the victory but I too am upset for a team like Manchester United,I miss the times where they were a super power not only in Premier League but also in International competitions.
Do you agree that the Manchester United era has passed since Ferguson retired? I'm sure about that. There have been players and coaches who have come and gone since then, but look what they have?

After few seasons, Manchester United have less dependence on Bruno Fernandez but he is losing his best performance so the reduced dependence on Bruno comes from both this player and whole system of Manchester United. Personally, I think their system is very bad with creativeness that in turn limits key passes for attacking players or strikers.

I disagree with the behave of Ronaldo when he complained too much and react aggressively with his team mates but I agree that his team mates don't do good jobs.

Newcastle is getting close to Trippier - the 25mil pounds fee seems to have been accepted by Atletico. Both of Newcastle's rightbacks (Krafth and Manquillo) are Championship material but paying 25 mil pounds for a 31-year old isn't really the best piece of business.
Atletico paid less for him when they bought him from Spurs 2 years ago and he was aa lot better then than he is now.

Still - football-wise, he'll help Newcastle a lot.

Trippier will be the main squad player for Newcastle this year, but could possibly be an alternative after better signings next year. £25M is too much in my opinion, but they charge a high price because they know that Newcastle United has been bought by Prince Salman.

Manchester United end last season well, when this season start Ole have prepared his players for the title by giving Edison cavani new contract and signing jadon Sachin and Varane then Manchester City was on the verge of signing Christiano Ronaldo then United lose their head and forget to strengthen other departments like a good defensive midfield and a right back to compete with wan bisakka, and go all out to get a player they don't really need, few months later Ronaldo makes Ole project stop because his ambitious is more than ole.i think Ronaldo kills the harmony in that squad.
I don't think it happened. many of the fans love the arrival of Ronaldo. This is great for team marketers.
but I also don't see this as a breakdown of the harmony that was built at Man United as you said.
30 goal in 19 games, I don't think it's a bad thing. and 8 goals created by Ronaldo. he's not the one working alone. but I think there is public discontent with Ole's performance in his tenure.

The chances of Manchester United losing look small, but you will have a big odds if you believe Wolves won today.
In recent match Manchester United managed to maximize their chances of winning the match and they have been finding good form ever since. I believe that Manchester United will be very likely to win, they will maintain their form to stay on the winning track.
But what I've said, comes true right? 2 times what I guess has been true but I dont have any money to bet for them. Really, If I can turn back time I can make a big deal for betting. Man United just full of hopeless, even their match with Wolves which everyone thought Wolves would be beaten easily then became a winner.
Lol,,, you and I know better that prediction often comes easy when you haven't bet your money on it. I mean, it's always much easier to have a say and then stay the path to the end. Even on a running game that, your team happens to be on the loosing side. Eventually the come back comes and then you feel as though, you could have won the jackpot.
When your money could be at stake, its a whole different story because right then, there is something to loose.
I wouldn't trust Manchester united over any team with my money at this point, the team isn't just stable and in there games, just anything could be the outcome. Especially when they face a fairly coordinated team like Wolverhampton yesterday. Wolves which is known for giving top teams some bone to chew in a match.
